Adrika's POV

       He was just trying to get into my head. Then why couldn't I shove him away? Why I was so helpless around him? Why I couldn't yell at him to not to touch me? Get yourself together. I couldn't let this happen.. I felt his right arm around my waist, he pulled me to him while kissing. That was the last straw for me. I put my hands on his bare chest to push him but suddenly, like a flash I saw something. Like a vague dream... A memory. I was sucked into that memory.
 
      It was her. Adrika. She was standing at a corner. It was retro. There was a syringe in her hand. What was that? She was crying like... She looked heartbroken. She was ready to take that injection. I was trying to yell at her to stop.

"First time?" Someone said. I felt  him walk through me. Juro.. He was looking as simply dressed as always.

"None of your business." She said.

"You are right. But just so you know this never works." Juro said.

"Why do you care?"

"I don't. Trust me I don't. But I can sense things. You are feeling world is ending for you. Everything is seeming like a big mistake. You want to forget what you know now... You want to go back where you didn't know. But trust me, that liquid in that syringe won't give you the oblivion you are seeking."

     I looked at him, there was care in his voice. Tenderness in his eyes. He desperately wanted to help her. She was crying and looking at him with uncertainty. He stretched his hand out to take that syringe. She reluctantly gave it to him and sat down.

"What should I do?"

"Go.. Face your problem. Give it a last push. Just one last. You are a beautiful person. You deserve everything that is good. You deserve to be happy, loved and cared for. If your present isn't like that then there no fault of yours. If your world isn't filled with love for you then maybe that's not the real world."

"What if I fail?"

"I'm leaving this syringe right here. Hidden. If tomorrow end of the day you still think you need this then come and take it. I won't be there tomorrow....."

        Juro's voice fade and I knew that I was going into another memories. The place was same but Adrika was looking different. She was looking fresh and better than before. She waited for a long time. I knew she was waiting for Juro. And he came.

"You are back.." Juro said.

"So do you. Came to stop me again?"

"Sorry.. Just wanted to make sure."

"Don't worry.. I won't take the drug. I'm here to meet you."

"Meet me?"

"I wanted to know who had the stability to control the storm in me."

"You were vulnerable. I just pulled you of the ledge."

"I would have done that for anyone in your place." This time even I didn't understood what she said.

"What?" Juro asked.

"You didn't say that you would have done the same it was someone else."

"Because I wouldn't have. I saw your powers. The rain... It was hitting your face. You changed the direction of it with a wave of your hand."

"I didn't change the direction of rain genius. I changed the direction of wind flow."

"Why didn't you just stopped the rain?"

"In rain, no one can see my tears..... ..... "
         That was their first meet. They didn't just knew each other. They were friends. Then why no one knew about it. I was again in another memories. This time it wasn't vague.. It was very realistic. It wasn't glitchy like the last ones. I was at Nora's. I saw them sitting at a corner.

"Trust me Adrika.. You don't want to know. Go home. Talk to him make him listen." He said.

"I can't talk to him without knowing what I don't know.. Juro you have to tell me."

"Bethany is the woman his family wanted him to marry. And the man with them.. He.. He is a divorce attorney."

     I felt like someone punched me in the gut. Everyone always said it was a perfect marriage. How could he do this..

"Then there is nothing to talk.."

"No.. You have to try.. It's your marriage too Adrika. Sky just can't take the decision to end it all by himself."

"Yah I will get a say so. In justice system. But do you think I CAN stay in that kind of marriage? Do you think I SHOULD stay?"

"That's the love of your life."

"Or just so I thought."

       I so wanted to get out of that memories. Seeing her betrayed by the one she loved the most was physically painful for me. But the worst one was still there. I sucked into that. I didn't recognise the place. It was a massive room. Maybe Juro's home. Adrika was looking miserable. Like she just came out of a thunderstorm of emotions. She wasn't herself. Her powers were slipping. She was a complete and utter mess. Juro came running into that room. He was looking extremely concerned.

