A/N: I made this story because you guys seem to like my Alvin and the Chipmunks stories the most and I wanted to see how you'd all react to a little love square twist. Pictures are not mine...

"I'm everything you want!"

"I'm everything you need!'

"But I mean nothing to you... and I dont know why."

It was the end of the Chipmunks and Chipettes concert for the night and they were packing up for the night.

"That was amazing you guys!" Theadore said excitingly still pumped from singing and the cheering fans.

"Ya!" Elounor agreed.

"Amazing?! Amazing?! Ir was aaaaweeessssoooommme!" Alvin came out from behind the curtain where his brothers and the chipettes were standing.

He skidded to Brittany and twirled her around excitedly.  Back a few years ago Alvin and Brittany would've denied any intimate feelings they had for one another but they had finally confessed and were now dating. It surprised the others that Alvin and Brittany would be the first couple of them dating. The others had feelings for one another but hadn't dated.

"It was pretty cool...don't you think Simon?" Jeanette looked at him for confirmation.

"Ya...." Simon said slowly quickly looking away from Alvin who had his arms wrapped around Brittany.

Simon awkwardly stuck his paws in the pockets of his tuxedo he was wearing.  He wasn't sure why he felt so confused and upset whenever he saw Brittany and Alvin together.  He just did.

"Oh..." Said Jeanette softly studying Simon seeming confused as to why he looked so sad.

Simon glanced up quickly and gave Jeanette what he hoped to seem like a reassuring smile.

"It's alright Jeanette. It was fantastic really. " He said. 

Simon really liked Jeanette and didn't want her to feel bad about his problems of not understanding his feelings.

"Ya! lets go then!" Said Alvin happily as he wrapped his paw around Brittanys and they walked out hand in hand.

For some reason Simon couldn't look any longer and the lyrics repeated in his head from the concert.
