Today we will be interviewing EmanAlAdl.

Firstly, tell us a little bit about yourself. (Name, place, age, likes, dislikes, personality, etc)

My name is Eman, an Egyptian girl living in KSA. Reaching the age of 15 this May 19th, I grew up loving art and I always kept a little sketch book where I drew whatever crossed my mind. Few years after, I started writing short stories and illustrating the scenes beside their descriptive paragraphs. I started working on my best to enhance my skills in both these hobbies but writing wasn't serious until I got too attached to books, finishing reading one in a few hours or a day at the most, I got an idea for the novel I'm currently writing and started working on it on December 11th, 2015. I'm an introverted extrovert. Though, the name may not possibly exist,  I find it what defines my personality. I'm a nature admirer, in fact, a walk through trees and little shrubs will change my mood from 0 - 100 real quick. I'm also a caffeine addict. I can't start my day without getting my proper dose of coffee. I admit, it has affected my health a bit and I tried quitting but it didn't work but I'll try again, though. I hate drama, exaggerated cliché books and movies, current generation (yes, I know I belong to them but believe me, the society is getting worse everyday.) I guess that's enough about myself, a lot actually, so let's move to the next question.

When and why did you join Wattpad?

I joined Wattpad on December 14th, 2015. After I wrote the first chapter of my book, I sent it to my friends privately to know what do they think of it. Surprisingly, they liked it and this is when I decided to share it on Wattpad, exactly a day after I joined.

Why did you start this account?

escaperealityxx , a really great wattpad friend of mine, messaged me about an idea of making a joint account for science fiction contests and I found it an amazing chance to help other authors as well as get to know them better. I'm in love with the idea. I'm getting to know the admins and they're of the best you can ever meet, trust me.

What is your favourite book that you have written and why?

I'm on my first novel currently and I really love it. I've never sacrificed my sleep for anything but I do stay up all night to finish its chapters.
Through this novel, I can express all the thoughts, views and feelings that I couldn't express without everyone getting bored. The book has a message I'm trying my best to convey, a message I always believed in and I hope for my readers to understand it through the lines of the book.

If you were going to give advice to aspiring authors, what would you tell them?

Never give up on your work. If you love it, write it and finish it. Life is too short and you have to do what pleases you or else you'll regret it. Have confidence in your work and remember, numbers don't define it, the number of views, votes, comments, etc, never define a book, ONLY what your book has inside is what matters. So, square your shoulders, sit straight, bring some coffee and start turning your abstract thoughts into words.
That is all I would say.

What is your favourite genre?

Science Fiction.

If you could pick one book, either on Wattpad or published, that you had to read over and over again, what would you pick?

The Picture Of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde. On Oodles, an application for classical books, I downloaded this novel and started reading it. I loved it and I went to the bookstore searching for the printed copy. I was so happy when I found a collection of all Oscar Wilde's works and purchased it. On that same day, I read the book all over again and I never got bored of it.