"Adrika what happened?"

"Am... Everything is... It's all over Juro." She said sitting still.

"No.. It's not. You are going through a rough patch. It will blow over." Juro said sitting down to her level. Suddenly she grabbed his collar and pulled him closer.

"This close. I saw them this close. I never thought of anyone to be with me except him.. But.. How easily he did all that was sacred in our marriage..." I sat down on the floor.. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I saw Juro yanked himself from her.

"You must have mistaken.. Sometimes things aren't always what it appears."

"Am I not the same woman he fell in love with...? It wasn't only his child. I lost him too. How could he.." She stood up and went to him.

"Adrika.. " He stopped as she hold his hand and put it on her neck. I knew she wasn't in her complete senses.

"Touch me... Am I not warm enough.. Soft enough.. Beautiful enough.. Don't look down Juro.. Look at me.. Please.. Am I not the same woman who he thought was the most beautiful.. Most complete woman.. I'm not complete now.. But did it change everything.. Please tell me Juro.. Am I unlovable now.."

      I watched their physical struggle. I saw an insanity of loosing the love of her life in Adrika. And Juro.. He was so desperately trying to help her but not fall for her. I saw love in his eyes. He was trying not to look at her. Touch her. She couldn't continue anymore and fall down crying. They stayed like this for a long time. Then Adrika stood up and started walking away. My eyes were following her so I couldn't see Juro running after her. He hold her to the nearest wall. Both me and Adrika were shocked. She wasn't that much because of the emotional hurricane she was feeling.

"You will find love again.. In me.. I don't care how long it takes. How far I have to go." He said.

        I could feel the desperation in his voice. Looked at her for a second and crashed his lips on hers. I saw her crying even louder but her hands rose up to the back of his neck. It was the moment I was pulled out from those memories to reality. In that crappy motel room, on the window glass, in the arms of the man of those memories. This time I pushed him away with all my force. He stumbled back but caught himself. The memories I saw made me light headed. I couldn't stand anymore. He was coming near to help me but I held my hand out to stop him.

"Don't come near me..." I said.

"You remember me. You remember my touch. You remember the feelings we have for.."

"Just stop talking.. Please.. Just stop.. This isn't happening.. It's not.." I just wanted him to vanish into thin air. Wishing so badly that I could unseen those things that I just saw. I couldn't even look at him.

"There won't be any good if I do. You saw my memories Adrika. You feel it. How would you explain the attraction you feel around me? How will you explain the vulnerability of losing control with me? While with me you forget everything else. How would you explain that?"

"He is my husband."

"Not yours. That's the point. You are not the one who married sky. Maybe in a different world a different man. But you died there, didn't you? In this world. In this time you are free. That's why she went through all those pain. To wake you in hers." He said. I looked up. He sat on his knees in front of him.

"You know me?" I asked.

"No. But I know what you are. A celestial being. A Prakriti Kanya. You fall in love once in a life time. That's it. They became your soul mate. You have to die to love another one. The soul need to destroyed to be free to be in love again." He said.

"She told you that?"

"She did. After Sky's.. After what happened that evening. She knew she couldn't stay in that marriage. She loved me. It did took a long time. I was worried that after the grief is over, she will not be with me like  she did. But she stayed. She controlled herself and started researching of other worlds. Parallel universes. I didn't understand at first. She said she loved me, then why go to this length. You are supposed to stay with the person you love. This wasn't supposed to be hard."

"Celestial rules.. We are bound to it. It must cost her physical pain after that kiss you shared. It happens. You can't fall in love beyond your soulmate."

       I said remembering everytime I felt a strong disgust and pain when the jokes Dristadyumn made about us being together. I loved him. It's true but I loved my husband and my soul was bound to him. Maybe it was little easier for Adrika because Sky betrayed her. Maybe that's why she could imagine a life without him. With someone else.

"She found a way. You."

