When the limo stopped Dave got out and opened the limo door for the chipmunks to get out.

Brittany tried to get out then fell on the pavement with an "Ow!" Suddenly Alvin jumped out next..but he wasn't watching where he was going. He miscalculated his aim and landed on Brittany with a thud. Simon calculated his jump and landed perfectly.

"Ow! Alvin! Get off!" She yelped.

"Whoops." Alvin said getting off Brittany sheepishly. "Sorry Britt."

Brittany reached out for Alvin. "It's okay Alvin but-"

"Whoa! Theadore made Elounore cake! That's my little bro!" Cutting Brittany off he ran towards them and clumsily caused mud to fly from his paws in Brittany s face.

"Alvin!" Brittany called after him in frustration.

"Alvin!" Dave called after him and running. "I told you to go to bed! It's too late for cake and-" His voice trailed off in the distance.

"Dave! You forgot your wallet in the limo!" Jeanette called carrying Dave's wallet and running after him.

Simon walked over to Brittany and reached a paw out to help her up.

Brittany took it and sighed. "Thanks Simon. I really appreciate that. I'm a mess."

"It's no problem Brittany."

Brittany sighed. Well we'd better go inside. Before Dave and Alvin get in too much of a chaos again." Brittany ran inside.

Simon sighed. "You're not a mess Brittany. I'm the mess but for you." He said to the darkness of the night and went inside.

"Okay guys. Goodnight and good job performing tonight. I'm proud of you." Dave said. He flipped off the light and left."

"Thank you for the cake and necklace Theo." Elounore said. Theodore along with the cake had given Elounore a green diamond half heart necklace that had her initials in it and he had a matching necklace with the other half of the heart with his initials. He had finally asked Elounore to be his girlfriend and even called it a boyfriend proposal which Elounore had found utterly adorable. But then again it was Theadore.

"No problem Ele. I love you."

"Love you too Theo!"

Within seconds the newest couple were asleep.

"Goodnight Alv--" Brittany started to say to Alvin but was interrupted by his snoring.

"Ugh." She turned over and fell asleep.

"Simon? Are you sure you're okay? I know you said you were but I just wanted to make sure." Jeanette said nervously.

Simon felt a pang of guilt. Of course it wasn't Jeanettes fualt. She was just trying to help. It wasn't her fualt he was a mess.

"Ya Jeanette. I'm just really---he yawned" Tired....I shouldn't have snapped at you. You were just trying to help."

" It's okay Simon. It happens." She turned over and whispered.

"I love you Simon."

"I love you too Jeanette."

Simon knew he should have been happy or relieved that Jeanette was not upset or mad at him however when he closed his eyes the only thing he felt was his tears against his closed eyelids.
