"Hunter!"

He turns around, his green eyes wide with surprise. You rush forward and throw your arms around him, kissing him. After a moment, his arms are around you and he returns the kiss.

You pull away from him to breathe, your heart racing. He pants beside you.

"I want to stay with you." Your voice is soft, but full of confidence. "I know we just met, and it's crazy to think like this but I-"

Hunter cuts you off with a kiss. "I feel the same way." He whispers your name against your lips, like a prayer. "I want you to stay too. Be mine, sweetheart."

A smile curves your lips. "Always." You lay your head against his chest and listen to the comforting beat of his heart. Who knew that the love of your life was waiting for you in the mountains?
