truth

Drunk Minjeong was snoring lightly as Jimin watched her on the bed. The older girl fixed the blanket on her wife's body, wanted Minjeong to be as comfortable as she could provide. Jimin had many questions inside her mind, but asking her wife might be useless.

To find answers, she directly headed outside the house where she saw the two cops standing. She approached them with an apologetic smile and a slight bow.

"I'm sorry, but may I ask why is the house guarded?"

One of the cops raised his brows, "Oh? Your wife did not tell you?"

Tell what? Jimin thought. Minjeong might be the most secretive person she's ever known. That stubborn girl didn't tell Jimin anything most of the time, with the same reason saying that it wasn't any of Jimin's business.

But now that this is Jimin's business too. Their business, to be exact.

"Please, tell me. I need to know too," Jimin said. Her words came out almost like begging. The cop sighs once before he continues.

"Your wife files a report of a man named Yoo Sungjoon. She said he sexually harassed you, and she also brought strong evidence from her accusement. We saw the CCTV recording from the convenience store," the cop paused as Jimin tried to absorb every bit of his words.

"When we dig deeper about him in our database, we find out that this person got several criminal charges in the past. Most of it from sexual harassment, assault, and stalking. With someone with many past criminal charges like him, we believed that Yoo Sungjoon was indeed a dangerous person, still."

"We did go to his house a few hours ago. But his mom said he lived somewhere, alone, without his family's whereabouts. So currently, we are trying to find where he lives. That's why we are here. To avoid any more dangerous situation circumstances to you and your wife."

Jimin mouth formed into a thin line. She hugged herself for comfort after hearing all of that. "I see. Thank you for telling me," Jimin smiled once despite being slightly terrified by what she just heard.

"But, how is it dangerous to my wife too? Isn't he assaulting only me?"

The cop shakes his head at Jimin's question. "We believe she needs as much protection as you need. She also brought her x-ray film from her cracked cheekbone to us. She said he did that too-"

"W-Wait, what? Did he beat her up? Cracked cheekbone? I don't understand," Jimin's eyes widened in shock with another new fact. "Did she tell you when did that incident happened?"

"The x-ray film dated about four weeks ago, and yes, her cheekbone was cracked. Probably it still healing right now."

All this nonsense came out like a rumble of thunder to Jimin's heart. Her head was filled up with various new facts that her heart clenched on its own. Does that mean that that day, the one who beat up Minjeong lifeless was him? Jimin was frozen in place, hugging herself tighter, feeling more disturbed and in horror.

Is that why Minjeong had this weird tension between him, and Jaeho, since those two are friends? Is that the reason behind all of this?

Jimin turned her head, avoiding looking at the two cops as she realized how her eyes immediately became teary from all the guilt wrapped by the horror in between. Her voice came out slow and soar, "She never told me anything about that..."

"I'm sorry for what happened to you two. We'll try our best to look after both of you for the time being."

Despite all the comfort words the two cops trying to tell her, Jimin was extremely ashamed of herself, looking away as she let her tears fall freely. Why is she so stupid? Suspecting Minjeong to do something bad might have been her habit before. Why did she never know about this? Even tho Minjeong didn't tell her anything about this, at least Jimin should be more concerned about Minjeong's doings and condition.

She knew Minjeong was beaten up that day, but she accused her of fighting with someone's lover.

Even when Minjeong denied it, Jimin never tried to find the reason why.

Even though Jimin was there at the hospital with her that day, Jimin never knew that her wife cracked her cheekbone.

Jimin is the worst.

"She claimed to overheard him and his friends betting over you. They talked about how they would sexually assault you, and that's how she and the group of boys got into the fight. But since we have no evidence of that, we couldn't say that her claim is indeed true."

Oh god. What has Jimin done to her wife?

What did Minjeong do to deserve all this hatred and misunderstandings? When all she did was just to protect Jimin.

When all she did was to change for the better.

