Through my years on here, I've had numerous people who've read my stories message me, asking me if I could read their stories and give them advice and so forth.

What I think of that: absolutely go for it! If you find an author that you like, go ahead and ask them for advice. As long as you aren't rude or demanding I don't think anyone will care. In fact, for me, it made me really happy that they valued my opinion enough to ask.

Now I have this book dedicated to tips, but if anyone still wants a more personalized answer, go ahead and send me a message and I'll do my best to read your story when I have time!

I may not be able to read it all in one sitting, so it may be a good idea to specify if you want a certain part read. In fact, you should probably specify if you want a certain section read whenever you send the message, whether it's to me or to someone else.

Although, on the other side, you have to understand that writers can be very busy and may not be able to get to your message right away. Don't let this discourage you from asking, I only want to warn you so that you understand that it may not happen right when you want it to, you may have to wait a while.

But be patient, and be kind.
