It's reaping day.
Two years ago my sister Calina was chosen.
When I was only eleven.

Last year my best friend Andrea's brother was chosen.
He didn't make it either.

Now this year the capitol has decided to choose crazy people.
They've picked me for the games.

I might have a bad tempter but I am not that psycho.

I mean sure I might not of liked Lucky.
I might have even cheered when he died.
But honestly he was way to cheerful.

Maybe I will break the District Four curse.
I don't think my partner can.

His name is Vick.
He seems awfully weak.

"Hi, I am Vick." He muttered putting his hand out for me to shake.

I refuse it though.
I am not making friends with a weakling.

"Your going to die." I replied simply, looking him in the eyes.

I straightened my light blue dress and skipped off into my room.

He's going to die and I am not.

District four will beat this curse.
