  * Third person perspective *

As the injurious eagle approached faster and faster as the seconds passed by, Sakura, Aki and Hiro cowardly hid under a bush as they dared not the breath. However, the eagle's keen sense of smell out-smarted them and relentlessly soared towards them. It's merciless talons where ready to grip away anyone who was shivering with fear.

You see, that eagle was no ordinary eagle. It was a special breed of eagles that were trained to be able to sense emotions, especially agitation.

Not knowing that, Sakura, Aki and Hiro continued to coward in fear and helplessness. However, being the daughter of the chief of all ninjas, Ayame jumped out and pulled out her meteorite sword which she had covered in a special herb to knock out the eagle's nose.

" Guys, don't show the eagle that your cowards! The eagle only preys on the weak! Idiots,"screamed Ayame as she dashed towards the eagle.

" B-but,  I feel so safe here. No eagle, no wind, just warmth and comfort and....,"whined Aki as he glanced up at the eagle and shivered.

"Ugh! Suit yourself,"yelled Ayame as she prepared to slash the eagle.

The two fought head to head, and talon to sword it was epic!

" Sakura, aren't you great destined one," asked Ayame as she continued to fend off the eagle,"Do something! "

" I-I-I c-c-can't! I don't know how I triggered it earlier," stuttered Sakura as she looked at her hands with disbelief.

"Okay, fine then! How about some help here Hiro," huffed Ayame as she continued to swing her sword like a master swordsman.

" But you're doing fine babe," complained Hiro. "Think of it as the ninja exam you took last year!"

"Why, thanks Hiro! That was really helpful," said Ayame sarcastically as she rolled her eyes.

" You're welcome," smirked Hiro as he looked up at Ayame.

  Ayame and the eagle clashed on and on. As Ayame began to deliever the final strike, th sound of a bamboo flute could be heard. Then suddenly, the eagle stopped fighting and a sleek, tall girl can into view.

" Who are you? Are the owner of this nuisance," growled Ayame as she sheathed her sword.

" I'm Luna of the tree clan and this is Obi,  my eagle. Oh, and for the record, he is not a nuisance!  He was just hunting for our dinner," explained Luna as Ayame glared.

"Well, for your information,  your damm eagle was about to eat US for dinner, " exclaimed Ayame as she spat on the ground.

" Well,  I sorry. Ummm...I heard that you were going to find the orbs to stop the war,  and I really want to join you guys," said Luna in a sweet tone as she pleaded Hiro with she watery eyes.

" I don't think so. You're so suspicious and...," Ayame tried to say, however,  Hiro immediately said,"A hot girl like you, unlike Ayame, on our team? Sure!"

" Well then? Welcome Luna to our group," said Sakura with a sigh as she looked at Ayame apologetically.

After Luna joined, Hiro took off with his arms on Luna's shoulder.

"Ugh! What was the block head thinking? They just met! How could he be soooo friendly with her, " exclaimed Ayame as she rubbed two sticks together to create a campfire.

"I know that you don't like Luna because of the in code, but come on! She didn't an it! Loosen up Ayame,"said Sakura.

"I'm still not convinced. Well, if she turns out to be evil....I TOLD YOU SO,"shouted Ayame so loud that Hiro and Luna came running back to see what had happened.

  " What happened," asked Hiro.

  " Nothing at all," replied Ayame, "Now go fetch some wood, would ya?"

"Okay, whatever you want madam," sighed Hiro as he began to walk away.

After Hiro left, Luna walked up to Aki and said,"Ummm...Aki, can I talk to you? I really want to...Well, know you better cos' I've admired you for a long time," while twirling her raven hair.

"Oh, ummm...sure," said Aki as he looked at Sakura for approval. However, Sakura wasn't looking as she was too busy helping Ayame.

"Okay, let's go,"hurried Luna.

After they walked away, Ayame exclaimed, " See! Now she's taking Aki from you Sakura!"

"Ummm...are you sure your okay Ayame?  They're just talking right? I think......I hope," replied Sakura as she started to go gather food.

" Yeah, I'm fine! And, I just hope you're right,"said Ayame as she sharpened her sword.
