Chapter 33

1 month later...

Lorraine waited for the other line to pick up her call, being held up after a few rings.

"Hello?" The personal on the other line spoke. She put the call on speaker, throwing it on the couch and starting the wear her boots.

"Hey, Yoongi."

"Yes?"

"Hey, It's about your business. I got a call from a director, Bill Davenport. He's offering me a movie so I asked who's the production, he took a few names and I slipped yours in too."

"Did you really?" He asked in awe.

"Mhm,"

"Oh okay, so what am I supposed to do?" He sounded restless all of a sudden.

"Yeah, I'm gonna meet him today. So you can come with me and have a chat, I'll take my script along the way too."

"Okay, what time?"

"Let's see, I'm coming to your hotel right now."

"Why?"

"I don't know, Jimin told me he wants to go somewhere. So after that, I have an appointment with him."

"Come and meet me at the hotel then."

"Yeah."

"Thanks, bye,"

"See you."

She cut the call, standing up in her black high boots, pencil heeled and reaching up to her lower thighs. She was adorning a mahroom wrap dress, slit from her leg, exposing her honey skin.

It was a date, Jimin had declared on the call. Having no experience with it, she just went with whatever she felt was nice. Still managing to look expensive. She wasn't feeling anxious about the dress though, but the fact that they were going to be spotted by the media and people, intentionally. Jimin hadn't told her where they were going, just stated he'd pick her up but there was a slight change in the plan; she had to meet Yoongi along the way.

Lorraine was back in Los Angeles after fifteen days of summer on the island with the best people. Now it was work time. Her movie was released, hitting the box office on the first day. The reason for her current drive and happiness, escalated after after the struggle they went through together. This movie was the only thing she was willing to leave and ruin it all for and now it was here and breaking records.

Meanwhile, BTS's album had been released, the reason why they were back in LA for promotions. And the reason why she could meet Jimin. It won't last long, though, because her movie promotions would start and she had a flight for new York tomorrow. Then if the time fits in, Europe and Asia would come along.

She went out of her house, sitting in the back of her car as the driver started the enginez driving off. She called the direction, Bill Davenport to inform him about Yoongi too.

After reaching the front of the hotel, she realised the popularity BTS held. A thousands of people were outside the hotel just waiting for the boys to come out so that they could have a single glance at them. Her driver got out of his seat to open her gate and hold it for her.

She could hear their screams as they noticed her, her shades on as she entered the hotel, hundreds of her pictures airing right the moment with the headline, 'Lorraine Acker spotted entering BTS's hotel'.

*

"Hello, gorgeous."

Jimin greeted once he opened the door, met by Lorraine. She grinned at him, commenting something about cutting his trial at British accent before grabbing his face and connecting their lips together.

He stumbled back once she stepped into the room, closing the door behind her but never detaching their lips. His hands found their way on her hips. A moan slipped from the back of Lorraine's throat, fingers grazing his cheekbones.

When they separated, she rested her forehead on top of his, staring intently at the plush pair of lips, red and glistening with saliva. So, so inviting. She dived in again, taking his bottom lip her teeth and sucking on it. Jimin moaned softly.

"You know we could cancel the date and I could throw you over the bed." He said, hooded eyes piercing her's, hands going to palm her ass.

She huffed, slightly craning her neck back when he started nipping at her skin.

"No, Jimin, I've got a meeting with this director- which reminds me, what's Yoongi's room number?"

Jimin shot back, his eyebrows furrowed as he plopped his shoulders dramatically.

"No, won't tell you." He grumbled out. "Why do you need to say his name while we're making out?"

"Jimin." She tsked. "I have some work with him. Speak before we get late for wherever you're taking me and I cancel the plan because I have an appointment at seven and tomorrow I have to go to New York and-"

"See? You wasted five minutes ranting." Jimin quipped, rolling his eyes. "I'll only tell you if you promise to stay with me tonight."

"If you take the responsibility of waking me up in the morning."

"Fine, your highness." He said.

She smiled cheekily and pecked his lips once again. "I love you."

"I love you too." He smiled widely, showing his perfect fit of white teeth.

"Where are you taking me?"

"You'll see."

"Come on, I need to meet Yoongi."

Jimin huffed again and rolled his eyes.
He nodded boredly and started walking. As soon as he opened the door of his bedroom, something fell on me. It was heavy, making him fall to the floor. He groaned in pain and looked in front of him to be met by his God-forsaken assistant lying on top of me.

