* Sakura's pov.*

As my eyes slowly fluttered opened, I stared at the beautiful morning sky. The birds were chirping and the wind rustled the leafs. Wait! If it's the morning, how long have I been unconscious for? Well, I guess that doesn't matter right now.

As I tried to get up, I felt someone's arm wrapped around me preventing me from getting up! Ugh! Who could it be? Slowly, I turned my head, and saw....Aki! My head took a few moments to process what was happening, then I suddenly felt as if my heart skipped a beat. Frozen and astonished, I screamed,"Kyaaaaa! "

Immediately, everyone got up with their weapons ready.

"What happened, Sakura? Where's the enemy,"asked Ayame as she scanned the area.

" What's with all the noise? I was trying to sleep,"complained Hiro as he rubbed his eyes.

"Ah-hahahaha! Actually, there's no-one here. It's just that I was surprised to see ...well, this,"I said as I nervously pointed at Aki who was still asleep.

"Seriously? I had to give up my beauty sleep for this? Ugh! Oh, by the way, last night, you were clinging onto Aki! It was so sweet,"said Ayame with a playful yet devilish smirk.

"I-I-I c-c-can't believe it! I did what now,"I stuttered as I began to blush.

" Yup! You heard me! You were hugging Aki and wouldn't let go! You should've seen yourself! It was priceless,"laughed Ayame.

"Oh my gosh...,"I said before collapsing on the ground.

" I'm so glad cameras weren't invented in the red district era yet,"I sighed with relief.

"Cow - mer what,"said Ayame as she picked her toes.

"Nothing! I'm going to cool my head, okay,"I said as I quickly unwrapped Aki's hands from her waist.

Oh my goodness! I can't believe it! I was clinging onto Aki - my crush?

*Fast forward*

After I cooled my head from the morning incident, we all set out to gather supplies and food. Hiro, the meat lover decided to hunt for meat along with Ayame. Kai decided to gather fresh nuts and herbs. Well, if he went chopping trees for wood, he would be hurting his own kind! As for Aki and I, we went to collect wood from fallen trees and twigs since Kai banned us from hurting tree. A promise is a promise!

Soon, everyone left to gather their materials in a flash. Kai disappeared into sakura petals. Ayame and Hiro did some kind of ninja stuff and 'magically' disappeared.

"Well, I guess we should start gathering stuff too,"I exclaimed as I swung a woven basket that I took from the troops.

" Sure. But first, I need to teach you how to locate the orbs with a special spell,"said Aki.

"Then what about the fire wood,"I asked.

" We have lots of time, chill,"said Aki as he did his signature smile that he did to girls back in modern Japan. How sly! He knew that no one, especially girls cannot resist that innocent smile.

"Fine! But, can't you do that too,"I asked as I made a fire pit.

" Well, for starters, only the destined one can perform this spell,"explained Aki.

"Then why do you know it,"I growled.

"I only know the words, but I can't activate it."

"I see. Can you write it down for me, "I asked.

" I don't think you will know how to read it, but sure."

"What? Of course I'll know how to read it! I aced every reading test,"I exclaimed. Well, no one said I was modest.

Soon, Aki finished writing the words down. The spell was really long! How am I supposed to memorize it?

"Finished,"said Aki.

" That is one long spell,"I said.

" Yup! Now try to read it, Miss. Know It All,"said Aki playfully.

" No problem,"I said as I began to look at the words,"Wait? Is that even japanese?"

"Yes and no. It's what you modern people know as ancient japanese. Which is why I said you won't be able to read it, "sighed Aki.

"Okay! Fine! I get your point! Just teach me the spell already,"I said with fusteration. As soon as Aki saw how fusterated I was, he laughed. Was I that fun to tease? I hope not!

After saying the spell once, I immediately memorized it. It was amazing!

"Okay, we better find some wood now that I learned the spell,"I said as I quickly got up.

" Yeah, no kidding. Ayame would kill us if she found out that we didn't even get one twig,"laughed Aki.

After gathering all the supplies, everyone got back to the camp site. Hiro and Ayame killed countless turkeys and rabbits. "Poor creatures,"I thought. Kai had gather a variety of berries, nuts and herbs that could last us of a year!

"So did you two love birds do anything, "asked Ayame with a huge grin.

"Well, if learning a spell counts, then yes,"I replied.

" Oh gosh! You are not good at entertaining me,"cried Ayame with disbelief, "You were supposed to do something interesting!"

"So now I'm your source of entertainment,"I asked.
