AshGotStranded

1) "Name?"

Aashi

2) "Age?"

17.

3)" What are your hobbies?"

I love to write, read, sing, sketch, play guitar and basketball.

4) "When did you start writing and why?"

I think I was in 4yh grade when I had this diary (I still have it) where I used to write these short stories and read them to my grandpa or mum and they'd give me remarks for it so I could improve my English. It is so funny to read them now.

5) "Which was your first story generally?"

My first story, it was 'Are You Guilty?'. I started writing it when I was 12 but it was never finished and I lost my Wattpad account for some reasons.

6) "Do you write in some other website except Wattpad?"

No, I don't. I haven't found any other app which fascinates me as much as Wattpad.

7) "What has given you motive to keep on writing?"

As I grew up, I had this feeling in my heart where I just wanted to escape reality because my life had been pretty boring. So, the main reason was that but after I lost my Wattpad account, I found motivation to write after reading books by my, now, favourite authors like Nicholas Sparks, John Green and Jennifer Niven.

8 )"Have you ever wanted to give up everything? (writing I mean)"

I surely thought about it. I unpublished my work and everything because I felt like I wasn't doing it right, like, I couldn't do it. But then I thought about how writing made me happy and I just needed a break to get rid of the demotivation. After that, I came right back.

9) "Which is your favorite story on Wattpad?"

My top favorite books are 'I Sold Myself To The Devil For Vynil... Pitiful I Know' by @DarknessAndLight and 'Inhale' and 'Exhale' by @Exquisite .

10) "Have you gained any friendship from Wattpad? If yes, which are your Wattpad friends?"

Tbh, there are tons. In fact, I found some of my closest friends here who have been life savers. I'll mention the closest bishes @euphoric_void @feather_gatherer @zaynthegodmalik @exquisite_22 @ifffzeh @MindOfJohanna and @iluvzaynie

11) "Do you relate with any of your characters from your books? If yes, which one and which characteristics are similar?"

I, of course, mostly relate to the protagonist of my book, Emma. She's stubborn, weird, and feels lonely even when she has amazing friends by her side. That's totally me, feeling like I don't belong. But I also relate to Jack because he acts childish when he's in his 20s.

12) "What did you study /are you studying/do you want to study?"

I'm currently studying Psychology, Sociology and Economics but I'm further going to opt for Psychology and English Literature. My dream is to become a clinical psychologist.

13)" Describe yourself in 3 words."

Weird, Stubborn, Defensive.(yeah, I don't think much good stuff about myself)

14) "What do you advise new writers?"

The more your read and write, the better you'll get. Don't ever look back at what you've failed to achieve because those are the battles you've lost so you can learn how to get better. There are times when you WILL get demotivated but don't give up because there are always people who see the world in different perspective and maybe they'll understand and love yours, too. Keep going, your mountain is waiting for you!

15)" Questions based on ' The Places We Can't Go ' :  How were you inspired to write this story?"

It was pretty normal day, nothing out of ordinary when I just had this idea about how would it be if Liam was my neighbor and it was funny. So I ended up improvising the idea and created this whole crazy plot.

16)" Who's your favourite character in the book and why? "

I absolutely love Jack. He's mature and childish at the same time. The boy is always trying to please others and take care of them but never pays attention to himself. His character development will be the best to write and how he learns to know who he wants to be.

17)" Have you decided the end of the book? "

Yes, the end of The Places We Can't Go is decided, considering only 3 more chapters are left to write for it to be over. But the sequel exists and it's ending is decided as well but it can change any time if I have second thoughts in the future.

18)"If you were asked to publish your book , would you do it?"

No, I don't think so. It's not that good to get published. I have a desire to be a published author but not with these books. I think I can do much better in future when I'll learn more and be wiser with my words.

19)"Which is your favourite a)  funny,  b) dramatic,  c) romantic, d) sad scene in the book,  until now?"

a) It's definitely the chapter when the whole group goes to have a paintball fight. I also find the club scene in the beginning chapters very funny. They don't fail to crack me up each time.

b) I think the scene when Emma throws her drink at Harry's face is the most dramatic. The girl literally just overreacting, haha.

c) I love the rooftop scene when they're carefree and splashing water at each other by jumping in the puddle.

d) The latest chapter, 52. It is the saddest one I've ever written.

20) " A phrase or a scene that you write and you'll never forget.(and why)"

I think it will always be the one when Emma's trying to talk to a star because she thinks it consumes the soul of someone close she lost years ago. I can relate to the feeling because I still sometimes do that when I look at the night sky, try to find my grandad among them.

The phrases that I love the most are these lines of dialogues:

"I'll fix you, I promise."

"Broken goods can't be fixed, idiot."

"You're not broken goods. Sometimes people mistake masterpieces to be broken when they're simply extraordinary and you're one of them. You're a masterpiece, baby."

21) " How much time did it take to plan the whole plot? Are we near the end?"

God, it took a whole lot of time, energy and ideas. I started with a much lame plot in 2017 and I wrote the book more than halfway through in my notebook BUT when I joined Wattpad, I changed a lot of things and turned it into a whole new world. The main plot was developed and new characters were added. It was a new mess that I had to fix. But I'm happy how it turned out to be. Of course, I still see a lot of flaws but I can always go back and edit when I get better. So the story had taken around two years to have this insane plot and it CAN still develop if I want it to.

No, we're not that near end. But it's definitely about to be a bumpy ride in the next book.

22)" How many unpublished and half-finished books do you have?"

Not many. I have one poetry book that is completed. But other than that, I don't have any book that I've ever completed in my life. I tend to lose interest and feel demotivated a lot. The Places We Can't Go will be the first book thats ever completed and I'm so excited about it.

I have three drafts. One if of the sequel to TPWCG, second contains some future scenes that I want to add and the third draft is of a book idea that I don't have much planned plot for.

23) "Any spoilers for future plans?"

Well, I'm going to put a third book for TPWCG series which will contain the bloopers and extra scenes. The thing is, when I write scenes, any scene, romantic, serious, just whatever, I tend to crack a lot of jokes with my friends about doing and putting crazy things in it. Now, those things would affect the plot so I'm going to put those in bloopers and it will be goddamn funny.

24)"  Are you planning to publish a sequel?"

YES.

25) " Choose- 'challenge' two writers that you want to know about to do this interview like you."

Hard one, um, @ashesofinfinity and  @zalaxy- .
