MI? Mission Impossible? Mission Improbable? Not being from the US, the state abbreviations could mean all sorts to me. I'll give in, though, and assume you mean Michigan. Or Mississippi... Erm... Oh for Google! It doesn't reach into the asylum, unfortunately – and Google gets everywhere! Do you like living there? If not, where would your favourite place to live be? Is yes, where would you least like to live?

I do enjoy living here but if I could pick I would live in Memphis TN! I love it there!

Other than being a stay at home mommy & wife yes I guess it is!

Oh, I'm pretty sure being a mum and wife are full time jobs! And, tell me about your latest project.

I have many projects. Latest one is a werewolf fantasy story. One where the teen wolf never met his father's side of the family before. But he knows he got his wolf powers from them. When his mother passes away he goes to find his half brothers, and hopes to find his father! This will be in the Wattpad Block Party book coming in AUG! It is called Moonbeams!

Sounds cool. I like werewolves. Well, I've never met one and I assume they have anger issues. I'm sure they're nice really. How do you feel about bacon? A crazy person once said it was the food of the gods. OK, I admit that person was myself...

I love it. I like to have it with pancakes. I have always wanted to try chocolate bacon. Never had.

Chocolate bacon. I can't believe this is a real thing. My life now feels devoid! What is your favourite film?

Cry Baby. It is a cheesy movie with Johnny Depp in it. Johnny plays Wade Walker, AKA Cry Baby. He runs a gang of misfits who are called the Drapes.

Johnny Depp, Ricki Lake and John Waters. What a mix! Have you always wanted to be a writer, or is it something you found yourself doing one day?

I have always dreamed of a writer. I am a big reader as well as a writer. I have been writing since I was a teen.

That's great. It certainly appears your dreams are coming true. Do you have so many ideas they dribble out of your nose if you don't get them down, or do you have to hunt around the floor and the back of your sofa to find where your Muse is hiding?

Mine are in notebooks too, in the back of my poor little over stuffed noggin. My ideas like to pop up on me in the middle of the night.

The crafty little monkeys. How dashed rude of them. Are they on a different time zone, like you and I? Maybe they think it's lunch time. They are just waiting for you to make them a sandwich and drop the words! If you were in an asylum, what would your particular delusion or psychosis be?

I probably would have an imaginary friend who I talk to lol. My guess I would see things I want to see that others don't notice.

Awww, Dalaina has a fwend! Trust me, you're not the only one in here with imaginary friends. Many of the people in here speak to people who aren't there and don't to those who are. Embrace it. Figuratively rather than really – you'd look odd with your arms up as if you were hugging the air. What genre(s) do you write?

I write fantasy romance to paranormal romance. I do dabble with fanfic from time to time.

Excellent. That actually sounds really interesting – romance but with a sprinkling of different. What genres(s) do you read?

Fantasy & romance.

For some, romance is a fantasy. For others fantasy is romantic! Good mix! If these are the same, what attracts you to them? If they're different, why do you think that is?

I love the idea of an everday life not being normal. That is what catches my attention to them. Something that would never ever happen just might be able to happen.

Absolutely! Who wants to be normal? Normal is boring! Saying that, I would love to be normal. Abnormal gets a bit draining sometimes. Even being in the asylum doesn't exactly help. It'd definitely not what I expected it to be. You're entering your work into the Wattys for 2016. Watt story (do you see what I did there?) are you entering? Tell us about it!

I am entering two stories Pounce is my first ever werewolf series plus it is going to be in the upcoming Summer Wattpad Block Party. I am very proud of how well it is doing.

That's fantastic. It's good to be proud of your work. And a party? Where was my invite? Is it still in the post? It'll be in the post, won't it. Winging its way here. OK. I'm patient. I can wait. See you there, eh? Ah, but now you're in the asylum with me, how do you aim to get out? Do you have an escape plan?

I plan to have my friend lol be my look out to help me escape.

Can they look out for me, too? Not for escaping, but I really need to pee and they like to make you wait for as long as possible in here. It's not pretty. Luckily Mucus Mickey has plenty of tissue for cleanup...
