Mads's POV

       Why it happens that you could not help the only person you care too much for? Why could not you hold them close and say you will make everything alright? Why dynamics around that only person is always so puzzled? Why I was not allowed to lay my heart out in front of the only woman I ever loved? I was waiting for this to happen for a long time. When this was finally happening, why it was hurting so much? Maybe because she was confused, scared and miserable and I couldn't bear it. She thought she was all alone and I wanted her to know she wasn't. I was waiting ages here for her. This was the time.. Place where she was mine. I was angry at her to not running into my arms. I was angry at someone else to forbid me to tell her the truth. I remembered calling him the day she woke up.

"Hello my old friend..." His voice was playful. I rolled my eyes.

"Seriously Krishn.. Is it necessary for you to joke around everytime we talk?" I said.

"You are the only person I have with who I can be myself Mads.. Or should I call you Dris..." I cut him.

"Shut up... Don't call me that. If until she recognize me I have to be Mads then I want her to be the one who calls me that first. Not you." He chuckled.

"Who loves her more Mads.. You or Nakul?" He asked me.

"You." I said. Because I knew I could not compete with Krishn.

"Is she awake?" He asked.

"Yes. You are coming?"

"I need to see her. It's been ages old friend. I need to see my behna. She is my tranquility." He said.

"I haven't met her yet. But.." I was cut by him.

"Remember... You can't say who you are. She need to remember you."

"I know. That was the condition you set for me to be here. With her." I said with greeted teeth.

"Come on Maddy.. Don't be a child. I didn't make the rules. And its for Adrika's safety. Who knows what effect her mind had after this astral travel." He said.

"It's not about Adrika, it's about you. You don't trust me. You never did." I said.

"Yes. I didn't trust you for my sister. But she loved you. And I trust her. I know you can kill and die for her. But I don't trust you to make smart decision. You are way too passionate for her. So do your job. Her companionship was your wish and her safety was your goal. Untill she comes to you just do that much." He said.

        I didn't know how much was right but I didn't argue. I did what he told. I stayed with her to hold her hand when she tripped and shield her when she was in danger. Every second of everyday I had this feeling that suddenly she would remember and call me by my name. And at the end of everyday I was disappointed. She was close to me now. She trust me but she still think of me as Mads. Today when we met the two brothers, Adrika knew them. How? How could she knew them not me. Things she knew about everything. How? Like how to drive a car, a house in new hope, about computers. I didn't know these when I was here for the first time. I expected her to not know either. Then I started suspecting things, that my time in mahabharat wasn't originally her time. Everyone knew that she was from a far away land. Slowly I realized, it wasn't a far away land, it was a far away time. Centuries in future. That was why she was so different. Her thoughts, way of seeing everything was so different. I asked Krishn about it. Although he didn't gave me any good explanation, he didn't deny it. Today not only the two brothers, I heard about her life too. I get to know the truth about the woman of my heart. She was a surgeon from 2019. A devotee of Krishn. Thought of him as a brother. Unknown of the fact that she was a prakritikanya. She came to our world and changed it for better. I sat out side look up to see stars.

"Nakul.. Can you hear me?.. If you do.. I know our love better than you now. It's no big deal though, doesn't feel like a victory without you mate. She is ok. Your doppelganger is kind of a git. But she has me. You lucky duck got your peace with her death because in next birth you will have her. When she is dead of course. I bet you didn't count on that she will wake up here. Yah.. Krishn.. I hate him too. But he is kind of everything we left here so gotta deal with him. I don't believe myself saying it, but.. I wish you were here brother." I said.

        I sat in silence before I heard a soft scream from inside and ran in. It was Emma's voice. As I ran to her I saw her hands were clasping her mouth with both hands as she was looking at something. I followed her eyes and in front of me was the most beautiful scene ever. I saw Adrika as she truly was. She was standing in front of Dean with one hand on his heart another to her. And she was magnificent. Her body was beautiful leaf green. Her hair was vines with flowers and butterflies and hummingbirds. She was weaing flowers as dress. And they both were glowing in green light. It seemed like we were watching Prakriti as a woman. They both were standing in a forest. There was an actual forest around them. Maybe Adrika made it with her powers but as it seemed only she and Dean could touch it. Dean was as happy as a child. He was trying to catch the falling orange leaves of trees while standing as still as possible. I walked around them. Her eyes were closed like she was concentrating on something, she was smiling. I never saw her like this. And if Nakul saw her in this form often then I'm officially jealous of him. She opened her eyes and looked at Dean who was also smiling broadly. Suddenly the forest vanished as she started crying and shakily hold his face.

