Adrika's Dad shocked and scared everyone except for Krishn. They expected to them to be powerful but power can have a face like that they didn't imagine. Even Adrika didn't blink for couple of seconds.

"Holy shit... What in the name of lord was that.. " Dean said.

"It's just his real face. Don't need to drag my name through that." Krishn said amusingly.

"Krishn.. The boy is shaken up. There is time for your I'm the god jokes." Nivedita said.

"Sorry Kakisa.." Krishn said.

"Did you just apologize to Adrika's mom?" Sam asked with a smile.

"The only force I am vulnerable to are mothers. Aur ye to meri kakima hain." Krishn said.
(And after all she is my aunt)

"In our joint family culture... Kakima are the one that spoils you. Cover ups your mistakes. Saves you from punishments."

"Kaki bhavi.. These are the women who came into the household in front of your eyes. They are the new members so eventually they got close with the youngest members. Because they won't judge them for their mistakes. I was too familiar for chhote kumar but I remember how Subhadra and Aarya used to be. You can never turn one on another... Good I miss them." Adrika said. Her mother hold her in a side hug.

"Now those very memories are threatened by Ashwatthama." Mads said.

"Ashwatthama it is then.. Eh
? I knew I never liked the man." Adrika's Dad Suryavir said.

"So what he wants?" Nivedita asked.

           They all recited their whole life until now in front of them. Suryavir and Nivedita looked positively tensed towards the ending. And rightly so. They have been informed that a century old evil immortal is in a love hate relationship with their daughter. He wants her unborn child. Any parents would be positively horrified. After the story ends they all sat in silence. It gave both of them to digest what they  heard. After that Suryavir said,

"So the next course of action will be, finding out what exactly this Juro wants from Adri's child and how to kill the son of a bitch."

"Kill? Dad he just wants the curse removed. We can help him." Adrika said.

"Sweetie this all curing the devil works on fantasy only. In real life, there is no cure for evil. You just need to ice the devil." Suryavir said taking a gulp of beer.

"I like him. But how do we plan to ice this devil? In case you didn't notice, the immortal ones are not exactly the dying type." Dean said.

"Everything dies Dean. Everything. You just need the right weapon."

Suryavir said while dusting the ash from his cigarette. He was smoking and drinking at the same time. Dean looked absolutely smitten by him. He turned to his brother and said,

"Dude, he smokes in a cool way, he drinks beer and he is a badass. He is basically the 2.0 version of me."

"No he is not. He is an ancient powerful being, you are just a douche." Sam said.

"Yah whatever Sammy!" Dean said.

Everyone smiled at their banter before Leo saying.

"That's what we are initially here for Sir! As for Krishn you are the only people who can figure this out about what can he possibly want from Rika's child."

"A child between yugas that is new to us as well Leonard. I mean just imagine how powerful it will be conceived in one yuga and born in another." Suryavir said.

"But something tells me Kakisa knew about this." Krishn said.

"Mumma...!" Adrika turned to her mother, Nivedita looked at her then Krishn and said,

"Yah, I have heard of it. It's works same as blood curse. Generation after generation. Until the same blood flows through, the curse follows. Eventually when the blood gets too thin the curse wears off. Maybe same principle works in curing powerful curses."

"So you are saying the blood of the curse giver can cure the curse?... That can actually work.. Sometimes the antidote remains in the virus itself. Brilliant." Leo said.

"Curse giver or his/her descendant. Until the blood is thick. It can work. Maybe after so many generation the Adrika here doesn't't had that blood in her, the blood isn't thick enough for it to be a cure." Nivedita said.

"Adrika here is the descendant of Prativindhya right... The adoptive son. The blood isn't same from that generation itself." Sam offers.

"That's true... Maybe that's why he wanted an real, actual descendant with pure blood. What would have been better than the offspring itself." Leo said.