"This isn't.. It's not making any sense. How could he.. The soulmate of a celestial being doesn't feel that way for them. It's almost unheard of." I was just trying to be in denial. Because I didn't wanted to believe Sky betrayed her.

"I will be a lamb and say you had your perfect love in the first man you ever loved. Not everyone is lucky as you." He said.

          I didn't know what to feel. That was a lot to process. In one side was the truth I just saw and on the other the people I have been living with. The relationship that been formed. The friendship and help of those around me. They didn't know about Juro. Then there was a chance they didn't know about the relationship curve of Sky and Adrika too. But I couldn't decide what to think. Who to believe. Did I want to believe Juro.. Because of Sky's behavior? The way he treated Adrika around his family? His mood swings? Why he was pretending to help then? Was it because now a days everyone were around us? He didn't want to tell everyone about the sourness in his marriage? For the world he wanted to stay as a perfect couple? There was swarms of questions in my mind and there wasn't any answers. There wasn't much time left for dawn. Juro didn't bother me after that. Maybe he also knew it was lot to take in. Or maybe it was the drugs that still made him sleep. Vanessa came to give Juro's T-shirt she took for washing. She got me some coffee too. It was dawn when Juro woke up. I checked his blood for drugs with the drug test kit Vanessa managed to get. It was there but was not any threat. He was looking at me with expecting eyes, waiting for me to say something.

"I texted our address to Leo. He is coming with someone from your people. He knows about all this. But don't worry he won't tell anyone. I told him to bring you some potions for this. I can check upon you in two days if you want." I said still doing my job of checking his pulse. Temperature. I was avoiding eye contact.

"They will be here any minute. You should get dressed. Vanessa washed your t-shirt at night. It will be comfortable now."

"Are you trying to avoid talking to me about us by saying these things that I could care less about?" He asked.

"I'm going to washroom. Get ready.."

      I said before going into that tiny bathroom. I didn't came out until I got a text from Leo that he was there. Juro was sitting on the bed ready. I went to the mirror and tried not to look like a mess. We silently came out. Leo was outside the motel with the man from Juro's. They came in one car. Fair enough, I took his ride. Vanessa came to me. I hugged her and thanked her for everything with some money. We walked out and Leo jogged to us.

"Juro.. Hi.. I wish we met in a different  circumstances." Leo said.

"Me too Leonard. I wish I was in a better shape." Juro said and to my surprise they hugged each other. It was their first meeting.

"At least you are ok Brother. Ree got me worried sick."

"I was pretty hammered last night. I owe my life to her."

"I'm glad she was with you."

"Leonard can you give me a second here? I want to talk to Adrika." I was wishing for Leo to say no.

"Sure.. Ree I will bring the car."

        He said before taking the keys and leaving. I stood there looking down. I didn't want to look at him. I felt him stepping closer to me. He hold my hand and bent down so that our foreheads were touching.

"Look at me.." He demanded. I shook my head as no. "Don't try too hard to deny Adrika.. Try accepting. It's easier and will make sense to you." I hold my breath to keep me still. He hold the back of my neck to keep my head still.

"You can't run from me. Because all you want is to run towards me."

         He said before kissing my forehead and stepping back. I stood there until Leo came. I walked to my car. Before stepping in I looked at him. He was still looking at me.

didn't react or I did, I had no idea. He was still standing there when Leo drove off.

"You ok?" He asked.

"Are you? You behaved like you two known each other for a long time." I said.

"No I didn't."

"You did."

"No I didn't."

          I didn't wanted anything else to talk about. My head was pounding. The sleeplessness, anxiety and all those new information was enough to drove me crazy. I stopped talking and Leo knew better not no ask me anything. When we reached home, we went inside. Maddy, Emma, Aadi and Sky were there. Sky came to me and tried to hold my shoulder. I stepped back. I instantly sensed the tension in the room. But the things that happened. The things I saw made me really confused about what I feel about everything. Before anyone could ask me anything I went straight to my room and locked the door. The moment I stepped away from people my anxiety started to work. I started to having a panic attack. The scenes I had seen, the things I felt in that room was dancing in my head. I still could feel his hands on me. My clothes still had the smell of his cologne. Everything was messy right now. And I needed a lot of time to process all this.