"Prithvi... "

      Was all she could say before falling down almost unconscious. I wasn't fast enough to hold her. Dean picked her up and took her to a sofa. Emma and Sam made her sleep. I kneeled down near her head with Leo near me checking her pulses.

"What just happened?" Sam asked.

"I have no idea. But what ever it was it fried her." Leo said.

"Dean? What did you feel?" Sam asked.

"I felt like I never felt before Sammy. I was in the most peaceful place in the world. I had no load on my heart. I was happy.. I felt her. Flowing through my body. I know it sounds weird.. " I cut Dean.

"It doesn't Dean. You just experience the element earth. The source of creation. That's why you felt the peace." I said.

"But why did she did this to me? And what is Prithvi?" Dean asked.

"Prithvi is the sanskrit word for earth. Maybe that's what she wanted to say." Sam said.

"Adrika.. Can you hear me? Wake up.." I tried.

"Umm.. " She said faintly. And at the same moment I felt my phone ringing. I took out to see who's calling. Oh ow.

"I need to take this. Leo wake her up." I said.

"Seriously dude? Now?" Dean asked.

"It's my boss." I said standing up

"Sky?" He asked.

"No. Her father." I replied before picking up the phone. I talked to him and when I was back Adrika was up and sitting while Emma holding her.

"Oh. Good. I didn't lied to your father." I said.

"Dad called?" She asked.

"Adrika when did he ever missed. Somehow he always knows." I said.

"He is her father Mads." Emma said.

"And normal parents usually know exactly when their children are hurt? He has something he never told." I said. I always had this feeling.

"I never seen him but what Maddy always said he actually resembles an ancient powerful species calle.." Leo was cut by Adrika.

"Can we not talk about my father like he is a freak? Leave my Dad alone. He has nothing to do with it. He is just a protective father." She said. I would say she was more protective of him.

"Ok.. Let's leave him alone. And talk about what just happened here? With you and Dean." I said. She sighed.

"After I woke up here... I didn't try to use my powers. Because with all going on I was just distracted. The day when the hunters attacked me, I tried. But I couldn't." She said.

"Your powers aren't working? Why didn't you tell us before?" Leo asked.

"Because I sacrificed my powers for my sons. You know how I died. I wasn't supposed to. My sons supposed to die. How could I let that happen? So I thought I just lost my powers once and for good. But bhrata Krishn just told me that I need to get them back. Apparently this universe have five men with my five elements. Those five men will cross my path and I have to take my powers from them." She said. Great. Five people more.

"How will you know who are they?" Dean asked.

"My five elements went to my five sons. As another chance of life. So here that isn't their world if I take my powers that will not hurt them. I have to recognize them and call the right element. My five sons were the shadows of their fathers. They all represent some key features. Jyesth Yudhishthir was Righteous. So was Pratibandhya. Bhrata Bhim, power. Parth, skill. My husband, purity. Chhote kumar, knowledge. So my five elements also choose these features. Earth choose righteous. Wind, power. Water, skill. Fire, purity. And soul, knowledge." She said. That explains a lot.

"Wow.. So the five men also have these characteristics." Sam said.

"Precisely. And I found at least one today." She said looking at Dean.

"Me?" Dean asked shocked.

"Yes. The most righteous man of this universe." She said and I looked at him. Him? Seriously?

"I'm not. You know our life. You know things I have done. How can you even think that I'm righteous?" Dean said.

"Yes Dean. I know your life. That is the main reason you are here. I didn't see that until my brother point it out. You are here so that I could find my powers easily and faster. I know your life and the things you did. You want to know what I see in you. I see a man who saved the world so many times, without even a single thank you and still is in remorse that he couldn't save some more. If that isn't righteous then I don't know what is."

        Adrika said. I looked at Dean with this newfound respect. He sat down on the couch with face in his hand. Adrika went to him and sat on her knees in front of him. I didn't know what these brothers went through but it was rough and to be honest I kind of started to like them.

"Dean.. Stop punishing yourself. Your life wasn't all cherry and roses but you did a lot. You did all you could do. You still are. That's why earth choose you." Adrika said taking his face in her hands. "You know what I see in your eyes?" Dean shook his head as no. "I saw both my jyesth and most importantly my son. Prithvi. You have his beautiful green eyes."

"She was talking about her son Prativindhya." Sam said.

