*Sakura's pov. *

As Kai slowly unsheathed his razor-edged sword, I backed away in surprise.

" K-Kai," I hesitated. "Drop your sword! They're the protectors of this shrine.... I think."

"Ugh! Fine!" Kai glared at the two fox - like siblings with suspicion. " I'll let it slide this time. "

" Yeah, good idea,"rasped Ayame. " You almost got us into some unnecessary conflict! "

I frowned. Didn't Ayame cause half of the other 'unnecessary' conflict we encountered earlier with the fox - like siblings?

" Well, can we go into your shrine?" Aki tapped his foot as he waited impatiently. " We don't have all day for you to decide!"

" Fine," Hiroshi sounded annoyed like he couldn't put up with us any longer. "But I'm telling you, I've never heard or seen 'this' orb of yours."

  I shrugged.  "I guess it doesn't matter if it's not there-"

" Great! Then LEAVE," scowled Hiroshi with a fake grin.

"No! I didn't mean it that way!" I gave Hiroshi an incredulous look. Ugh! Was helping someone that hard? Jeez!

  As if he could read my mind, Hiroshi grunted. "Yes, Missy. It is very hard for people to help others."

I gulped. " O-okay. Thanks for the heads up. "

Slowly, Hiroshi creaked the door open. However, that time, the light was actually able to enter the shrine and there was no dust flying everywhere like a sand storm in the desert.

"Clean up this shrine of yours would ya?" Ayame mumbled as she looked around. However,  due to Hana and Hiroshi's keen ears, Hana whimpered,"S-s-sorry, we-"

However, Hiroshi immediately snapped," You have no idea how hard it is to clean this shrine! It's not your fault Hana."

Hiroshi patted Hana's hand affectionately.  My eyes widened in astonishment. Wow! That was the first time since the twenty minutes we've met that Hiroshi actually acted to someone.

" What,"Hiroshi glared at me.

"Don't bully Sakura, "Aki sputtered. " Though I agree.....Sakura what are you doing?"

"W-what?" I said.

"Nothing,"the two guys said in unison.

"Enough chit-chat! Let's go!" Ayame yawned.

"Okay princess,"said Hiro with a laughed.

As we walked to different rooms, I looked at each room with awe. Although from outside the shrine looked small and rustic, the inside of the shrine was like a maze. As we came to the last two rooms, we passed by the second last one and skipped over to the last room. How odd. Why did we skip a room? Could they be hiding something from us?

" What about that room,"I asked as I pointed at the room we skipped.

" That room isn't for us to show you. It's our master's room,"explained Hana.

"Oh, then where's your master,"asked Ayame.

" He's-,"Hana began to say.

" It's none of your concern,"snapped Hiroshi.

" Fine!"Ayame threw her hands up in the air.

  Annoyed, Ayame stormed into the last room and flung the door open. The last room was by far the largest room of the shrine. The room was not decorated with any furniture, however, it was still amazing. The wood was clearly cut with the finest material despite the outside of the shrine. Well, I guess that's why you don't judge a book by its cover.

"See," Hiroshi sounded annoyed. " There's nothing here! There is no orb in this shrine!"