The two cops were startled as they heard the silent sobs from Jimin's trembling figures. "I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to-"

Jimin cut them when she suddenly turned around, exposing the tears on her cheeks. Red eyes and apologetic smiles, "It's okay. Thank you again for telling me all of this. I'll meet her inside," before she bowed down and headed back inside the house.

She silently got up the stairs and entered the room where Minjeong was sleeping soundly before she sat at the side of the bed. She stared at Minjeong's face for a while as silent sobs came out from her breathing.

Minjeong looks so peaceful, and beautiful. Jimin couldn't endure caressing that cute, soft cheeks of her wife. She then tucked a strand of Minjeong's hair behind her ear.

How did she never realize this before?

Jimin was so blinded by the rude version of Minjeong she had known for years that she forgot how the same girl used to be the loveliest and cutest person Jimin had ever known her entire life.

Jimin was blind.

"You really cared for me, but I was so blind that I couldn't see it," Jimin scoffed between her tears. Her eyes never shift away from looking at how innocent Minjeong looks when she sleeps. "I look like a crying mess right now, but you know how much a crybaby I am, don't you?" Jimin sneered to herself, slightly.

This is embarrassing.

"It's not strange tho. You used to care so much about me when we were kids"

"How could I forget that you used to be the kindest person to me before...", finally Jimin couldn't hold it anymore and her cries got heavier. "I'm sorry..."

"I'm so sorry, Minjeong..."

*****

Minjeong was awakened from her sleep when she heard someone's phone ringing. But she definitely sure that it wasn't hers. So she woke up, and she was startled that she was sleeping on the bed, covered with a blanket.

What more shocking to her is that Jimin was there too. Not lying down on the bed, but instead, Jimin was sitting on the floor. Her head was on the bed, and Minjeong's nose scrunched imagining how painful that uncomfortable position would make Jimin feel later.

"Is she stupid? Why did she sleep like that?"

Minjeong headed immediately to where Jimin's phone was still ringing. Stomping her feet gently, she cannot wait to pick up the call from someone who dares to wake her up from her beautiful sleep.

She took Jimin's phone from the dresser as she saw the name displayed on the screen. It wasn't that weird that it was Aeri who was calling because Jimin didn't attend her class that day. It's already 10 in the morning, which means the older girl is 2 hours late.

Or probably totally absent.

When Minjeong was about to pick up, the phone call ended, bringing back Minjeong to Jimin's lock screen. Then she saw it.

8 missed calls from Aeri.

"Damn. This Japanese is pretty aggressive..."

Minjeong tiptoed back outside the bedroom and headed downstairs with Jimin's phone inside her hand, and it took another few seconds before Aeri called again. This time, Minjeong succeeded in answering it without disturbing Jimin.

How startled she is when the first thing she hears is Aeri's dolphin-like angry banters.

"YU JIMIN!!! DID YOU JUST WAKE UP FROM YOUR SLEEP?? IT'S 10 AM AND YOU MISSED A CLASS-"

"This is Minjeong," Minjeong tried to cut the chase and angry Aeri immediately turned into a confused one. "Minjeong? Where's Jimin? No-no. Why are you the one picking up this phone?"

"She slept here last night. Probably a few nights more. Why?" Minjeong said with her flat voice.

"She slept there? I mean- I know about your family relationship with Jimin. But I thought she once said to me she never sleeps at your house," Aeri asked.

"Yes. But she probably started to sleep here a lot with me since 2 months ago," Minjeong said as she scratched her neck shyly, smiling to nowhere. Suddenly she remembered Jimin's apology from last night, hiding the fact that she was actually pretty much sober when Jimin bawled out.

"2 months ago? With you?"

"Well... I need my wife to take-"

"Your wife? Who?"

Minjeong paused her words, realizing her mistakes. "Oh..."

"Kim Minjeong... don't tell me. You guys married?!"