"Hy geniuses... There is an important thing you guys are missing... Adrika didn't gave the curse. Krishn did. Why he is coming after Adrika's child if he wants the curse giver's blood." Dean said over the chattering brainiacs.

"Sometimes when the curse comes from emotions not malice, curse givers doesn't matter much. It's the reason that matters." Nivedita said.

"Exactly and see that even makes more sense. Krishn gave the curse because of Adrika. But Adrika was dead by then. So he could not get her blood. Right now her conscious is here but the body is of today's Adrika. So her blood is useless. Unless it's the child. It has Adrika's blood. Real Adrika's blood." Leo explained.

"Unhum... Uncle Leo aren't you forgetting something...? I have my mother's blood." Aadi said.

"Do you think what I'm thinking?" Leo asked Nivedita. Both being immensely knowledgeable in magic immediately clicked. Just as Adrika always said to Leo.

"I think so... Dear are you virgin?" Nivedita asked Aadi.

"Mumma... "
"Grandma... "
"Nivedita... " Adrika, Aadi and Suryavir yelled at the same time.

"Why do I have these shy idiots as family... The blood need to be innocent to work. If Aadi doesn't have his innocence by then his blood won't work." Nivedita said.

"Kakisa.. I think a different kind of innocence is at the play here. As Aadi still remain pure, he killed people. The kid survived a war." Krishn said.

"Yah... That will do too..! Sorry honey! In magic word we normally go there when we talk about purity." Nivedita said.

"What about his sister?" Emma said.

"Vritika was hit by Bramhastra! It's clear indication that something broke in you. You are not as pure as you supposed to be. So her blood won't work too.. " Mads said.

"But why he didn't try for Aadi or the girl's children is a mystery!" Suryavir said.

"Maybe we won't have kids!" Aadi said.

"Why would you say that! Of course you will have kids. A lot of them." Emma said.

"It's just a hypothetical situation Maa..." Aadi tried to defend himself.

"Don't say it. Even if hypothetically. These kind of things get zinksed really easy." Emma said dismissively.

"Clearly we don't have all the answers. " Sam said.

"And the answers that we have are purely based on maybes. We are against the biggest evil till the date, so maybes don't work here. We need absolutes." Mads said.

"Dristadyumn didn't lost his passion for perfect planning..." Krishn said.

"I'm Mads." Mads said.

"Ok Maddie.. He is right though. Kakisa you have to give us absolutes. We can't face Juro with just maybes." Krish said. Nivedita did not say anything.

"Mumma... Are you alright?" Adrika asked.

"Yah.. I'm just.. " Nivedita could not say anything.

"When you live for eternity sometimes it gets a bad toll on you. Your mother and I faced the evil of the dark world in our quest of core knowledge of magic. For this day. If situation like this arises we can have all the answer to help you beta." Suryavir said.

"These kind of evil tend to leave their Mark. I dwell in dark arts way too much. My soul is weak to resist its temptation anymore." Nivedita said.

"What exactly you are trying to say... " Dean asked.

Nivedita looked at him then suddenly her face changed. Way terrifying than Suryavir. She said in a darkened voice to match her face,

"I'm saying if I go to the Infernal world looking for answer maybe something else might return in my place." Then her face came to normal "and trust me, you don't want that."

"Then we will find another way to go to this... This... What did you say infernal?" Dean as though very shaken still manage to say.

"Dark magic. The magic that required powers from the hell." Leo clarified.

"Honey.. Can't you do that? You know as you don't usually go their, your soul must have the strength to resist it." Emma said. Leo looked at Nivedita.

"In theory he can, if he is a great wizard I can teach him and he can master it in hours." Nivedita said.

"He is. He is great at magic. He has been doing a lot of stuff that are very critical to do lately." Aadi said.

"There is a 'but' coming kid!" Sam said to Aadi looking at Nivedita.

"But.... As he never been there he won't find his ways easily. Either he will stay too long or lost his way back. In either case we will loose him." She said.

"I'll go." Suryavir said.

