☕|How did you discover Wattpad?

warishaahmed:One of my friend told me about Wattpad...since I use to get bored a lot and I liked reading so she told me to download it.

☕|What inspired you to write?

warishaahmed:Nothing as such inspired me,I like writing so I thought why not try to write a story?If it works,good for me and God Forbid if it doesn't then also no issues,atleast I wouldn't have any regrets that I didn't try. Afterall,when Wattpad is offering you such a good platform then why not utilise it to the fullest!

☕|Tell me about your books!

warishaahmed:Umm..my books?? *points finger at myself* What to say about my books?? Mmm...you guys should tell me about my books *laughs*.

Coming back to the question,well my very first book is Ehsaas...a feeling.a story of a girl who lost both of her parents and a boy who is very arrogant,introvert like almost lead actor's are!

Then my next book is His Wife Or His Maid which, Allahamdulilah got lot of love from everyone.And actually this book got more famous than my first book.All my books are very dear to me but this one will always be special.because through thus book people started noticing me,and I started getting mails,messages to write for a certain blog,topic...and what not.

My third book is Shadow Of My Past which comes under mystery/thriller tag.Now this book was a huge challenge to me because I never thought that I can write a mystery story.I'm a very curious person and I just can't stand suspense so how can I write this story?But again I tried and by the grace of God and with the help of my readers I started writing it. It soon got ranked under top 5 and this made my heart go thump!

And now whenever I write the chapter,I also start behaving like a reader and get excited and nervous that what's going to happen next in my story?

Then I have my fourth book which is Changing Relations,it's also one of my favourite books,where you'll see how both of the actors are trying to understand and accept each other.And Allahamdulilah like my other books,this also got popular.My beautiful readers have given me immense love...and in fact just because of them I try to write somthing different evrytime.Like these days I'm going crazy to write a werewolf story!!

Gosh!! That was a very long answer...!! *Phew*

☕|What are your favourite books on Wattpad?

warishaahmed:I've read so many books that it's literally hard for me to pick, but still I'll try!!BM3- A Muslim Love Story.This story will always be on the top of my favourite section.

Unconditionally-the begining of the revelation.I was so hooked to this book that I even started seeing dreams of this book.*Hahahahaha*And the list can go on and on....

☕|Your favourite authors?

warishaahmed:Favourite Authors are Charles Dickens,William Shakespeare, Jane Austen,Stephenie Meyer,Ravinder Singh and Chetan Bhagat only for Five Point Someone.

Favourite Authors in Wattpad has to be ReganUre, issabelleronin, Sannyaahhh, abdofRahman, HopesPrayersNSmiles.

☕|How do you deal with Writer's block?

warishaahmed:Alhamdulilah, I've never dealt with Writer's Block

☕|Do you recieve hate comments?If yes,What is your response?

warishaahmed:Yes,I did recieve hate comments.Firstly I use to ignore them but then they started increasing day by day,So I did reply to them politely,but no..they won't listen...and then I lost my mind. I still remember that one day I was soooo angry that I poured all my anger out on my Author's Note and then I was so adamant on not posting any more chapters,unless they will understand my work. Then, I got a message from my fellow reader and I'm extremely sorry for not remembering her name. I'm very bad at remembering names and sometimes,I even forget my character's name!! *Laughs*. So yeah she messaged me and very easily made me calm down.From that day onwards,I just started ignoring them or I simply skip reading hate comments.

☕|Would you publish a Paperwork in future?

warishaahmed:Yes, I would surely publish.I'm just waiting for the right time.

☕|As a writer,what have you learned so far?

warishaahmed:As a writer first and foremost thing that I learned, is to believe in myself.If my confidence is not up to the mark then how will I make my readers believe in my work? Then I learned to accept and appreciate criticism,or you will never grow or improve as a writer. We writers (not all but some) tend to have enormous egos when it comes to their works,so to appreciate critiques of your work can be challenging,but the rewards are endless.

Also, I've learned where my grammatical errors are and how to correct them,although I'm clearly still struggling with learning when it is and is not appropriate to correct such things.If I hadn't joined wattpad,I would never have had this insight.I would also have never discovered that people value my writing.But the whole experience led me to a whole new path that I would never have discovered if I had just sat alone in a room churning out written material.

☕|Do you like clichè?

warishaahmed:Totally depends on my mood. Sometimes I like and sometimes I'm like Nah...It's the same old thing!!

☕How has Wattpad impacted your life?

warishaahmed: I have found a hidden talent that I never knew I had,only because of Wattpad.I am able to embrace and encourage this new talent within myself and I am amazed at the amount of empathy within me that I never knew was there.This site had made me open up to new ideas and concepts,giving me a better outlook on the world of knowledge around me.every time I log onto this site,I am confident of my writing abilities and my delivery of a thought or ideas to others in a manner that is easily understood and entertaining to read. This site had offered advise,correction,appreciation,love and even the cold harsh truth,when no one else in your life can.I enjoy the safety,this site ensures when you are practicing the act of being blatantly honest to perfect strangers,allowing you to let down your guard and truly explore your inner thoughts and express them out. Whenever I am stumped as to what to do, or how to act,or what to say...I just log onto this site and release my inhibitions and air out confusing stresses.

Thank you,for all of my new discoveries about me,and about the power of knowledge.If you wouldn't have decided to take my interview then I would still have been kept away from this reality,that how Wattpad has influenced my life without even letting me know.
