"Thanks dad." Rose says.

"Your welcome my sweet rose." Nick says as he gives rose a hug.

"We better go, things would get worse if Sheila found out, about our plans, our plans to capture and take away the memory of all the criminals in the world." Rose says.

So, Alex, I mean Nick, was telling the truth, we all were criminals, he wants to keep us contained, what if he's part of this secret organization or something that rules the world, and anyone who tries to stop him, ends up here. Maybe, just maybe, I can cause a rebellion, get everyone out of this prison, the prison that they call the edge.

"Alright let's go." Nick says. As he and Rose head out of the door, since there is so much dust where I am, so I give out a sneeze.

"What was that?" Nick says.

"Yeah, I think I heard something too." Rose says. As her and Nick start looking around the alley, but luckily, they don't look under the stairs. Where I'm hiding.

"Come on Rose, we better get going, I'm going to do an inspection of the cabins, just to make sure everything is under control." Nick says.

Once they leave, I leave, and run right to the cabin, get in my bed, you could say it was a close call, but you would be wrong, I would say, that I got to my cabin just in time, because once I sat down, Nick and Rose came in the back door.

"Kendra! Can I talk to you?" I yell.

"Yeah, sure Sheila, what do you want?" Rose says she walks over to me.

"Listen Kendra, I'm really sorry for thinking you were working with Alex, I guess I might have heard you wrong, I just want to be friends again, as you said before, us newbies gotta stick together right?" I say.

"Yeah, of course. I'm just relieved that we can be friends again." Rose says.

"Thanks Kendra, now, let's go get some breakfast, and then it's my first day working at the salon." I say.

"Sure, let's go." Rose says.

As her and me walk over to the cafeteria, now, I'm not really sorry for saying all of that stuff to Rose, but I had to make her believe, that I was normal, that I was one of them, by them, I mean one of the normal people here who obey the rules, and that are nice, and calm. I'm going to at least try to be one of those people, until I come up with a plan to get out of here. Maybe, I could ask Liam, James, and Lauren, if they want to escape with me. Hopefully at least one of them will say yes.