"You!" He shouted. "Get off me!"

His assistant got up, rubbing his knees. "What's up with the English?" He asked him in Korean.

Jimin looked back to see Lorraine trying to suppress her laughter. He turned back towards his assistant. "What do you want?"

"I just came to check up on you. If you were not dead or else my job will be gone."

"You see, I'm not dead. Fuck off now."

As Jimin watched his assistant moving towards the gate and closing the door, he turned back to Lorraine again. "He gets like that when the schedule is too tight." He reasoned out, a cheeky smile adorning his lips as he ruffled the hair on his nape.

Lorraine hummed in response. Jimin toon her to Yoongi's room after that - grumpily so - which was right next to his.
The rapper opened the door, smiling lightly and eyes glinting in interest.

"Don't you wanna come in?" He asked.

"No- No! We're running late already." Jimin intervened, waving his hand in the air to enhance his point.

Yoongi rolled his eyes at him before looking at Lorraine. "When do we have to go?" He asked.

"Go where?"

"Seven O'clock, he said."

"Alright." The rapper quipped.

"Go where?"

"See you then."

"What is happening?! Where are you two going?! Why am I not going with you?!"

"Ah, she'll tell you on the way. Go now, bye!" Yoongi said, turning Jimin around and pushing his back before closing the door.

Jimin stomped his feet on the ground and Lorraine giggled at his childishness. They got out of the hotel, wearing their shades on the way to be rescued by the thousands of flashlights focusing on them. Lorraine's flip switched, no longer bubbly or reachable. Jimin's fingers interlocked with hers and he looked to her side to Jimin giving her a crooked smile.

Together, they started walking towards the car, the reporters following them but there was a fence of body guards and dividers protecting them. Questions after questions being thrown at them.

As they got towards the car, Jimin opened the door for her to get in before moving to the other side and sitting at the driver's seat. She whined about letting her drive the car because she knew Jimin didn't trust her driving skills at all. But he shrugged her off by saying,

"It's my date, okay? You can drive when you're taking me on a date."

She didn't have anything to say after that so she sat silently as he started driving. She realised that herl was going towards Koreatown according to the GPS instructions.

"Koreatown?"

He hummed. Koreatown was a neighborhood in Los Angeles, mostly popular for koraeoke nights.

"You really have planned something."

Jimin grinned, shaking his head. "It's nothing too fancy, but I hope you like it."

After half an hour or so, they reached there. They stopped in front of an ice-cream shop. She looked at Jimin who was nervously tapping at the steerwheel, the joyous mood had dropped and was replaced by something more serious. Then Jimin spoke.

"I know...that the first date was supposed to be something special, memorable and...grand. But this is all I could come up with because of the tight schedule."

Lorraine's eyes squinted a little, analysing him. For the first time she could see how new to this Jimin was. He might have taken people on dates but that would have been before he debuted. That, and the fact that she wasn't a high school girl- or boy, for that matter.

Nonetheless it was a big deal for her. Because she had never been taken on dates- asked to, yes. But she never really accepted the offer. That's when she realised that it was a big deal because it was with Jimin. It didn't matter if he took her to some fancy restaurant, on the hills, to the amusement park, she could care less. This ice cream parlour was just fine, because it meant Jimin was trying pretty damn hard to make time for her in his busy schedule. He always had.

She didn't say anything, just smiled brightly and tugged at his shirt. "Shall we go in already?"

She could see Jimin taking a relieved sigh before nodding and getting out of the car. When they stood at the counter, the lady who was supposed to take orders was gawking at them.

"The place is famous for shaved ice cream. Try this one, that's my favorite." He pointed at the board.

"Alright, what flavor?" She asked.

"It's condensed milk."

My eyes lit up. "Condensed milk?" I smiled.

"You like it?"

"I love condensed milk."

Jimin chuckled, his eyes crinkling shut as he held out his hand for a high-five. She clapped his hand.

"So, one shaved Ice cream, the condensed milk flavor, and two extra cups of condensed milk because I'm not sharing mine with you."

"Why one?"

"It's big, Lorraine." Jimin rolled his eyes. "The ice cream is as large as a human skull. I'm not being romantic or shit."

Lorraine sighed at his drama. They sat on of the tables, facing eachother. Jimin unlocked his phone and held it up.

