Matrix's Pov

I can still see smoke and flames in the distance.
Its been going on for quite some time since early afternoon.
I know who caused it.
My district partner Trixie the pyromaniac
I didn't really want to work with her.
But if she knew that she would kill me.
I'd rather not die a fiery death unlike the poor persons cannon I heard earlier.
I knew it was Trixie's doing.
As obvious as the fact I'm from District Three.

It will be dark soon.
Well as dark as it can be with the painfully bright flames in the distance.
The fire is very clearly spreading into a massive uncontrollable flame and I don't wait to hang around these woods much longer.

I decide it is time to move on and I will find Trixie again later.
So I start to sprint  towards the cornucopia area.

I see Onyx the district two male.

"Onyx, what are you doing here?" I question my hands reaching for my weapon , a small electric taser.

Onyx just shrugs, a bloody crowbar in hand.

His eyes dart to the left quickly . I assume he's looking for his sister Ophelia.

"You shouldn't have come here." Onyx mutters.

I sigh.

So this is how this is gonna go.

I prepare myself for the battle.
Onyx is way tougher than I am.

If I don't go into this with a battle plan I will die.

Onyx runs towards me and swings his crowbar towards me hitting me in the arm.

I wince , as I feel the crowbar puncture my arm.

I grasp my taser and leap at Onyx, taser aimed towards his heart area.

He drops to the ground the crowbar clunking loudly as I turn the taser to the highest setting.

Bzxz
Buzz

It makes loud noises as it electrocutes him.

I keep going waiting for the cannon to fire.

"NO!" A loud shriek comes from the left .

Ophelia is glaring at me

Onyx's cannon finally goes off but now I have a buffer problem.

Ophelia is covered in dried blood, holding a deer's corpse dropped behind her .

I guess she must of been looking for food.
Just bad timing for me that she's back.

I realize my taser is busted I used all of its power to take out one of the strongest tributes in the game and now I have nothing to defend myself.

If I had time maybe I could charge it or rewire it to make it work again.

But I don't have time .

"Monster."Ophelia snarls her eyes looking at her brother's fallen body.

She throws a ninja star towards me strategically causing me to lose my balance.

As I stumble she picks up Onyx's crossbar and I know I'm absolutely going to die .

"You will die a slow painful death , just like what you did to him." Ophelia mumbles , she swings the crowbar across my Achilles heel.

I scream.

But she just keeps swinging the crowbar.

She smiles at me darkly before plunging towards my neck , digging her teeth in. I hear her mutter something as my vision starts to blur .

So much pain.
So much agony .

Please just end it already.

My body twitches as i slowly bleed out .

Day 2 Evening-  Onyx Zinc (D2) Killed By Matrix Parks (D3) who  used a taser to electrocute him .

Day 2 Evening- Matrix Parks(D3) Killed by Ophelia Zinc (D2) after he killed her brother Onyx(D2) cut him in the Achilles heel , ripped out his throat and left him to die a slow painful death.
