There was a lot of them and three of us, three of us skillful pilots. We were nervous I know chopper was, and as soon as they were 5,000 feet away the systems went crazy with warnings! I started off using my guns and saving most of my heat seekers for later. Chopper was getting locked on to the most and was being smart and using his air break to evading radar lock and heat seekers. There is too many and I swear there is at least 5 missals behind me, and I slip once, I'm a dead man, so I used some flairs to try and evade but still I was hit by one and now I had a right engine fire so I flipped a switch and shut the engine off.
"Blaze? Your trailing smoke!" Edge shouted
"I know I know I'm fine I just... Messed up a little!"
"Their retreating!" Chopper said
Good I thought. Maybe we can land on a carrier
"Hey EDGE, CHOPPER, think we can land on a carrier soon?"
"Ya" chopper said
"We could make it back can you fly under 1,000 feet?" Edge asked
"Yes" I replied

I tried to even the jet and align it with the center of the runway, it was becoming difficult.
"PULL UP PULL UP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP"
I hardly heard the radio and the front gear collapsed the jet went off the runway into the grass then all I rember seeing is flames engulfing around the canopy until the plane rolled.
I opened my dry gunkey eyes to the bright light with my whole fleet in the room and all I hear is hey look who awoke I already knew who it was and I wiped my eyes sat up and he smiled. Smith.
"I need to get out of here and back up there!" I said
"oh no your not flyboy, not for at least a week!" A doc said
"What? No I need to get up there now!" I replied but we all know how it goes when you argue with a doctor.