"Okay this is our first date so," He adjusted the front camera, taking a few selfies before showing them all to Lorraine. That wasn't just the end though, he kept on clicking Lorraine's pictures secretly, sitting at the table in front of him till she scolded him to keep his phone down and talk to her instead.

He shoved his phone inside his pockets snickering about all the pictures he took of her without her even suspecting before speaking.

"What were you and Yoongi talking about?"

"Production," she replied. "We're going to meet a director after this."

He nodded. "He's been wanting to produce for a long while now. Movie production, obviously. He produces our songs too."

The ice cream arrived and Goddamn yes it was big. There were two small glasses of condensed milk. Lorraine could feel her mouth watering just by the sweet smell of it.

"I'll tell you how to eat it. Take a sip of the condensed milk and pour the rest on the ice cream."

"Alright."

They cheersed their shots of condensed milk before taking a sip of the thick delicious milk. Pouring the rest over the shaved ice cream. They picked up their spoons and scraped the mountain of sweetness with it before having a bite.

Lorraine's lips smacked together, eyes blown wide at the deliciousness.

"How come I never knew about this place?"

Jimin laughed and Lorraine couldn't help but notice the wha jimin held his spoon Between his forefinger and middle finger, like he was holding a chopstick. She saved it in the collection of memories of Jimin's endearing habits.

"That's because you don't get over your fancy restaurants that cost as much as the president's suit."

She rolled her eyes, gulping down her bite before speaking. "You know, I'm planning a party."

"Oh, ple-"

Before Jimin could argue about how that's all Lorraine did, which was true, she cut him off.

"No! Listen! There are so many reasons. Matt and Ivey's child, my box office, your album. Come on, Jimin, it'll be fun."

"Yeah, that...and my world tour." Jimin smiled sarcastically.

"After that?" Lorraine asked, desperation evident in her voice. Jimin just shrugged.

"On my birthday?" She shot her last shot.

He finally looked at her, his lips breaking into a smile and nodding. She smiled back. She loved it when he acted like she was his biggest weakness. Like he couldn't resist saying yes to her.

She watched as Jimin delightedly munched on his bite, nodding his head like he was playing some song in his head. He was shewing ice cream, another endearing habit, Lorraine's mind noted.

"I just wanna do so many things with you..."

"Like what?" She teased.

"Like..." He looked down, shy. Park Jimin was shy. "I want to make you meet my parents."

Lorraine couldn't say anything, she was at a loss of words. She didn't realise the depth of this whole relationship until now. This meant too much for her to straight up believe she actually heard it.

Jimin's parents meant a lot to him. He was still looking down, his ears slightly red as he played with his spoon and the ice cream. She took his hand from across the table and he looked up at her.

"Jimin." That's all she could let out her mouth, a soft smile resting on her lips as she hoped that Jimin understood the rest with her eyes.

He chuckled softly.

"I'll think about that after the concerts... I just.. I told my Mom about you and she asked if she could meet you. It has been on my mind for a while now."

"Of course."

They finished their ice cream, paid and then went towards their car again. Thankfully, the reporters hadn't followed them till here. Or there might a couple hiding in the bushes.

Once after sitting in the car, they headed back to the hotel. If we cut the whining of Jimin about wanting to have car sex, the ride mostly silent.

Lorraine felt light headed after stepping outside the car once they reached the hotel, so she couldn't really focus on the questions that the reporters threw again.

As they were inside, she bid Jimin goodbye - which took a whole lot of time not to mention - pecking his cheek and lips and hugging him and promising to stay the night after work. Then she finally went to Yoongi.

*

Yoongi folded the sleeves of his crisp white shirt, leaning back on the seat of the car. He knew he made a good first impression, had the director stunned, and was cocky about it.

Lorraine had to give credit, though. His professionalism was off the charts, there was no way in hell that he wouldn't have stolen the contract.

"You're gonna be my next movie's producer," she said, smiling.

"Thanks to you, miss."

"Yeah, you owe me one. I gave up my chance of producing this movie for you."

Yoongi chuckled, fucking sinister.

"Am I supposed to drop you home?"

She shook her head. "I'm coming with you."

"Staying the night?" He groaned, cursing under his breath. "Don't wanna hear you two all night. My room's just beside him."

Lorraine just rolled her eyes.

She bid Yoongi goodbye after they reached the floor before going towards Jimin's room.
