"It's good to see you here, last time you were here you were six months pregnant," The interviewer told Lorraine who was sitting in front of him, her one leg elegantly resting on the other as she smiled.
"I was." She answered.
"You were cranky because you couldn't have margaritas." He joked and the audience laughed.
"Oh, so cranky." Lorraine played along. "It was so annoying. And I was up for an Oscar. I had to do all of that without drinking."
The interviewer laughed at the end sentence, nodding his head. "It's impossible." He said.
"It is quite, yeah." She agreed.
"How old is she now?" He asked.
"She's now three and a half."
"So is she sleeping through the night? Like or Jimin has to carry her around to make her sleep?"
She laughed, covering her mouth with her hand as the audience started shouting at the name of Jimin.
"He'd usually carry her around but she's a sweet girl so we don't have to crack our heads to make her sleep."
"Of course she's a sweet girl. Who's her more favorite, mommy or daddy?"
Lorraine snorted. "You know the answer," she said, leaning back on the sofa as the audience cheered the answer.
"She's backstage actually." She informed, smiling cheekily.
"Oh, can we bring her here?" The interviewer asked as he looked back to see some men already ushering the little girl towards the stage.
She took small steps towards her mother, her soft like silk brunette locks falling on her shoulder. She got the eyebrows from her father, as well as those plump lips. Though her eyes and nose were a like Lorraine.
The little girl was already used to those cameras and people as it was with her since birth. She adapted it quite nicely. Although, there was a possibility her thoughts might change when she grows up. Lorraine and Jimin will always respect that.
She reached her mother, her big eyes staring up at her.
"Hey, baby!" The interviewer exclaimed as the girl named Effie turned to face the man.
"Hi." She said softly, leaning back on her mother's legs as everyone cooed at her.
"Shall we ask her the question? Effie, who do you like more? Mommy or Daddy?"
Effie thought for a while. "Both!" She jumped while answering.
"That's cute but whose more favorite."
"Daddy." She giggled, clenching her small fists.
Everyone cheered and laughed at her innocence as Lorraine facepalmed.
"I told you." She said.
"Daddy," Effie started with her sweet voice. "Daddy promised to bring me a playhouse back there..."
"You were talking to daddy back there?" Lorraine asked, "On the call?"
"Yes!" Effie chimed while nodding her head, again and again, a bright smile forming across her lips.
"So that's why daddy's favorite." The interviewer chuckled.
"Yeah," Lorraine answered, snaking her arms around Effie's stomach. "Daddy pampers, Mommy scolds."
Everyone laughed as Effie straightened up her small form and looked at Lorraine, asking with her eyes if she could go now.
"Give me a kiss," Lorraine said, smiling cheekily at her daughter.
Effie climbed on her toes to kiss her cheek before running off to the backstage again.

Jimin got out of the black car as the sudden flashes of lights hit him. It was night time as they headed towards the airport. He tried to conceal the irritation he felt towards the blaring lights because his daughter was with him and it would cause her discomfort.
He waited as his little daughter shifted to the edge of the car seat and gripped Jimin's hands with her tiny fingers to hop off the car.
Jimin smiled lightly at her.
The three and a half year old kid had thrown a tantrum and had cried for hours to go with Jimin to Korea. She enjoyed playing with her uncles here. Jimin loved that she was also slowly picking up and trying to speak in Korean these days.
She left Jimin's arm and took small steps as the crowd of reporters took pictures of her and Jimin. She was just completely unbothered. It was her life since the beginning, so little Effie thought that this happened with everyone.
Jimin rested a hand on her shoulder from behind to make sure of her as they made their way inside the airport. Midway, Effie suddenly stopped walking and so did everyone. She turned around and raised her hands, signaling Jimin to pick her up.
Jimin chuckled lightly, kneeling down for her to hear him because of the camera flash sounds.
"You don't wanna walk?" He asked, lightly brushing his hand on her cheek.
Every time Jimin looked at Effie, the divine realization would strike him like heaven; he was a father. Which meant there would be a life to whom he'll devote his life to.