"Yah.. We thought she said earth." Emma replied.

"So you mean.." Dean started teasingly.

"You are not my son. Just the person who has the power I gave him." Adrika said making all of us laugh. Dean hold her both hands in his large hands and asked

"How do we get your powers back in you?" Adrika smiled.

"You don't have to do anything just.. You have to let your guards down so that I could connect to your soul. Then Leo can perform a simple binding charm and rest is up to me." She said.

"I'm game." Dean said. As they both stand up.

"Adrika are you sure you wanna do this now? You can wait until morning when you are well rested. Something in it sound painful." Emma said.

"It will be excruciating. But I have to do this now. I can't wait any longer." Adrika said.

"Ok. Dean ready?" Leo asked. Dean gave himself a shake and hold Adrika's arms and said

"Bring it on."

"Ree?" Leo asked.

       Adrika just nodded. I was concerned for her but most likely I wanted her to get her power back. So that maybe she could remember me. They both were standing face to face ready. Leo hold his wand tight and muttered something and a silvery band of light wrapped around the hold of their hand. Leo took a stand back and motioned us to do so. All of us took a step back. For a second seemed like nothing happened. But I saw concern on Dean's face and when I turned my eyes to Adrika my heart dropped. The pain on her face was extreme. She was clearly trying to suppress it. But her eyes made it clear. I wanted to just run to her but I couldn't. She needed to go through these process. If getting them back was so painful then, I couldn't imagine how painful it must been to strip from her soul. Aswatthama.. Even if I could forgive you for what you did to me I could never forgive you for the pains of Adrika. My thoughts were not very far away when I heard her scream. The pain was unbearable now for her to bear it in silence. The green aura was circling around them was now more fierce and was going inside Adrika. She then gave a extremely loud scream that has a effect of a hurricane. We all ducked to keep ourselves safe. When we look up the living room was destroyed. Adrika and Dean was standing in front of each other. Adrika was crying and Dean have a look of hurt and empathy on his face. She slowly go ahead and hugged him.

        The way they hug it was evident that not only Adrika saw Dean's memories but Dean did too. And if you see Adrika's memories you would definitely feel both sad and respectful. We made her sleep on the couch as she was half conscious. We all hover over her.

"How are you feeling?" Leo asked.

"Everything is hurting." She said faintly.

"She is ok. But we should have done it outside though." Leo said chuckling.

"Why?" She asked sitting up. She looked around and said "oh.." And lazily waved her hand. To our surprise the home was back to normal. Like nothing was broken at the first place.

"Ohk.... What just happened?" Sam asked.

"Earth.. Means power of creation and healing." She said shortly seemed like she was still in pain. I could see her skin was broken at places and traces of blood were visible. But those were healing.

"My head is pounding... Bhrata Krishn was right." She said. "Dean.. Are you ok?" We all looked at him.

"Yah.. I'm.. I'm fine. No pain." He said.

"I'm sorry Dean. I made you revisit your worst memories again." Adrika said.

"It's not my memories that are bothering me. They usually do. But right now it's yours." He said. They both share a look.

"I think everyone's exhausted for today now. Guys you must be aching for a good sleep. Why don't we discuss everything in the morning?" Emma said.

"Good. You need sleep. No thinking just go to bed." Dean said to Adrika. I smiled at both of them.

"Spoke just like jyesth. It usually get late if Parth and me were discussing about defense techniques. God I miss them." Adrika said holding her face to her palms. Dean stroke the top of her head as she was sitting and he was standing beside him. She stood up.

"Good night Ree... And boys. " Both Emma and Leo said and walked to their room.

"Good night guys... Get some rest Dean... Sam.. You too."

       Adrika said to them. Dean gave Adrika a last look before leaving. Sam went to her and gave her a hug. I was amused to see how tiny she appeared in front of Sam with 6'11" Hight and muscular built. And how easily she could make people fall in love with her. With her kindness, compassion and knowledge. She was not just a beautiful face. She was a beautiful person. He then wished me good night before climbing up to their room.

"You want a cup of tea?" I asked her. I know how much she adored this drink.

"I want you." She said, I stopped on my track. This was happening. Finally.

"I can't be alone tonight Mads.. Please stay with me." Again my hopes shattered with her words.

"Of course Adrika.." I said as we walked into her room.

           Long into that night, I started at her laying on the couch in her bedroom. She was sleeping peacefully. The moonlight from the window was illuminating her face. She was looking much more beautiful. I thought to myself that one day she would remember me.