Fuck.

Minjeong messed it up.

"I-I... I thought... you know about it already..." Minjeong stuttered, couldn't find a proper word to explain to the Japanese.

"SO THAT'S RING ON HER FINGER THAT I SAW 2 MONTHS AGO WAS YOUR GUYS MARRIAGE RING??!!"

"HELLO?"

"KIM MINJEONG!"

"WHY AREN'T YOU ANSWERING MEEEEEE!!"

Minjeong ended the phone call, throwing Jimin's phone safely on the couch before she slumped herself onto the furniture. She massaged her head, suddenly feeling dumb for herself. If Jimin knew this, Minjeong might get killed.

*****

Jimin woke up when she heard Minjeong's voice from downstairs, but as soon as she lifted her head, she could feel that painful sensation on her neck would kill her at that exact moment. "Fuck! Ouch!"

Hearing how Jimin groaned in pain from upstairs, Minjeong came up running (but pretended not to) before she leaned her body on the doorframe. "How was your neck? I bet it's hurt."

Jimin slowly gets up from the floor, one hand holding her neck as she moans. "It should be fine in a few minutes... Ouch...", Jimin sat on the bed, before Minjeong came in and sat right next to her.

"Aren't you mad?" Minjeong asked out of the blue, making Jimin look at her in confusion. "Of what?"

"Yesterday. You know... I-"

"Drank?" Jimin asked, making Minjeong eyes widen in shock. Jimin chuckled once at the reaction before she continued, "You're alone, at our house. So I guess... it's fine?" Jimin smiled a little bit, still holding her neck in pain.

Suddenly, Minjeong's right hand slowly slips to the back of Jimin's neck, pulling Jimin's head closer to hers while Jimin's eyes widen in shock. Eyes trembling at how close the space left between their faces. "M-Minjeong, what are you-"

Minjeong kissed Jimin deeply as she closed her eyes. Her hands slowly massaged the back of Jimin's neck, providing her comfort and the good feeling she needed on that certain parts of her neck muscle. Jimin falls deep as she closes her eyes shut, tilting her head for Minjeong to explore more. Arms around Minjeong's shoulder as Minjeong tastebuds exploring every inch of Jimin's mouse.

The kiss wasn't wild, but it was wet and deep. Clicking sound echoes through the room before Minjeong gains more possession of their kiss. She started to suck onto Jimin's tongue, biting them lightly, trying to go into the deepest part of her wife's mouth.

When Jimin realized that she accidentally moaned between the kiss, her eyes were wide open as she pushed Minjeong away from the kiss gently. Rosy cheeks and stuttering mess, Jimin got shy.

"W-What was that for?"

"Our win-win situation," Minjeong answered, only leaving Jimin in confusion. Minjeong saw that reaction of Jimin, slightly laughing towards the older girl. "I forgive you for last night, and you forgive me for drinking," Minjeong answered.

"Y-You h-heard it...?"

Minjeong nodded her head lightly before both her palms reached up to Jimin's cheek. That annoying smile Jimin used to hate was now smiling at her again, so close that she could feel how their breath hit on their skin. When Minjeong saw how flustered Jimin had become, she leaned in even more until their noses hit.

"B-But... I didn't m-mention about giving or r-receiving rewards, Minjeong..." Jimin's voice came out like a whisper.

"Just a little. I won't be hard..." Minjeong whispered back.

"B-But I... I just woke up from sleep..."

"I don't care," Minjeong smirked, lifting one of her eyebrows. Jimin gulped again, closing her eyes, finally accepted her defeat. Her rules are all messed up, in a good way. At least Minjeong was a lot better now.

Minjeong slowly leans in to kiss Jimin's lips again. This time, hungrier and more demanding. Jimin lips were like a drug for Minjeong to devour. For her to own. For her touch.

