Nishika smiled and beamed with pleasure and at the same moment Arjun walks toward the door and for his surprise, his daughter giggled for the first time. He looked up at the stranger who made this happened but life is unpredictable the one standing on his door was none other than his Princess holding his little princess in her arm. His heart filled with emotions and eyes filled with tears of joy "My princesses" he murmured leaning against the wall and smiled upon the scene before him.

They all walk inside the home but Arjun still stood leaning against the wall with his arms folded across his chest and his eyes on his two beautiful princesses.

Nishi nodded in his direction and slightly smiled, "Her Arjun had turned very handsome but his beautiful hazel eyes look dull, his face was unreadable and deprived of any emotions," she thought.

"Dadu" Nishika smiled and looked at Anand "mumma, my mommy ,dadu", she chirped.

Nishi eyes filled with tear to see Anand on wheel chair, "Anand paa I am your Nishi" she kneels down and said.

Anand softly rubs his hand on her hair "how can I forget my daughter" he said and smiled "you have fever bachha(child)."

"Yes paa but now I will be fine" she said and got up from her sitting position.

Nishika was still in her arms looking affectionately at her. A smile erupted on her lips she cheerfully she kissed her nose "My little princess," Nishika laughed like a tinkling bell.

Anand, Arpita, Arjun and Neel eyes were filled with tears, they never heard Nishika laughing before but today she was laughing, smiling and that just due to Nishi.

"Neel, please call daddy and tell him that we are at Anand paa" she said her eyes were gleaming with happiness which Neel had never seen in these eight years.

"Yes di" Neel said and went to other room to call Navneet.

"Hey dad," he cheerfully said.

"Finally you guys called up, I was tensed, Nishi didn't called me after reaching Pune" his voice shows worry.

"Job done, plan A successfully completed" Neel said.

"How is Nishi?" he asked his voice shows concern about his daughter.

"Di have fever but I know she will be fine, Arjun is in shock but he will also be fine, you know Nishika is calling di mommy" he said happily.

"Finally something good is happening in your sister's life, he took a deep breath, "Ok son take care of her"

Arjun didn't said a single word since Nishi arrived, he was just looking upon happy faces, "due to you Nishi my family is smiling, after three years they look happy and contended" he thought.

Arjun lightly smiled looking at Nishi who was holding his daughter as if she is her own baby. His trance brakes with Nishi's sweet childish voice.

"Arpita maa I am hungry" Nishi said like a daughter is asking her mother for food.

"Arjun please help me in setting dinner" Arpita requested.

"Sure mom" Arjun replied and walk inside the kitchen.

Nishi sat on the chair with Nishika on her lap "Nishika come to daddy" Arjun tries to take her from Nishi but child was adamant she laid her head on Nishi's shoulder and smiled at Arjun.

"Princess" he said again but this time both his princess, Nishi and Nishika looked up at him, "I mean Nishika" he said but his eyes were fixed on Nishi.

"Nishi aunty is not well let her have dinner" Arjun again tried but Nishika glanced at Arjun "Mommy" she pointed her finger at Nishi "Da..ddy... she is my mommy" she hopefully looked back at Nishi as if asking her that she is really her mommy. Nishi without saying a word kissed her forehead and that made Nishika squealed with joy "what you will have for dinner darling" Nishi pulled her cheeks and asked.

"Dud..du." (Milk) Nishika cheekily replied.

"Here is your bowl of milk sonna come, daddy will feed you" Arjun again pushed his arms to pick pick her up but this time Nishi rudely glared "I am no stranger" she furiously said to him.

"Nishi I will prepare guest room for you," Arpita said, "you are staying here", she added again.

"Yes maa I am staying, Maa she is asleep" Nishi smiled looking at her little princess and said.

"If you don't mind then please take Nishika to Arjun, she always sleep with him," Arpita gestures towards the door.

"Sure maa" Nishi replied with smile.

"I am also staying Arpita maa" Neel interrupted them with smile.

Nishi heart was beating faster "what will she answer to Arjun when he will ask her, why she stopped messaging him, but reality is he never replied back" she thought, still standing on his door with sleeping Nishika in her arm, she took a deep breath and entered his room.

Arjun was lying on the bed; he was facing away from the door so she was not able to see if he is awake or sleeping. She slowly walk towards the bed and gently laid Nishika behind him "mo..m..my" Nishika wailed in her sleep. Arjun turned and pulled Nishika towards him and glared at Nishi.

Nishi was not able to stand there, she was not able to see Arjun her love, her best friend in pain so she turned and tried to walk but legs were shaking. She holds the side table to steady her and took a deep breath "I am going back to Neel apartment" she said.

She want to go away from here but before she walks away , Arjun got up and ran to her in lightning speed, "What do you think of yourself , some kind of princess" he angrily pulled her towards him .

Nishi kept her head on his chest, a sob erupted her lips she looked at him her eyes were filled with tears, "yes I m princess!! Your princess" she proudly said.

Arjun wrapped his arm around her shoulder and pulled her closer, "you look different" he whispered.

Nishi slightly smiled "eight years Arjun."

"Yes eight years, you promised that you will always write to me" he questioned.

"You never replied so I," Arjun put his finger on her lips.

"So you broke your promise" he angrily asked.

"You are the one who never kept the promise how you can question me" she said tears streaming down her face.

He again pulled her towards him, "you know I was so scared when you stopped writing to me, I asked dad to call Navneet paa and then we got the news that you have shifted to NY."

He touched his forehead with hers, "I missed my princess."

"I am not a good friend I always bring problem in your life," he said and sat on the bed, he looked at Nishika "what I have done to my daughter, she never smiled before, my dad on wheel chair and mom is weak just due to me."

"you took good care of your family like a good son and best father, what's done is done but don't ruin your future due to your past mistakes." Nishi said and continued, "Everything will be fine if you bring back our old Arjun," she cupped his cheeks and kneels down to his eye level.

"You need to change for your family, for your daughter for us, Arjun"

Arjun patted his bed Nishi got up and sat beside him "I will try" he said keeping his head on her lap.

"Mommy.. mommy" Nishika sobbed in her sleep.

"She was never like this, she use to be very quiet child but today" Arjun said.

Nishi patted Nishika back with her left hand and with her right hand she rubbed Arjun's hair "but today she met her mom Arjun"

"No Nishi, please don't give her wrong hopes," Arjun pleaded.

"I call Anand uncle paa , Arpita aunty maa, you call my parents maa and paa, then why can't this little princess can call me maa"

"I don't know Nishi, I really don't know," he sat straight removing Nishi's palm from his hair.

"I will sleep with Neel you stay here with Nishika and she is scared of darkness so keep the light on." he said.

"Aljun !! I am your princess."

Arjun turned and kissed her forehead, "yes!! You both are my princess take care of your daughter," he rubbed her tears with his thumb and walk out.
