6 months later Erebor and Dale restored to its former glory.

Val's POV

I rode into the town of Dale as I found Bards new house. It wasn't over extravagant but it had exceeded the last house he lived in.

"Val! What a surprise!" He smiled as stepped aside

"Thank you-"

"VAL!!" Sigrid and Tilda screamed as they launched themselves into my arms.

"It's good to see you too." We all laughed as Bain gave me a hug.

"What news do you bring?" Bard asked

"Well as you know my wedding is tomorrow. I was wondering if your girls would like to help me get ready?" The girls screamed and squealed and jumped.

"Well you have your answers then." Bard smiled

"You and Bain are also invited. " Bard nodded enthusiastically

"Girls go pack your bags." As they ran off and in five minutes they were back

"If only they were like that with there chores. " He muttered

Come on girls! A carriage Is waiting for you two! I'll see you tomorrow at noon sharp!"

The two girls acted like princesses as they stepped into the carriage. Bard couldn't help but smile.

I leaped on the horse as the carriage followed me back to the castle.

The day was spent by Sigrid and Tilda oohing and aging as me and Fili showed them the restored halls of Erebor. It was dinner time and soon Fili was walking me to my room.

"Are you nervous?"

"I will be eventually." I smiled "are you sunshine?"

"I will eventually." He kissed me. " See you tomorrow."

"I'll be the one in white!" I called as he threw back his head and laughed.

Tomorrow I was going to be I was going to be Mes. Valencia Oakenshield.