"No Dad.. It's too risky for you." Adrika said.

"Less than your Mom at least. And I haven't gone to infernal more often. So there is more chances of me to come back." Suryavir said. "And when you were trusted to me I swear that I would do anything for you."

"But that's not I want... Why doesn't anyone understand... I don't want anyone to sacrifice for me." Adrika yelled. "I don't want Sky to feel obligated for me. I don't want Leo and Emma to leave their life behind and follow me. I don't want Dean and Sam to risk their life for me. I don't want Aadi to time travel for me... I don't want anyone to risk their life for me... Everything is happening.. I can't stop it... I will get mad.. I'm loosing my sense in this... Why could not I just stay dead..!"

          Everyone were silence. They have been with her on their own will they thought it's perfectly normal but surly no one thought this from her perspective. She has been in guilt of risking everyone's life and it has been eating her alive.

"But it's worth it Adrika... You are worth it." Sky said. Finally, first time in a while. She looked up to him. "We have been with you because we love you. We believe it's our fight too. Even if our Adrika isn't there, we would still do this for you because you would do the exact thing if it were any of us in your place." He came to her, and sat on his knee in front of her chair. She let him hold her both hands.

"No one screwed up more with you than me Adrika, and still you are here doing everything to help me. My wife. The guilt that making you restless is not what any of us can do anything about, but we can only assure you that you, your quest isn't a burden on us. It's not that we are forced to do. But we choose to." Sky said. Adrika looked him in the eye with tearful gaze.

"I'm so sorry it happened to you Sky. I'm so sorry your life became such a mess. I was angry when I said you are the reason why it is happening. I wasn't being fair to you. Your wife didn't do it because of you. She didn't do it for the child." Adrika said shocking everyone.

"Wait what.... " Dean said.

"I know.. My wife would have kill me if she thought I was distancing from her. She could never do this because of a child. She was devastated about not being able to have a kid but she wasn't a child person Adrika." Sky said with a slight smile.

"Then why did you took it? Why didn't you say anything?" Adrika asked.

"Because even if she didn't do it because of me, I didn't behaved accordingly. She told Leo to help you, she already had Maddie protecting her. But she didn't explained anything to me. Because my wife had a blind faith on me. She knew the moment you say that she did it herself. I would not need any other reason to help you in anyway possible. She knew as  the part of her I will do everything that she would have if she was here. But look at me I decided to be a jerk and a whiny brat to you. So even if you were wrong there wasn't anything you did that I didn't deserve." Sky said. "You maybe the balance of everything but my wife was pure fire. Truth be told you kind of reminded me of her, when you were angry." Adrika smiled a little. Sky laughed before saying, "You are amazing Adrika. What you didn't do for everyone. Now that we need to pay some back, you are stopping us. That's not fair. If this is the end of the world, do you think we are that big of jerks to sit back and do nothing?" Adrika shook her head.

"I have always said, you are nothing like my Nakul. But you are. And in more than looks. Same love, same devotion. I promised my husband in the next life he will be part of my struggle. If this is that life. I'm happy he is a part of my struggle. As you." Adrika said.

"Well this is cute and all but go back to How Adrika didn't do it because of him?" Dean asked.

"She knew about Juro. She knew rven if she doesn't conjure me, he will wait for another Yuga if he have to, to manipulate the next prakriti kanya to do what she did. At least she knew the stakes. She had powerful friends. Friends that could protect me until I understand everything. She thought what if the next prakriti kanya doesn't have the protection that she could give me. She is a clever, clever person. She planned everything. Maybe it was her revenge on Juro." Adrika said.

"What revenge?" Sky asked.

"Sky, Juro killed your unborn child. "

"What?"

"Yes. And I think Adrika knew this."

"It wasn't an accident. He killed my.. He killed it. Why?"

"To make Adrika desperate for a child. But he didn't count on Adrika to not being a baby person to begin with. He underestimated her in a long long shot." Adrika said.