Never in his life did he understand the feeling of being a parent more than now. It was all too overwhelming, it was his daughter, she called him father.
He remembered the panic he had felt when a mosquito had bit her when she was only a few months old.
"No." She muttered, getting on her toes for Jimin to pick her up.
"Come here, my baby." He said, wrapping his hands around her and he lifting her up. It was already night and all they had to do was get in their private plane and sleep. So he understood if Effie was feeling sleepy.
He never knew he had some real skills until he figured out how to take care of the three-year-old kid the whole day without Lorraine. The boys were of help too, she enjoyed staying here with them.
She rested her cheek on his shoulder as he continued walking, covering her eyes from the flashes of light.
They eventually got into the plane. Jimin changing into night wears before doing the same to Effie who jumped on the bed.
After changing her clothes, Jimin took a quick picture of them for informing Raine that they had taken off for Los Angeles.
He lied down on the bed as Effie sat on his stomach.
"Daddy, are we going to mommy?" She asked for the nth time within twenty-four hours but Jimin chuckled nonetheless.
"Yes, baby, and are you going to show mommy your new doll set?"
"Yeah, and I'll play with Geremy. But he usually breaks my toys."
Jimin softly brushed her hair back.
"I'll bring you new." He said, pinching her cheeks. "Sleep now, come on."
"No, give me your phone." She argued, raising her hand for Jimin to hand it over.
"What? No. I said sleep."
Effie started whining, dropping her body on Jimin to search for the phone in his back pockets.
"Eff. Effie!" He lightly raised his voice as the little girl faced him, a scowl on her face.
It were times like these when he wished Lorraine was here to control the kid. Effie wasn't usually a brat but her tantrums were high maintenance. It wasn't as if Jimin couldn't handle them. He just softened and gave in to the girl. He never thought he could love someone so deeply.
He sighed, taking out his phone from under the pillow before handing it to Effie.
"But no longer than 10 minutes, you'll sleep without noise. And do not open daddy's apps, Eff."
But the girl wasn't listening, leaning onto Jimin's stomach to sit comfortably, her little fingers expertly rummaging through the phone.
Jimin sighed and opened up the book he was reading to cut the time and after a while, he saw Effie's eyes closing. He took the phone which was slipping out of her little hands and made her small form lay beside him as he cuddled closer, his one hand under Effie's head and another wrapping around her body.
The next morning when Jimin woke up, Effie was still in deep slumber, cuddled close to Jimin as always. Jimin usually felt as if his family's freedom and privileges were his priorities.
"Baby," Jimin called, lightly brushing her brown hair. "Wake up, we're home."
He rubbed his eyes, seeing an air hostess passing by as he pushed his hair back, lightly shaking Effie.
The girl had this habit of crying after waking up and he really didn't want that right now.
"Please, please wake up or Raine will kill me for not making you brush your teeth." He murmured to himself, lightly shaking the girl.
He sat up, hating how cold it always became in the flight. He brought Effie in his lap, making the girl slowly wake up.
Please don't cry. Please don't cry.
To his relief, Effie just climbed on top of him, snaking her arms around his neck and wrapping her small legs tightly around his waist. Jimin picked her up comfortably as the girl rested her cheek on his shoulder.
He stroked her back as Effie hummed in sleep.
"Hey, don't sleep, you wanna meet Mommy don't you?"
"Mommy..." Effie murmured, slowly opening her eyes and facing Jimin, quickly nodding at his question.
Jimin smiled lightly, kissing her forehead before starting their morning routines on the plane.
Jimin had to wear glasses in the morning to hide the dark circles under his eyes, nor did he had the time to put any make up with Effie.
The girl refused to get off his his arms and walk by herself after they reached the airport. And before they could get out and be surrounded by thousands of reporters and Lorraine whom Jimin was so desperate to meet, Effie said.
"Airport. They keep planes in the airport." She muttered to herself before yanking her body weight to the side in Jimin's arms to get his attention. "Daddy, I want the airport."
"What?" Jimin chuckled. "Eff, we can't actually buy the airport."
