"How was your first day?" I asked Elsie as she emerged from the classroom.

"Great" she grabbed her bag and we went to Beau's classroom.

"How was your first day?" I asked him as he came with his bag.

"It was ok" he walked past me in the direction of the car park. I walked behind me. What did he do to Beau?

"I didn't do anything" he responded.

"How are you doing that?" I asked him.

"We are special Harlow. You, Elsie, the boys and me"

"Get out of my head" I told him walking to the car.

"How was school?" Mum asked as we piled in.

"Dad is my teacher" Beau told her.

"Oh no"

"Let's get home" I said wanting to get as far away from this place as possible. Mum drove out and we went home.

"I have a shift tonight it starts 10 so the little ones should be asleep before I leave." Mum told Willow, Jabez and I as the others hopped out.

"Ok, have fun at the hospital." Jabez said not really listening.

"OK, we will keep the fort safe and sound." Will and I said together. I smiled and she rolled her eyes, she hates it when we do that.

"Ok guys inside" Mum pushed me to get me to start moving.

"Elsie can I talk to you?" I asked her.

"After afternoon tea" she told me eating a banana.

"OK, I'll be in my room" I took my bag up. I started on my English and maths homework. I finished English then there was a knock on the door.

"Come in" the door opened and Elsie stood there in shock.

"What's wrong?" I asked her.

"The door just opened, I was about to open it and it opened by itself" she said.

"Come in" I told her and she hopped on my bed.

"Did you hear voices in your head today at school?"

"Yes" she gasped

"I did too, apparently we are special and so are the boys" I grabbed her hands and then we were in the forest.

"What just..."

"Happened?"

"I think we teleported here"

"I was thinking about the forest and how all this started in the forest and now here we are... Oh no we're weridoes" Elsie's lost her mind.
"Calm down girlie" I grabbed her hand and thought about my bed and surely enough we were back on my bed.
"What the heck just happened?" Willow stared at us.
"Oops" Elsie screwed up her face worried.
"What are you talking about?" I asked Willow playing dumb.
"You two just appeared out of thin air"
"Willow we have been here the whole time, you must have your blinkers on" Elsie played along.
"What no I would have noticed you in here."
"No you wouldn't have" I told her.
"Els have you got homework?" I asked her giving her a mind wink. She nodded and we walked out.
"Weirdoes" Willow thought. Elsie and I went into the walk in cupboard. Jabez walked passed and Elsie opened the door and I grabbed him covering his mouth and pulled him in with us he teleported behind me.
"What are you doing?" He yelled and Elsie hushed him.
"We need to talk" I thought to him.
"Ok, what about?" He asked causally.
"Are you for real?" Elsie asked him sassy.
"Our school is for people like us, some people have extra powers, like shape shifting and other really cool powers. Apparently our family is special since we have four and five people in our family who have the abilities and some of the extras. Ava might have it as well. Our Epilepsy triggers the activation and then the epileptic medication dulls the power within us, you were overdosed so much that the medicine has only started to wear off, even though it's been over ten years since your last dose of medicine. Anyway what's up?" He talked the most he has ever said ever.
"What was that?" Elsie and I just stared at him.
"One of MY extras, I'm a genius, literally"
"Harlow one of yours is the visions and so is Elsie's,"
"Does Beau know?" I asked out of the blue.
"Yes" he responded in my head.
"Get in here" I told him. He walked in acting as causal as Jabez.
"How long have you two known?"
"Ten years" Jabez shrugged.
"Two years I was the same age as Elsie when I found out but Jabez and dad helped me through... Oh you haven't had the..."
"Ignore him" Jabez yelled over Beau.
"Why?"
"It's too early you don't want to rush into it. I heard its worst if you know it's coming"
"What's coming?" I asked before my head felt like it was splitting into two, I screamed clutching my head, Jabez grabbed me and Beau grabbed Elsie and they teleported somewhere away from the house. The pain subsided after the teleportation.
"What was that?"
"Transitioning, you're getting more powerful, but it's a long painfully progress, after this you will wake up refreshed and all your powers will be activated. Harlow you will be in more pain then you have ever felt and it will be longer since you are transitioning at a late age." Jabez explained. There was a flash and then Josh appeared.
"What is happening?" He asked, my head filled with even more pain and I fell to the floor as I started to violently vomit. I screamed and cried every time I got a breath. Josh sat down beside me when I had nothing left to throw up. He put me on his lap and the pain subsided at his touch but I was too exhausted to do anything.
"It's ok I've got you" Josh rubbed my back as I pass out.
