When the chipmunks woke up the next morning they were still tired from their performance the night before. Elounor opened her eyes than looked over at Theadore smiling who was returning her smile.

"Good morning Theadoreable."

"Haha good morning Ellie." Theadore said happily with a cute faint blush on his cheeks.

"Hey, where's Alvin?" Asked Jeanette suddenly. The others turned and noticed there was in fact no Alvin.

Brittany groaned. "Probably causing trouble again. Poor Simon always has to get that fool out of trouble."

Simon laughed awkwardly unsure of how to respond since Brittany recognized out of the few of them the efforts that he went through for his older brother. He blushed and rubbed the back of his neck.

"Haha, yeah." He said.

Recognizing that this was an unusual typical response coming from Simon,  Jeanette looked at him queastionly.

Some time later when everyone was dressed they all went downstairs to look for Alvin. Suddenly there was a scream coming from Elounor as she had spotted Alvin. There laying across the kitchen table was a sleeping Alvin. However the cake that was on the table had about half the cake missing. They easily spotted the culprit as the evidence was around Alvin's mouth.

"Alvin!" Theadore angrily shouted Alvin's name waking him up instantly.

"Huh why are you shouting?" Alvin asked sleepily rubbing his eyes.

"It's too early for this and--"

"Why did you eat mine and Elounors cake?! There's only half of it remaining Alvin!" Theadore shouted.

Alvin stared at him in shock. Theadore had never raised his voice at him before.

"Well, your cake looked so good and I guess I got carried away. I was only going to eat one slice and-"

Alvin stopped seeing Theadore had tears in his eyes as he glared at Alvin not having any of it.

Elounor stared at Alvin sadly and suddenly bolted from the room crying.

"I think you'd better save your excuses for someone who cares Alvin." Theadore said as he turned away and ran after his girlfriend.

"I'm really sorry guys." Alvin said guiltily.

"Sometimes sorry isn't good enough Alvin." Brittany said angrily.

She turned and left as well to get ready for school. Simon put a paw on Jeanettes back and led her away.

"So what did Dave say to Alvin?" Jeanette asked Simon as her, Simon and Brittany walked down the hall togeather.

"Well he grounded Alvin for a month and told him he  needed to bake a new cake for Theadore and Elounore." Simon answered.

"Good. That Alvin is the most selfish chipmunk sometimes he--" Brittany suddenly trailed off and froze staring at something.

"Whats wrong Britt?" Jeanette asked her. Simon tapped her and turned her attention to the scene in front of them. Alvin was flirting with a girl. However it was Alvin's words that really broke Brittanys heart.

"Of course you're beautiful Jolie. You're amazing." Alvin bent down and took Jolies hand, holding on to her pointer finger with both paws.

"Evening more amazing and beautiful than Brittany?"

"Of course. Brittany is great, but you my lady are the perfect example of perfection." Alvin bent his head and  affectionely kissed the back of her finger mimicking the classical gentleman way of kissing a lady's hand. However Alvin's actions were anything but gentlemanly.

"Brittany?" Jeanette worriedly turned to her sister. "Are you oka-"

Brittany not answering turned away and ran the opposite direction as a tear ran down her cheek and onto the cold floor.
