Test Tube was working on something. It looked like a calculator, or a time machine remote, but it was a remote for something else. It was for traveling through dimensions. It was almost done. She just needed some people to test it with...

She decided to go outside and collect as many people as she could. She managed to get Lightbulb, Knife, Microphone, Suitcase and Baseball. She then went to the hotel. There she managed to get OJ, Paper, Paintbrush, Fan, Yin-Yang, Nickel and Balloon. 

"So what do you need us for?" Baseball asked as they all walked to the DrFizz machine. 

"Oh you'll see..." Test Tube replied. 

She pressed in the code and the tube appeared. Everyone got sucked up. Mic had turned up her gain. 

"Okay, Mic, we need to hear every detail about the machine Test Tube has created. I will get down there and be invisible." Taco said.

"Alright." Mic whispered. 

Knife, who stood beside her, heard it. He decided not to say anything, since he knew about Mic's little secret and had promised to not spill it.

"Behold..." Test Tube was holding the remote, pressed a button and a pink and yellow portal appeared. "My dimension-travel-inator-I-didn't-know-a-name-for-so-I-stole-the-word-inator... inator!" 

"Wow we're quoting Doofenshmirtz now?" Nickel asked. 

Baseball laughed. 

"Get in everyone!" Test Tube said. 

Everyone got in. Except Yin-Yang, who was arguing with themselves again, so Test Tube had to throw them. 

Taco had found Microphone and grabbed her hand. 

"I'm coming with you." She told Mic.

"Are you sure this is-" 

"Just get in, Microphone, I'm sure we'll be fine." Taco interrupted Mic.

Mic sighed and stepped into the portal as well. She noticed Taco not letting go of her hand and blushed. 

They found themselves in a room. It looked like a living room, but everything was way bigger. 

"Where are we?" Paper asked. 

"I don't know, but this place is huge!" OJ replied.

"Well, this isn't what I was going for. So time to get ba- no, Yin-Yang!" Test Tube watched in horror as Yin-Yang took the remote and smashed it on the ground. 

"Ha! Serves you right, loser!" Yang said. 

"Yang! You've ruined it all!" Yin said.

"Oh no! No, no, no! MY MACHINE! Now I have to repair it!" Test Tube scolded Yin-Yang. 

They suddenly got interrupted by the ground shaking. It was because big footsteps were approaching the objects. 

"Oh no! What's happening?!" Suitcase exclaimed. 

Balloon held her. 

"I don't know!" He said. 

The footsteps stopped. A big shadow was hovering above the objects. They all looked up... only to see a human. They didn't know what a human was, though, so to them they looked like a huge, fleshy giant. 

The human kneeled down and studied the objects with a confused frown, probably because they didn't expect a bunch of objects with faces and limbs to be there. 

"Stay still, aliens don't see you if you're staying still." Lightbulb whispered.

"Are you sure about that? They're clearly seeing us!" Fan replied in a shriek. 

"Uhh, are you guys alive?" The human asked. 

"Oh golly, they've noticed us." Test Tube muttered. She then started speaking up. "Hello there, yes, we are alive, but we aren't from this world." 

The human raised a brow. 

"What do you mean? At first I thought you guys were some toys from my little brother Tyler." 

"We- we aren't toys, we're objects, from a game show. We traveled through a portal. We wanted to get outta here, but SOMEONE decided to break my travel-inator!" While Test Tube said this, she threw an angry glance at Yin-Yang. 

If glares could kill, they'd be dead. 

"Oh- oh my god..." the human said, "That's... weird! But also pretty cool! The only talking object I know is some stupid robot toy my little brother has." 

"Okay, sorry for the question, but, uh, what exactly are you?" Paintbrush asked.

"I'm... a human? You guys don't know what a human is?" 

"No, but damn you look pretty disgusting." Nickel replied.

"Nickel, that's mean!" Suitcase said. She looked up at the human. "I'm sorry about him. What's your name?" 

