Here we go with heskindaharry
1) "Name?"
Karla.
2) "Age?"
21.
3)" What are your hobbies?"
Besides writing and reading? I enjoy photography and like an old lady, knitting.
4) "When did you start writing and why?"
I started writing when I was little so maybe 7 or something. I had a class for English learners and one of my teachers realized that I had dyslexia. She encouraged me to continue writing and challenge myself. I began writing small stories that no one could actually read that well but with classes and stuff I got better and over the years I've learned to write the way I do now- I just hate the way I write because it's ugly so my computer is my best friend.
5) "Which was your first story generally?"
I don't remember actually.
6) "Do you write in some other website except Wattpad?"
No, other websites don't have as much of that razzle-dazzle I'm looking for lol.
7) "What has given you motive to keep on writing?"
Honestly, it has to be the readers like @gabbybelli, @anaispolanco93, @tinag929 @orgahazms, @narryscute, @dahlia_rose_14 and so many more readers that have supported every single one of my stories. @gabbybell and @dahlia_rose_14 are one of my first readers from even the stories I wrote before that I ended up deleting lol. They're the true MVPs.
8 )"Have you ever wanted to give up everything? (writing I mean)"
Yeah, a few times actually. I think with a lot of love you can also get a lot of hate. I know my stories aren't perfect and they have plot holes and grammar issues, but I do it because I love it so damn much. Also anytime I read a story from @oceanlyfe @peanutboyfriend @mysterymixtapes @lipsthatlied @scene-d-amour or @fatbottomedgirls I just think I'm trash because their work is amazing.
9) "Which is your favorite story on Wattpad?"
Always by @styleslegend (it's almost embarrassing how many times I've read it lol)
10) "Have you gained any friendship from Wattpad? If yes, which are your Wattpad friends?"
Yes, I have, @scene-d-amour @lipsthatlied @reviewsbylou @lovealwaysvictoria @stylesreads @fatbottomedgirls @yall-need-1direction @marylandmansion @gen-gen50. They're just the best people and I'm thankful to have them :))))
11) "Do you relate with any of your characters from your books? If yes, which one and which characteristics are similar?"
I relate to all of them in some way or another. I think the one I relate to the most is Jane from ride because we both have some similarities when it comes to PTSD and anxiety. Personality wise, I'm exactly like Danny from Zephyr. Like that character is me haha.
12) "What do you want to study?"
I'm actually planning to go back to school soon to be an ultrasound technician. The goal would be to take a few creative writing classes as well, but I have to think more practical.
13)" Describe yourself in 3 words."
Funny, anxious, honest
14) "What do you advise new writers?"
Be original, support others, write what you want to read not what others want to read.
15)" Questions based on your book 'Toxic' : How were you inspired to write this story?"
Toxic is actually based on a few situations involving people in my life. Spoiler alert if you haven't read it! Harry getting abused by a woman was such a taboo subject at the time in our fandom, like you read about it now a lot, but at the time I began writing the story I searched for it and couldn't find anything where the man was getting abused by the woman. My brother was actually in a very abusive relationship and was scared to say anything because much like the character Emily, his ex would threaten him to call the police and say he hit her. The adoption process and baby Oliver was based on my sisters experience adopting her son who was also born with drugs in his system.
16) "Pick three of your good characters and analyse their personality and actions like you did during the proceess of writing their scenes."
Harry's personality is sort of vulnerable and shy at first, and slowly he grows into this beautiful character that even if he's married he can still be independent.
Marlene is obviously more open and carefree, but she needs love and Harry has plenty to give and I think that's why they're good together.
Marlene's mom is a lot like my mom, very narcissistic and over time she begins to change as well into a more understanding mom which is a lot like my mom. She's changed a lot over the years.
17) "Pick three of your bad characters and analyse their personality and actions like you did during the proceess of writing their scenes."
Emily is based off two people I know. Her addiction comes from that place of self-hatred and anger that her parents pushed on her. All of her actions are based around her mother who is just worse than anybody. All of her actions like her 'suicide' and kidnapping, it all was because of her mother. The mom's death at the end of the book was sort of Emily's release and that's why she meets Oliver after years in rehab and stuff.
Another character I hated was Shane who is that annoying guy who never gets the hint and I feel like most people can relate to having someone like him in their lives.
18) "Which of all of these books was the hardest to write and why?"
Toxic was hard to write because I wanted to get as much information correct as possible and make it realistic. But I had the most fun writing it so that's good.
19) " A phrase or a scene that you write and you'll never forget.(and why)"
My fave scene I've ever written was the last chapter of toxic. Hands down the funniest reactions from readers I've ever gotten. It's the scene at the bar in the last chapter btw. Luckily they all loved it and that made me happy.
20) " How much time did it take to plan the whole plot? "
I planned toxic before any of my stories but I never wrote it because I was scared no one would like it. When I did begin writing it, it consumed me completely and I would cry a lot when I would write. It took me like three or four months to finish.
21)" How many unpublished and half-finished books do you have?"
I'm working on two fanfics right now, but I'm slowly moving into a regular mystery fiction story that has all original characters and I'm pretty excited about it. To answer your question, three.
22)"Which is your favourite a) funny, b) dramatic, c) romantic, until now?"
The funniest thing I've ever done was make Harry's vows, n'sync lyrics.
Dramatic would be Marlene and Harry finding out that Oliver was kidnapped. I get chills thinking about it.
My favorite romantic scene would be their first valentines day or when they get married on the boat.
23) " What's that thing that someone sees in your house that makes him/her say " Oh, yeah! A writer lives here!" ?"
Probably my sticky notes with random names and ideas that surround my bedroom.
24) " Future plans on your writing career?"
I hope that one day I can write something that I would be proud enough to show my family and friends and be able to publish it. :) it's all up to the universe.
CRITICAL QUESTIONS
1)What movie would be greatly improved if it was made into a musical?
That's a good ass question, probably mean girls lol I really don't know.
2) If your five - year -old self suddenly found themselves inhabiting your current body , what would your five-year-old self do first?
My five-year-old self would question why I have such bad back pain, ugly scars, and blind as a bat. Then she'd proceed to try alcohol for the first time.
Thank you so much ,Karla!!
