"Kendra where are we going?" I ask.

"The fountain, where else would we go?" Kendra replies.

"Why?" I say.

"You forgot? Seriously? It's your welcoming party, there's going to be balloons, cake, and presents!" Kendra says.

"Oh, yeah." I Say.

Kendra and me approach the fountain, look at all the desserts, the pop, the food, the balloons, the streamers, the sparkles, but sadly, no one even bothered to show up, except for Kendra, Lauren, Alex, and about two other people I don't know.

"Hello Sheila, as you know, this is your welcoming party, but know one bothered to show up. Anyways, incase you didn't know, these people, who actually showed up are, Kendra, Lauren, James, Liam, and me. Now, why don't you have some food, have some fun, and maybe get to know some of these people." Alex says as he goes and sits on the edge of the fountain. I mean seriously, that is a disaster waiting to happen.

The next couple minutes are a little awkward because all we are just staring at each other, until finally Liam says, "So, Sheila, how do you like the edge so far?"

"Umm, it's fine I guess, but it's not really the ideal place I'd like to be living in right now, but it's not really like I have a choice." I say.

"I am completely with you." Liam says, giving me a weird look.

"Does someone have a crush?" James jokes.

"No James, I don't, I just met her, do you expect me to have a crush on someone I just met?........No James, I didn't think so." Liam says.

"Hey guys, let's play truth or dare!" Lauren says enthusiastically.

"Sure!" We all say.

"How do you play?" Liam says.

Then Lauren starts explaining the rules, "So, one person starts off as being "it," then they chose one person of their choice, and whoever they pick either has to do a truth, or a dare. A truth is a question in which you have to answer truthfully, and a dare is a task, big or small, that you have to do, and if you deny your truth or dare, you get a chicken taken away, and you only have one chicken so use it wisely, and if you have no chickens left, and you deny a truth or dare your out, and the game ends when either one person is left, or just when everyone gets bored."

"So, who wants to start?" Kendra says.

"I will, Sheila truth or dare?" Liam says.

"Umm, I guess I'll pick truth." I say.

"Okay then, so, who was your first friend here?" Liam asks.

"Well, I guess I would have to say Kendra." I reply.

Liam nods his head as I say, "Lauren, truth or dare?"

Lauren replies, "Dare".

"Lauren, I dare you to, go stand on the edge of the fountain, and yell, join the party, for only 5*!"

"Well, sorry Sheila, I'm gonna have to say chicken, I don't want........"

The speaker goes on, and once again everyone falls silent. "Hello again, people of the edge, this is Alex, your leader, I just want to tell you that it's 10:30am, and you know what that means? It's time for everyone, to go to their jobs if their not already there."

"Well, I guess I should get going," James says, "it's almost morning snack. We can continue this later."

"Me too," everyone else says as they walk away to their jobs. But Kendra comes walking back.

"It's fine Sheila, we just don't want to get in trouble, and how about you explore the place, and when we are all done our jobs, we will come to watch you open your presents, okay?" She asks.

"Okay Kendra bye." I say.

"Bye." Kendra says.