The girl started fake crying, whining and wiggling in his arms to get what she wanted.
"Okay, I'll get you a- an airplane set once we reach home, okay." Jimin said, keen to meet Lorraine standing out there.
It was Jimin's fault in the first place to pamper the girl so much and giving her everything on one demand.
"I want this airport, daddy." She complained.
"We can't have that, Effie."
And the fake crying and whining started again, making Jimin loose his patience by the second, for God's sake, Lorraine was waiting out there and this girl wanted a whole damn airport to herself.
"Eff, don't you wanna meet Mommy?"
"No, I want this airport!" She cried, tumbling from side to side as Jimin had a hard time lifting the girl up.
"Effie, no! If you wanna have the airport, I'll leave you at the airport and go home." He scolded seriously, glaring at her.
Effie's breath hitched, Jimin had never scolded her, ever. Tears fell down her eyes, brimming her eyelashes as she stared at Jimin, her pouty lips furrowing as a whimper left her mouth.
Jimin startled the three year old.
She started crying and Jimin's heart sped up in panic.
"Oh my God! Eff, baby, please don't cry." He pleaded but she continued crying as tears spilled down her cheeks, lower lip wobbling.
"I'm sorry, did I scare you? I won't shout, I promise." He said, bring her face to his chest. "Don't cry, please."
He wiped her tears, hoping she would stop but she wasn't, crying harder by the minute.
"Ah, fu– uhh...do you wanna go to Mommy? Let's go to mommy." He nodded at her, trying to distract her.
This kid would be the death of him. Even his bodyguards were looking at him as if he literally failed to stop a kid's crying.
"What?" He asked his bodyguards who were stifling their laughs at the father who was having a hard time carrying his daughter.
They quickly shook their heads as Jimin clicked his tongue in annoyance, continuing to walk out.
As soon as he walked out, the reporters and fans surrounded him and he gave a nervous chuckle to them as their attention went to Effie.
Effie was too used to all the crowd and cameras so she continued crying nonetheless, burying her face in her father's shoulder and kicking her little legs.
The reporters obviously started asking questions about why the little girl was crying as his bodyguards moved them away but Jimin knew they'd make some real big news out of Effie crying so he stopped for a second.
"Jimin, why is she crying?" He heard the question out a reporters mouth.
"Because she wants a pizza at this time." He answered casually before walking away, spotting Lorraine.
"Hey." He huffed standing in front of her and finally at relief. Effie turned her head to meet Lorraine's, her tears embracing her puffy cheeks as she whimpered.
"Why is she crying?" Lorraine gently asked Jimin and he just shook his head, giving her a cheeky smile.
"What happened, baby?" She asked Effie, who let out a cry before going into Lorraine's arms who took her from Jimin. He sighed in relief. "I thought you enjoyed there with daddy."
Effie continued crying, now in Lorraine's shoulders as the Mother gave Jimin a questioning look.
"She's becoming demanding day by day." Jimin said, taking Lorraine's shoulders as they got inside the car.
Effie clung onto Lorraine like a koala, resting her cheek on her chest as she looked at Jimin who was sitting at her side in the car.
Her eyes all red and still brimming with tears, cheeks and lips flushed. She sniffled as her eyes locked with her father's. Jimin gulped, not knowing what to say to the little girl who was literally his life. The amount of affection and care he stored for her made his skin crawl even if there was a single mosquito bite on her.
His eyes shifted to Lorraine as he saw him already looking at him with a questioning gaze.
"She just...got scolded..." He murmured, not really proud of it.
Lorraine chuckled, stroking her silky hair as Effie turned her face away from Jimin, making his heart sink.
"Did daddy scare you?" She asked tenderly and the girl instantly nodded, a whimper escaping her throat.
"H-He said...he said he'd leave me alone..."
Lorraine looked at Jimin, giving him a 'seriously?' look but her actions were subtle. Jimin guiltily scratched the back of his head but his eyes softened as he looked at sobbing girl, heart melting.
"Effie," He called, brushing his hand over her arm. "Come here."