Minjeong pushed Jimin back on the bed. She got a bit impatient this time that she slipped in her tongue immediately, assaulting Jimin's with hers passionately. One hand was behind Jimin's neck and the other one was under Jimin's shirt, beneath her bras, playing with the mounds of Jimin's breast resulting in a semi-loud moan from the older girl's occupied mouth.

Minjeong grins between her kisses before she starts to attack Jimin's neck, sucking it gently between licks and kisses. The hand from Jimin's breast moved down to her pelvis down beneath her sleeping pants and her underwear. Her fingers moved between Jimin's folds as her wife's moans were now almost uncontrollable.

"You are so wet, Jimin..." Minjeong grinned as she pulled her face from her wife's neck. Okay, maybe she's lying about not being hard.

Her fingers kept teasing Jimin's wet entrance as Minjeong kissed her wife on the lips again, shutting Jimin's mouth from making louder moans. She likes to hear it tho, but just for Minjeong to hear it. Their neighbour has no right to hear that euphoric voice.

Minjeong plunged two fingers into Jimin's clit in one thrust, leaving Jimin gasping between her occupied lips. Minjeong loves it so badly, that as she starts to thrust her fingers in and out of her wife, her lips never leave Jimin's lips. She loved to feel how the moans escaped between their wet mouth, and she loved how she could make Jimin feel this way.

"Come, Jimin. Let me feel you come on my fingers..."

Jimin couldn't hold it any longer that she needed to pull herself away from Minjeong's demanding lip-sucking. Her face was between the younger girl's neck and her body started to shake like crazy. Minjeong curling her finger like that would-

"Come on my fingers, baby..."

The aftermath was a bliss.

*****

4 pm.

Actually, Jimin has another class today. But since Jimin missed the 8 am class, Jimin can only go to the 4 pm class.

It wasn't strange that Jimin knew the reason why, but it was strange enough because this time Minjeong insisted on following Jimin to class despite it wasn't Minjeong's. The situation was a bit weird for the people who watched them, leaving Jimin in an awkward position.

Why not? This never happens. The so-called popular playgirl Kim Minjeong was never seen together following a person. She always being followed before.

Other than Minjeong's weird action that makes everyone pay attention to them, there are also another two men following not far away from them (who actually 2 cops in disguise). But gladly people didn't recognise them. Jimin guessed that they were pretty good at their job of mixing up with people.

"Uhm... Jimin? Why did she need to follow us?" Aeri asked as she looked at her back while walking together with Jimin towards their class.

Jimin turns her head around, looking at Minjeong who keeps following them persistently. Minjeong was wearing a black cap, black leather jacket, white shirt and denim jeans. Silently following Jimin, she keeps looking around, just in case someone suspicious might jump out of nowhere and attack Jimin again.

"Just let her be," Jimin said as she flashed a bright smile, even tho Minjeong couldn't see that.

"By the way, why are you wearing... such uncomfortable clothing?" Aeri asked as she eyed the dark blue scarf around Jimin's neck. The girl got so flustered with the question that she immediately pulled her hands off from Aeri's arm, securing the scarf even more on her neck.

"Don't let her see the hickeys!"

"Can you slow down your voice a bit? Minjeong made me wear this, and I had no choice," Jimin said with a light sigh, slightly looking at Minjeong not far away behind her before she rolled her eyes. I won't be hard, my ass.

Aeri suddenly leans into Jimin's ear before she whispers, "Don't tell me... you guys did that?"

Jimin pulled away in shock, looking sharply at Aeri's eyes, panicking that this blabbering Japanese may know too much about this. Jimin looked around, in case someone might heard them.

"How did you-"

"Minjeong told me that you guys are marr-", Aeri's reply was cut by when Jimin cupped her mouth almost immediately. Her eyes widen even more. "Hush, Aeri! Please!"

Jimin's wide open eyes then turn around at her back, glaring at her wife who pretends that she didn't do anything wrong. She'll make sure to give Minjeong a horrible punishment later.