"How do you know all this?" Emma asked.

"The day when we met Juro at the hospital, before he called me on stage there was a little boy he was talking to. The kid's eyes, it spoke something. Like he knew me. So I asked a doctor about him. Turned out Adrika knew him. He was there when she was treated after her miscarriage... " Adrika asked.

"We did took her to Paradise Valley... It was the nearest. And Adrika did befriended a child cancer patient." Sky said.

"Juro went to Adrika's room through that kid. And thinking she was asleep..." Adrika was cut by Dean.

"Did his evil monologue and spilled out his plan?"

"He did. The chronology of the after events maybe went down like this, Adrika knew who and what Juro is and decided that she will do it. Then she asked Leo to help me when she is successful without any questions asked. She met Juro and act just as he wanted. Then she met professor Yen and learned about paradox theory. She also asked the professor to help me when I go to him. She sent Sky to the divorce councilor to make Juro believe her even more. She even let some of her memories surfaced so that it will help me navigate all around." Adrika explained shocking everyone. "I called the councilor's private office to see who got the appointment. It was Adrika, not Sky."

"So all this time when we thought you are vulnerable, you are fragile. When we thought we are helping you.. You were doing all that. You were completely being the legendary Queen Adrika?" Emma asked.

"Well, I am pretty much freaked out as I showed but I needed to level my head to understand everything and deceive the great deceiver. He needed to look at me as weak and stranded. And I'm sorry Sky.. What ever I did with you was pretence. Even today. I know you are a good husband I had you as my friend once, having you with me once again means a lot to me." She said looking down at Sky. He got up to hug her. "I'm so sorry... Please forgive me."

"I was never mad at you." Sky said.

"Wow... My best friend is not an Idiot.. I'm sorry Sky.. I abandoned you too." Emma said in a fake crying voice.

"We all did Sorry brother.." Leo said.

"As we are taking the apologies out of the way.. I'm also sorry Dude.. I have been too harsh on you. You put food in front of me, clothed my ungrateful ass.. Sorry." Dean said.

"Me too.."  Sam said.

"Ok.. Guise.. Stop apologizing. Everyone. And Sam what you even apologizing for? You were never disrespectful to me. You always supported me even. And I'm not mad at anyone." Sky said still holding Adrika's hand.

"Take the apologies Sky... People don't apologize because of mistake, they apologize because of guilt. If you don't accept their apologies their guilt won't go away." Krishn said.

"I accept your apology." He said giving Adrika's hands a squeeze. Then looked up to all of them. "All of yours too.."

"When did you know all this Adrika?" Sam said.

"I knew this from the beginning Sam.. It was a feeling but when Maddie kiss... I mean when I know Maddie is Dristadyumn. It just clicked." Adrika said.

"You kissed her.. " Suryavir tried to whisper to Maddie.

"It was the only way to make her remember... Sorry!" Mads said.

"If you were not my disciple, I would have rip your throat out right now." Suryavir said.

"Your Adrika is amazing... She did everything meticulously. Without her planning I would have been captive by Juro a long time ago. " Sky nodded and got up. "Still we don't have much leverage over him. If only we could find out what he is going to do with my child."

"That's why I need to go to the infernal soon. Otherwise we will never find out." Suryavir said.

"We will.. And no one is going to the dark world. Adrika maybe this is why I'm here. You know what the one thing I do best.. Research." Sam said.

"You can trust my Geek Brother on that." Dean said making everyone laugh.

"Sir give me a library, a laptop and some time. I'll find you a way." Sam Sam to Suryavir who then looked at Adrika and his wife. They both nodded.

"48 hours Sammy! Then we are doing things my way. "

       It was an order. After that they all get comfortable there. After a long time they were safe. For now. Unknown to the fact that. Things were going to be way dangerous from now on.

It was an important chapter. A lot has came out in this. A lot of questions were clarified. A lot of new information. I will give everyone the time to digest that. Until the next chapter.
