Chapter Five:

I slowly opened my eyes. I was on the forest floor, no one was around. I sat up the sunlight beamed through the branches lighting up areas of the forest. A wolf walked past and I sat very still hoping it doesn't see me. Something in the bush beside me rustled making the wolf look my way. Our eyes connected. Dammit he saw me the wolf walked slowly towards me, he started to speed up. I started to think about the room I was in last night before I had passed out. I opened my eyes and I was back in that room.
"Where were you?" Jabez asked walking into the room.
"In the forest"
"Why were you there?" Beau asked following Jabez.
"I woke up there" I told them finally standing up.
"Josh" Jabez growled walking out.
"What?" I asked Beau confused.
"Josh must have teleported you away so that you would have to use your powers to get back." He explained, it's so not fair that both the boys are smart and I can't even get an A in an easy subject.
"Morning Harlow" Elsie skipped in.
"Morning Elsie" I leaned against the wall.
"How do you feel?" She asked teleporting to my side.
"Pain, exhausted, what about you?"
"I feel great" I laughed.
"I don't understand why don't you feel as bad as last night" Beau was deep in thought.
"She hasn't finished transitioning yet, that's why" Jabez said walking in again and he was dragging Josh in by the collar. Elsie started teleporting around the room.
"Shut the door Beau" Jabez ordered and Beau closed the door. I slid down the wall passing out again. I saw Elsie and Ava playing in a tree.
"Ava" Elsie screams as Ava falls out and lands on her head I saw a watch it was 12:09 pm. Ava was unconscious when Elsie hops down and she calls out for help but no one came in time. I start to read a piece of paper then I noticed I was looking at a death certificate; Ava Mae Josephine Cormack, died 3rd of July 2016 at 12:09 pm. I gasped as a part of me died, why does this happen?

My eyes opened automatically and tears overflowed.
"What happened?" Elsie kneeled.
"Ava Died" I managed before I started crying heavily.
"What happened?" Jabez opened the door.
"Ava died" Elsie said tears in her eyes. Jabez teleported away and then he was back.
"She is very much alive, she is at day care right now, what did you see?" He asked worried.
"She was in a tree... and she fell on her head... and died, the certificate... said she died on the... third of July... 2016." I told them through the sobs.
"It's the 23rd of June, she dies next week. We can stop it from happening." Jabez went on.
"Train Elsie, she will be able to prevent it if she is trained quickly." I told him.
"I'll try but Elsie isn't the best student for anything"
"You will have to train me as well though" I told him snapping out of the crying state.
"Elsie we have to get you ready to prevent an accidental death."
"OK?" Elsie didn't really understand what was going on.
"Jabez remember how you said some of us have extra powers?"
"Yeah"
"I think I may be one of those people, I think I can see the future" I told him.
"I know, you kinda just told us Ava's future so yeah."
"How many extra powers will I get?"
"Right now you have two but everyone is different so I don't know"