The human smiled. 

"I'm Y/N." They said.

"Wow, I thought you'd be named Human or something." Knife said. 

"What? Why?"

"Oh, because we are named based on what object we are. For example, I'm Knife, because I'm a knife." 

"Oh. Well, then I'm guessing you guys are... Baseball, Coin-"

"Nickel."

"-Nickel, Balloon, Paper Sheet-"

"I'm Paper." 

"-Paper, Glass of Juice?" 

"Orange Juice. But call me OJ." 

"Paintbrush, Suitcase, Microphone, Lightbulb, Test Tube, Fan?"

"Correct, I'm Fan."

"Knife and Yin and Yang Symbol?"

"It's just Yin-Yang, idiot! Or just Yin and Ruler Yang, because I'm gonna take over the world!" 

"Yang! Don't be so mean! I'm sorry, just call us Yin-Yang, like any normal person." 

"Wait, you're two in one?" Y/N asked.

"Yeah." Yin replied. "And it sucks." Yang added. 

Y/N laughed. "And lastly, Floating Bowtie?"

Everyone looked to see a small floating bowtie. Taco started sweating. Before she could talk, Mic started talking.

"Uhh, I-I don't know what you are talking about!"

"Did we- WAIT, THAT'S TESTY'S BOWTIE, isn't that right, Test Tube?" Fan looked at Test Tube. 

Test Tube was screwing around with her machine with a disappointed frown. 

"It will take forever to repair this! How are we gonna stay safe if there is also a smaller one of these species around who apparently thinks we are toys?!" She said.

"Hey, I can maybe keep you guys safe in my room." Y/N suggested.

"Really?" Balloon asked.

"That'd mean so much to us!" Fan exclaimed. 

Mic and Taco both sighed in relief because they didn't get caught. 

Suddenly, there were other footsteps. The objects saw another human approach. This one was smaller than Y/N. 

"Ooh! Toys!" The "small" human exclaimed.

"No Tyler! These aren't toys you can play with!" Y/N said. They opened their hands so the objects could crawl on. 

"They're toys! They look like toys." Tyler replied. 

"Well thank you, haha." Test Tube said sarcastically.

"AND THEY CAN TALK!" Tyler exclaimed happily. 

He tried to grab the objects from Y/N's hands. Y/N stood up, keeping the objects close to them.

"Don't touch them! They're..." they tried to think of an excuse. "They're for a school project and I lost them." 

Y/N walked to their room. When they were there, they set the objects down on their bed.

"That was so scary! How he just tried to grab us!" Suitcase exclaimed, trembling.

"Is any of your species dangerous?" Test Tube asked.

"Well, we humans are pretty messed up if you ask me. Humans murder each other all the time!" 

"Oh, that happens way too often in our world. No big news there buddy." Knife said with a sigh. 

"Can't you guys just recover the dead ones?" Lightbulb asked.

"Wha- recover? No? Is that possible in your world?" 

Fan nodded and started ranting about how MePhone uses a MeLife app to recover everyone.

"MePhone? That sounds like iPhone." Y/N said.

"iPhone? Do you guys have phones here too?" Paintbrush asked.

"Yeah, we also have Android, Nokia, but I prefer (insert your favorite phone brand here)." 

"Ooh okay." 

"Do you have any food in here? I'm quite hungry." OJ said. 

Everyone agreed.

"Sorry, dinner is starting within an hour." Y/N replied, looking at their phone really quick to look at the time. "But don't worry, after dinner, I will get some food for you guys. I sometimes take some food upstairs, so it's no biggie. You guys need to watch out for my mom, though, because she will give you guys to Tyler immediately." 

Everyone understood.

Y/N and the objects continued spending some time together to get to know each other until dinner was ready. 

Man I had told myself so many times I would keep this short because I wanted to get shorter chapters but more parts ughh- ah whatever. Hope y'all enjoyed the first part!
