ColderBonez

1) "Name?"

I’ll go by ‘B’ on here.

2) "Age?"

16.

3)" What are your hobbies?"

My hobbies are definitely writing and sports!

4) "When did you start writing and why?"

It isn’t the cliché “ever since the age of 4 I wrote novels in my journal.” I started writing a year ago when creative writing was compulsory for my GCSE exams and found out I really enjoyed and was good at it! I started writing because I was inspired by early fan fictions, fan-girling and wanting to write my own.

5) "Which was your first story generally?"

‘Warm Bodies’ is the first story I have written on here!

6) "Do you write in some other website except Wattpad?"

I do not, I have such a connection with Wattpad and really have grown to love it!

7) "What has given you motive to keep on writing?"

My fans and the lovely messages I get motivating me to continue, work hard and put out writing that they’d enjoy. I can’t thank everybody who reads my story enough, I appreciate them with my whole heart and will continue to write because of them <3

8 )"Have you ever wanted to give up everything? (writing I mean)"

Absolutely. Every time I write I tend to give up as I think my work isn’t up to standards, that it isn’t good enough as I always compare it to other writers which is a bad habit of mine..

9) "Which is your favorite story on Wattpad?"

When I was slightly younger I was obsessed with the book ‘Cell Mate’ by @doUbLeZone and it stands to be one of my favourite books on Wattpad! I’ve also recently finished reading ‘Nerd Alert’ by @saintc and it was incredible!

10) "Have you gained any friendship from Wattpad? If yes, which are your Wattpad friends?"

I have gained only a couple friendships on Wattpad. @drha4ever and @doofinshzmertz5 hold a dear place in my heart :) I would really like to make more friends and Wattpad, so my DM’s are always open.

11) "Do you relate with any of your characters from your books? If yes, which one and which characteristics are similar?"

I don’t relate to any characters in my books. I’m such a boring, everyday individual and my characters are the complete opposite. I think because I am so boring it makes me want to explore the deep, dark crevices of emotion and character. But physically, like Nico, I guess I look tired and sad all the time.

12) "What did you study /are you studying/do you want to study?"

At the moment I’m studying the studies of sports, psychology, maths and computing.

13)" Describe yourself in 3 words."

Witty, defensive and tender.

14) "What do you advise new writers?"

To any new writers I advise to read stuff similar to what you’d like to write and gather any ideas. Draft, draft, draft. Planning drafts and self editing, it’s like laying down the Skelton then going back afterwards to put the meat on it. Have a clear idea and genre of the story you’d like to write, take your time to think of the plot, starting with a synopsis is great. Lastly be yourself and don’t give up, regardless of how hard it gets. Writing a story or book is not as easy as reading it. It’s okay to struggle, you will get writers block and there will be times you’ll want to stop. Please don’t, you can do it, everybody starts at the very bottom.

15)" Questions based on ' Warm Bodies ' : How were you inspired to write this story?"

I always enjoyed twisted horror movies, books and comics and always dreamed of writing a book within that genre. I wrote the beginning of my story in my notes and left it there for a while, eventually coming back and adding details to it. It’s totally different now to what it was.

16)" Who's your favourite character in the book and why? "

My favourite character in the book is definitely Vincent Myers.

17)" Have you decided the end of the book? "

The ending sentence of the book is: “it was just a dream!” On a serious note, the ending to my book had not yet been decided as I’m writing the chapters as they’re published.

18)"If you were asked to publish your book , would you do it?"

That is a definite no. My book still has far to go and still contains many errors which I am sorting on fixing. Also, some of the topics may not be understood, deem’d ‘gross’? Maybe, I don’t know, just my opinion.

19)"Which is your favourite a) funny, b) dramatic, c) romantic, d) sad scene in the book, until now?"

A) There is no scenes that are funny in my book as of now, the style right now is tense and eerie and humour is absent.

B) A dramatic scene in my book is one in the next chapter!

C) ‘Romantic’ is not a word I’d use regarding my book but if I had to say one I’d say it’s where Vincent helps Nico clean and bandage his cut and runs them both a bath...

D) Any scene where Nico’s love for Vincent grows yet he is treated with the opposite is sad, in my opinion.

20) " A phrase or a scene that you write and you'll never forget.(and why)"

There’s a certain scene in chapter 10, I think, where Nico says that he loves Vincent and in response he ruffles his hair. It’s a heart warming moment, Nico making Vincent feel something and Vincent showing a warm gesture which is extremely rare. Unfortunately it’s nothing too personal on my behalf.

21) " How much time did it take to plan the whole plot?"

Good question since I haven’t planned the whole plot and have never planned it, which is why I advise new readers to do so and learn from personal mistakes, at the minute I drive the story wherever I want it to go, I guess?

22)" How many unpublished and half-finished books do you have?"

‘Warm Bodies’ is my only book, I don’t have any drafts as apparently I can concentrate and multi task.

23) "Any spoilers for future plans?"

I would love to give you spoilers but I don’t know where I’m going with the plot myself, heh.

24)" Are you planning to publish a sequel?"

Maybe, the thought has drifted past my mind.

25) " The last chapter you updated ends with a cliffhanger. What sneak peak can you give us? Should we be prepared?"

You should defiantly brace yourselves! The next chapter is where the story escalates drastically :) A character may or may not meet his maker.

CRITICAL QUESTIONS
