* Third person perspective *

As they walked through halls and rooms filled with gorgeous silk paintings and gold sculptures, Hiro looked at all the riches with awe. After walking here and there,  turning every now and then, they finally stopped at the most magnificent and grand room.

" Holy macro! That is one big room,"muttered Ayame under her breath as her eyes shone.

" I-I-I c-c-can't believe it! Even this door looks really exquisite,"squealed Hiro as he touched the etched detail on the door.

"Tell me I'm not dreaming,"said Sakura with awe.

" This is even more magnificent than my castle,"exclaimed Aki.

" Meh. It's okay,"said Kai frankly with a shrug.

" Shhh!  The great emperor is inside. Remember to bow down when you walk in and call him his majesty. Oh, and don't forget to smile at everything he .....,"the escort began to say.

" Okay, okay! Enough with the rules,"snapped Ayame.

" Well, of course, " said the escort with a frown.

As the escort slowly slid open the delicate golden door, the escort immediately bowed down and stepped back.

" You're highness, the destined one and her friends are here, "said the escort as he kept his head down, not daring to lift it up.

" Very well, you may lift your head up now,"said the king with the most silky voice ever,"Come in!"

The king was looked about 69 years old. Although his was old, he still gave off a powerful and stern aura. His long grey hair fell onto his back. With just one look at the king you could see he elegant air. Even his posture was perfect! The king was wearing a long silk robe with delicate hand sown designs of dragons. On his head was a gigantic head ornament,  perhaps a crown, you couldn't really be able to tell.

" You're majesty, we are pleased to meet you,"said Sakura as she bowed down. The rest followed her bow, that is everyone but Ayame.

" Pst! You're supposed to bow down remember, "hissed Sakura.

" What? Me? How can you expect me, an awesome and proud ninja to bow down to an old man like him, "exclaimed Ayame a bit too loud.

" Girls, I can hear you. I may be old, but I'm definitely not deaf,"said the king.

  "We're so sorry...,"Sakura began to apologize. However, Ayame quickly interrupted Sakura,"No, I'm not sorry. Look old man, I'm not care if you're the king. We have important information for you. Either listen to us or don't and let your scrawny kingdom fall,"snapped Ayame with no respect what so ever.

"Oh, and throw us a feast too,"added Hiro quickly with a wide grin.

"Y-your majesty...,"the escort began to say.

" Hahaha! I like your energy little girl,"laughed the king as his hand that was covered by his robe became visible.

" I'm not little ...... and....Woah,"Ayame began to say.

" What,"asked Sakura with a sigh.

" W-where did you get that pointy finger ring thing? It's sick,"exclaimed Ayame with awe.

"What pointy ring? Oh my goodness!  That looks creepy! Oh, forgive me your majesty,"said Sakura.

"It's fine. Now why don't you stay here for the night and explain your information. By the way my name is Akira Tan,"said the king.

" Okay,"everyone said in a union as they could never deny a kind offer of shelter, especially when it's at a magnificent castle.

" Princess Kagura! We have some guests! Please come and escort them to their room,"yelled king Akira.

" Yes father,"replied a beautiful voice. As the door slid open, Princess Kagura could be seen. Her elegance and ravishing beauty was beyond compare. She had long, silky, smooth dark brown hair that fell down her back. Her eyes were a nice shade of emerald green. On top of that her lips were bright red which emphasized her white, fair skin.

" Hello, everyone. I am princess Kagura. I will escort you to your rooms shortly,"introduced the princess.

" Y-you're a real beauty, ya know,"exclaimed Hiro as he winked at the princess who blushed in response.

" Hiro! You don't talk to royalty like that,"growled Ayame.

" Oi, you didn't even bow down to the king, you have no right to accuse me,"snapped Hiro.

" Hey, that was different,"exclaimed Ayame.

"You guys! Chill! You're going to embarrass yourselves,"said Kai.

What will they do now that the king has agreed to hear them out? Will Hiro fall in love with princess Kagura for good? Stay tuned to read the next chapter of " Into the Past "!