He nudged her towards himself but Effie clung onto Lorraine for dear life with a loud and sharp shriek, not wanting to go to Jimin.
"Eff..." Jimin whispered, chest aching at the sudden ignorance from his daughter.
Jimin was attached to Eff, he was possessive and tended to show his love through whatever he could. Bring her gifts, never scold her and play with her. It wasn't usually like this. Him and Lorraine had worked a lot on how to regulate their and their kid's emotions. How to handle situations healthily. But still, Jimin had a tendency to pamper her and perhaps that was the reason she was so demanding and never expected Jimin to scold her.
"Would you not go to daddy, baby?" Lorraine asked, kissing the crown of her head.
"He–" She hiccupped loudly. "He'll take me to the airport and leave me alone."
"I won't." Jimin said, "Please come to me."
Effie looked at Jimin for a few solid seconds before lifting her arms at Jimin to pick her up and he quickly did so, making his daughter straddle his lap.
"Daddy is sorry, sweetheart." He smiled gently, watching the girl trying to stop crying. He cupped her face, wiping her tears with his thumb. "I won't leave you, I promise. I'll always stay close baby, I could never leave you. The thought itself feels like dying."
The little girl furrowed her eyebrows.
"Dying? Daddy are you gonna die?" She asked, grazing her small palm on her father's cheek. "But–but whom will I marry if you die?"
"What?" He asked.
"Yes! I heard you marry the man you love so I'm gonna marry daddy!"
Jimin gaped at his daughter, a fit of nervous giggles leaving his mouth as he looked at the innocent girl. He looked at Lorraine who was stifling his laughter.
"Baby, I love you but Daddy can stay married to Mommy and Mommy only."
Effie's lips instantly furrowed, tears once again welling up her eyes as she burst into tears once again, wailing and shouting at Lorraine that her dad was hers and only hers.
Continuing her tantrum until Jimin had to finally agree that he'd marry her and she stopped crying, clinging onto Jimin as always.
"Daddy, what's carnal treasure? Is it some sort of treasure? I want it too!"
Both Lorraine and Jimin sighed, knowing it was going to be a long day.

Jimin debated between a rom-com to some real shit fantasy, already finished with his bucket of popcorn before even starting the movie on his TV.
They were back in their home in Los Angeles and it was night time already. Jimin was sitting on their couch, scrolling through the movies on Netflix.
While Effie on the other hand...
She was sitting on the top of the sofa behind Jimin, her legs dangling down Jimin's shoulders as she continued doing her barbie hair-do on Jimin. Combing his hair with a toy brush and adding some glittery clips on them, trying to make plates of them but failing miserably.
"Daddy, why is your hair purple?"
"Because I want it to be." Jimin answered.
Effie innocently furrowed her eyebrows, attaching a pink glittery clip to his hair.
"So, I want my hair pink, can I have them?"
"After you turn fifteen at least."
"Fifteen? Fifteen is a big number, daddy, I want them now."
"Uh... Why don't you ask mommy about it?"
"Do you ask mommy before changing your hair colour?"
Jimin snorted. "I ask for her permission even before changing my handkerchief, okay." He mumbled.
She went back to her hair-do over Jimin, messing and tangling his hair to the peak until it looked like a nest as she mumbled incoherent words and acted as if she was literally a hair stylist.
It made Jimin wonder if she'd be an actress like her Mom. Because Effie just acted like so.
"Eff, what do you wanna be when you're older?"
Effie gasped, her eyebrows shooting up as she thought what she could be.
"I wanna be a unicorn." She answered, sliding down Jimin's shoulder to sit on his lap.
Jimin pursed his lips, holding back his laugh.
"Okay," He giggled. "Sure, you can be a unicorn. Sleep, let's sleep."
He lightly kissed the girl's head and in return Effie left a soft kiss on his lips, taking him by surprise. She giggled softly, showing her perfect white teeth.
"Sweet, sweet Jesus." Jimin whispered, a smile forming on his lips as he cupped the little girl's face.
He wrapped his hands around the girl's shoulders as she rested her head on his chest, patting her head to make her sleep.
