3)" What are your hobbies?"

Music is one of my biggest hobbies. writing, recording, performing – all of it. i also love reading and swimming.

4) "When did you start writing and why?"

I think i started writing on wattpad all the way back in 2014/15. i’d done a lot of song writing prior to this, but never sat down and wrote an entire novel. it had always been a great outlet for me, and i’d read a lot of stories on here, so i wanted to try my hand at it.

5) "Which was your first story generally?"

My first story has actually been deleted now.. it was a marvel avengers preferences book. i actually really regret removing it because that was my first work, and i was so proud of it at the time. it wasn’t particularly popular or anything, but that was my starting point on here – it will always have a special place in my heart.

6) "Do you write in some other website except Wattpad?"

Not really. i do most of my writing in wattpad, but i do often use notes in my phone to work out the outlines of my story or to write down random ideas.

7) "What has given you motive to keep on writing?"

i have some very dedicated fans, particularly for GS, and their constant love and support is one of the main reasons i keep writing. i love knowing that my work provides an escape for people, some sort of solace, as it does the same for me. the reads and votes and comments aren’t what matters – it’s the people that do. wattpad, and my followers in particular, has been a wonderful community. i’ve been on here for nearly 6 years now, and it’s always been the people that inspire me to keep writing. and obviously the fact that i just enjoy doing it.

8 )"Have you ever wanted to give up everything? (writing I mean)"

i’ve wanted to, and have given it up at times. i’ve had a rocky couple of years in my personal life – and i’ve often felt too deflated or uninspired to write. but that’s human, and you’re always able to come back to these things. i never wanted to force myself to write, as i knew the strain would be reflected in my work. sometimes a break and time to refresh is all you need to be inspired.

9) "Which is your favorite story on Wattpad?"

favourite story i’ve written would have to be Going Solo – that story is so personal and is hands down my best work. as for stories i’ve read, it’s impossible to choose. anything by @fatbottomedgirls is always a great read, i also just finished reading ‘Click, Click” by @mendes-mercury and thoroughly enjoyed that. i’m always updating my reading lists with books that i love.

10) "Have you gained any friendship from Wattpad? If yes, which are your Wattpad friends?"

i’ve made a lot of good friends on wattpad. @styliest and @catalinalagranda that do the translations for GS, @daydreamhes and @lipsthatlied have always been a great support to me. @fatbottomedgirls are always lovely. @reviewsbylou and @niallsxbby are also wonderful. i could go on and on !!

11) "Do you relate with any of your characters from your books? If yes, which one and which characteristics are similar?"

well, as i’m sure many people have realised by now, the carys in GS is very heavily based on my own characteristics. her physical features, her passion for music, her stubbornness - she’s kind of the idealised version of myself. for more of an insight into my mind, i would suggest taking a look at ‘my internal monologue’.

12) "What did you study /are you studying/do you want to study?"

so i’m on a gap year at the moment, but i just finished college where i did a levels in music technology, law and history, with an extended project qualification focused on rock’n’roll music and production methods in america in the late 1960s. i’ll be going to university next year to study music and sound recording.

13)" Describe yourself in 3 words."

loyal, honest and passionate.

14) "What do you advise new writers?"

just write. even if you don’t share it or aren’t proud of it, we all have to start somewhere. god knows my first works were shocking !! read lots, write lots and you’ll find your style soon enough.

15)" Questions based on ' Going Solo' : How were you inspired to write this story?"

i wanted to read a story about harry and his solo career that was based on reality. i’d read some fantastic AU’s, but nothing real. so i thought i’d just write my own story, and that’s essentially how GS started. i’d already created this reality in my head, where i was part of the narrative, so i just had to write it down and develop it into a novel. GS has been a wonderful creative outlet for me in that sense. i adore harry so so much, and it’s been nice to insert myself into his reality in some way.

16)" Who's your favourite character in the book and why? "

i think the version of harry that i’ve created is my favourite character. i believe it’s a really honest depiction of him, and a lot of my readers feel the same way. i try really hard to encapsulate everyone’s favourite aspects of him, and i truly feel i’ve succeeded at that.

17)"Honestly ... why this end?"

gosh people were so unhappy with the ending of GS, but i wanted a cliff-hanger. i wanted to leave the readers in suspense. too many stories end perfectly, and that’s just not real. i wanted GS to feel real, and i think i achieved that with this ending – however much it may have hurt to write !!

18)"If you were asked to publish your book , would you do it?"

of course it would be amazing to get an offer to publish my book – i’d like to think i’d say yes to it because it’s such a great opportunity, but in reality i’m not sure i would. GS is so obviously fanfiction, and i don’t think the market is ready for that to sell as a mainstream thing. i’m perfectly content with GS remaining on wattpad, that’s where the true fans are anyway.

19)"Which is your favourite a) funny, b) dramatic, c) romantic, d) sad scene in the book ?"

a) there’s no standout funny scene, but i think any moment where harry tries to tell a joke is hilarious. i love writing him with this old dad sense of humour.

b) my favourite dramatic scene was probably the one where sam comes back for the second time. that was so unbelievably personal for me, and the way carys stood up to him – i wish every woman could have that strength.

c) hands down the best romantic scene is when they are at abbey road together. those few chapters are so full of love and the way harry talks about carys in his interview is beautiful.

d) the last chapter is definitely the saddest, no doubt about it.

20) " A phrase or a scene that you write and you'll never forget.(and why)"

the scenes in abbey road or anything with stevie nicks are definitely the most memorable moments for me. they’re such inspirational things to me, and being able to include that in my story means so much.

21) " How much time did it take to plan the whole plot?"

planning the plot has always been an ongoing thing. before i started writing, i had to do maybe two days of research to create a basic timeline and make sure all my facts were straight as the story is tied so closely to reality. but the details kind of developed as the story did.

22)" How many unpublished and half-finished books do you have?"

so I have 2 completed stories, 3 ongoing and 1 unpublished.

23) "Any spoilers for future plans?"

well, the sequel to GS will be out soon – it’s called ‘Break the Chain’ and i’m so excited to share it with everyone !! i’d also like to focus more of my time onto finishing my ongoing works called ‘Our Life in Notes’ and ‘nova.’

CRITICAL QUESTIONS

So for 'critical questions' on my last interviews I decided to base them on a tumblr post I saw which made a question out if a Taylor Swift song, if that makes sense. For you I chose the album '1989' You don't have to know the song but just an information I wanted to add. And the songs for you are:

1) "Wildest Dreams: If you had 24 hours to do anything you wanted, what would you do?"

if i had 24 hours to do anything i wanted, i’d love to spend it meeting my idols and listening to great music. just imagine being in a room with stevie nicks, mick jagger, maggie roggers, tash sultana, harry styles, adele and more and just listening to some great music. my idea of heaven for 24 hours.

2) "How You Get the Girl: What’s the best way to capture your heart?"

very few people have been able to capture my heart… but the best way to do it is a love of music, a sense of humour, and honesty. that’s all i’d ever ask of a partner.
