Val's POV

Just in sync when Fili called the hobbits name he appeared with the keys.

"Thank you dear hobbit." I hugged him tightly as we made for the cellars where we all waited.

"Get in the barrels." Bilbo ordered

"Are you mad? They'll find us!" Dwalin whispered

"Please please please just trust me!" Bilbo half whispered and half yelled

"Do it. It's our best bet." I sided with Bilbo

"Do as he says." Thorin commanded as we all got in barrels.

I went in as Bilbo pulled the lever as we all rolled down stream soon the elves would be looking for us. Orcs suddenly appeared as they began to shoot us down with only logs as weapons. Moving slowly down we collected what weapons we could and fighted our way down. The elves both trying to stop our escape and to kill the orcs began to shoot them down. The gate closed just as Thorin arrived. Kili climbed out of his barrel as he begin to pull the lever.

"Kili no!" I yelled as he crumpled to the ground. He got up again barely successful as he hopped back into his barrel floating towards what lies ahead.....,,
