I enter the barber shop, and see Lauren doing some girls hair. She says, "Hey Sheila, can you do this next girls hair? I think she wants just a standard, strait cut. And cut off all of her bangs?"

"Sure Lauren." I say, as I go to do the girls hair.

After I finish doing the girls hair, it's about 6:45am.

"Hey Lauren can I talk to you for a minute?" I ask.

"Sure." Lauren says.

"But not here, somewhere else, maybe in the storage room maybe?" I say.

"Okay, let's go." Lauren says. As she flips the open sign over, so it now says closed, and we walk into the storage room, in there, there are lots of boxes, ranging from the size of a microwave, to the size of a fridge.

"So, Lauren, have you ever thought about getting of here? You know, trying to bust out? Break out of jail? Leave the prison that is the Edge? I'm going to gather a group of people who want to get out of here, and I was wondering if you wanted to be one of those people?" I ask.

"Oh my gosh, yes! I've been living here for two years, with nothing to think about, but escaping, so, of course I'll help!" Lauren says.

"Okay then we'll come with me, and we will gather more people, but while we are doing that we have to at normal, so Alex doesn't get any suspicions, about this okay? Oh and one more thing, his Alex's real name is actually Nick, and Kendra is his daughter, and her real name is Rose." I say

"Wow, umm, okay Sheila. And here's your pay for today." Lauren says as she gives me 7.5*.

"Let's go round up some people." I say.

"Sure, but who? Liam? Maybe James?" Lauren asks.

"Yeah, that sounds fine, first, let's ask Liam, he's probably on his bunk still sleeping." I say.

"Since he doesn't have a job, all he does all day, is sleep, ask people for money, sleep, eat, and maybe, on a rare occasion, nap." Lauren says.

"Come one Lauren let's just go." I say.

"Alright let's go Sheila." Lauren says.

I shake Liam, I have to shake him many times because he's basically in a coma. I yell as loud as I can, "Wake up Liam!" Well, that worked, now he's up.

"Liam, can we talk to you for a minute?" Lauren asks.

"Sure, what do you wanna talk about?" Liam asks.

"We can't talk here though, it's important, we have to go somewhere else, somewhere quiet." I say.

"Oh, how about that one those trees near the pond, they have lots of branches we could all climb up, no one would see us." I suggest.

"Sure." Liam says.

"Okay." Lauren says. As we all walk over to those fat trees near the pond, the one place that's actually pretty, in this dirt bucket called the edge.

Once we get to the pond, we have to trudge through some mud to get to the trees, I'm lucky I'm tall, because the mud only goes up to my knees, Liam, on the other hand, is short, the mud goes up to about his ankles, but that's only because he was walking in the shallow mud. We all climb up the tree with no effort at all.

"So, what did you guys want to talk about?" Liam asks.

We were wondering, Liam, if you've ever wanted to escape, you know bust out, get out of the edge, into the real world?

"Yeah, but what about James? What about Kendra? Aren't they coming too?" Liam asks.

"For one, Kendra's real name is Rose, and she's Alex's daughter, and his real name is Nick. So unless any of them are around, call them by their real names, okay?" I say.

"Okay, so do you have a plan?" Liam asks.

"That's why me and Sheila are gathering people, to come up with a plan." Lauren says.

"Alright, so the only person we need now is James." I say.

"So, what are we waiting for, let's go get him!" Lauren says.

"Hey James!" I say.

"Yeah, what do guys want, some chill, it's fresh!" James says.

"No James, we want to talk to you, now, it's important." I say.

"Sure, where?" James asks.

"In the back? It's quiet, no one else goes in there unless they need supplies, right?" Liam responds.

"Alright, let's go." Lauren says.

We walk into the storage area, again, boxes, lots of boxes, but I guess James just calls it the back.

"So, James, me, Liam, and Sheila, are going to try to break out of here, get out of the edge. We were wondering if you wanted to come? We haven't thought of a plan yet though, so you can help us with that." Lauren explains.

"And, Kendra's real name is Rose. Alex is her dad, and his real name is Nick." I say.

"Yes! Yes! Yes! I've been waiting so long for someone to say that, ask me if I wanted to escape, I've been here, since it started, I have been here, for 7 years! I was the first boy here." James says.

"So, let's meet at those fat trees near the pond, say, 8:30pm?" I ask.

"Sure!" Everyone says.