General POV

         Everyone were waiting to see her by the hall because she supposed to be home early the previous night. They only got a message from Leo that both of them were busy and would spend the night at The Bubbling Cauldron. They all tried to call her but she didn't picked up. It made them a little worried. But when she showed up, they were on instant panic. She was clearly very disturbed. Her demeanor was odd. She was absentminded, wasn't making eye contact. She wasn't even looked at Aadi. Sky went to her to see if she was ok. She flinched away from him. Like in one single night she had developed a hatred for him. Sky was familiar with her anger. Hell he caused it a lot of time but this.. He was really shocked and hurt at it. When she ran into her room locked the door, all eyes were turned to Leo. He was visibly nervous. He knew things and he knew that he can't say it to anyone.

"What was that Lee?" Sky asked.

"Umm.. She had a rough and long night.. In the lab. Must be tired." He said.

"She isn't tired honey. She is upset. What happened yesterday? Did you two fight?" Emma asked.

"No.. Darling.. Why would we fight... Just give her some time she will be fine. We didn't get a wink to sleep last night. And didn't get any significant results on potion too. We both are frustrated. It's just tiredness. And frustration." Leo said.

"I should check on her." Mads said but Aadi stopped him.

"I don't think it's a good idea. She need her alone time. Let her come out on her own then she will tell us everything."

         Maddy sat down with him. He trust his judgement. This new friendship between Aadi and Mads had been a topic of curiosity among them too. After a while they heard Dean's voice.

"I hope we are not late for breakfast.. We got pie from Nora's."

       The Winchester brothers stayed at paradise last night. They gathered some information about the witch that could perform similar kind of spell they were searching for. After interrogation of the witch it was very late for them to return to the city. They just stayed the place Adrika told them was their home. One look at everyone and their smiling faces were history.

"What's going on guys?" Sam asked.

"Yah.. Why the long faces?" Dean asked.

"Mumma is in her room after a long night of supposedly research with Uncle Leo. They are worried about her." Aadi said. Dean looked at them frustrated. Sam gave a understanding look.

"What do you mean by 'supposedly research'?" Dean asked.

"Because Maa thinks, uncle Leo is lying." He replied.

"Atta boy.." Emma said proudly.

"Ok genius, now shut up." Dean said to Aadi, because clearly he was increasing tension for Mads and Sky.

"But Uncle Dean.." Aadi protested..

"Kid..! Go help Uncle Sammy in kitchen." Dean said to him. Aadi threw his hand up in frustration before going with Sam.

"Teenagers!" Dean shook his head. "Ok..now.. She must be exhausted from all night of work. And honestly guys, you all can be very irritating to deal with sometimes."

"Yah.. That's what I was saying." Leo said.

"I'll go fix you all some breakfast. We can't rely on those two geeks in the kitchen." Dean said walking away.

        Now everyone were happy to have the brothers around. They were this fresh breeze for them. They both were warm and comforting. Adrika on the other hand oblivious to all that was trying to calm down. Her mind was overloaded. She decided that she need help. She picked up her phone and called.

"Dear Adrika.. What a surprise!" Acton's voice said.

"You know who I'm and I know you are from that era. There are things you know that I don't. I want to ask you something.. Answer this while keeping in mind the truth you know about me." She said in a cold voice.

"Are you alright my girl?"

"Is it possible for me and Juro to have a romantic relationship?"

"Juro... Did he said something to you?"

"Please answer.. Should it be logical.." She asked.

"I would have given my blessing if it ever even be considered?" He said.

"Thank you.." Adrika cut the call. She trust Acton to believe he won't give a bad advice to her. After the call was ended, Acton looked into the phone and said.

"I'm sorry Adrika.. But maybe having you will make him walk away from his destructive plans."
