Green and Akame stood there against their opponent the GraveKeepers. 3 of the GraveKeepers that had attacked was knocked down by Green's Sidewinder. Only one person left. He stood there looking at Akame and Green narrowly.

GraveKeepers: You're... different from the others I've fought so far.

The GraveKeepers jump into the air and his form started to change. His arms turned into wings while his feet turned into talons. Looking more like an eagle.

Akame: He can turn into a bird...!

Green: We have to do something to bring him down to the ground.

GraveKeeper: It's actually more trouble that you only knocked out my teammates. So you're planning on taking them back to get information out of them. Then I suppose I'll just have to take you out and collect you!

Green: He's going to charge at us!

The Eagle man charged towards Green and Akame. Green used his Sidewinder to strike him down. The whip flew through in fast motions turning into a multi snake attack.

But the Eagle man using his Eagle eye, managed to see through all of Green's attacked motion and easily slip through the whip and dodge them all. This actions surprises Green.

Green: Wha...?!

In his panicked, the GraveKeeper went straight towards him raising his talon like legs towards the Glass Boy attempting to strike him down.

GraveKeeper: You're first...!

Akame: Not on my watch!

GraveKeeper: !!

Akame went through between the GraveKeepers attack shocking him with how precise her timing was. Her hand was already on her katana and did a swift strike attack at the GraveKeeper. But thanks to his Eagle like reflexes, he managed to dodge Akame's strike.

GraveKeeper: How can you move so quickly without even having a Secret Art...?!

Both Akame and Green didn't answer the question instead, both of them only smile seeing that their Victory was assured.

Green: You saved me, Akame. Now we definitely have him.

Akame: Yeah.

Green had Sidewinder latch onto the GraveKeepers leg when Akame blocked his attack, a gleam in Green's eyes appeared as he saw the GraveKeepers surprised gaze.

Green: Here goes!

Green pulled the GraveKeeper closer to them, preventing him for making any aerial movements and to lower its altitude for Akame to strike. The moment her opponent reached the point of strike, Akame leapt into the air, striking him with the hilt of her Shingu.

Akame: You're mine!

Her swift strike immediately knocked down the GraveKeeper in an instant. When she lands, they gave each other a high five with smiles on their faces.

Green: Nice attack.

Akame: Glad I could count on you, Green.

Green(mind): Score! I got to impress Akame and I never lost my cool.

Green smile to himself as he managed to impress his crush. But the moment he saw Akame's armpits, blood flows out of his knows like a waterfall.

Akame: Uh, Green. Your nose is bleeding.

He didn't even realize it, before it's too late. He recoiled back to cover his nose in embarrassment while looking away from her. His Armpit Fetish shows no bound.

Green: I-I'm fine! I just got excited from the fight! It's nothing.

Akame: O-Okay... A-As long as you're not hurt...

Akame sweat drop as she recall about Green Armpit Fetish when she sneak in with Poney and Cornelia. Green on the other hand couldn't look at Akame, cursing himself for ruining his moment because how excited he gets when he saw her Armpits.

(Timeskip)

After bating some of the GraveKeepers guard outside of the Tomb, Akame and Green returned back to the other Elite Seven as they all started at the Pyramid in front of them. The GraveKeepers base and hideout. Ryu stared at the Tomb with bated breath. It was clear after what happened with Cornelia he started to get a bit anxious. Though he hides them with his extremely well poker face.

But it would appeared that the assassin girl noticed his anxiety.

Akame: You okay, Ryu...?

Ryu: You know I am.

Akame: You don't have to act strong in front of me.

A surprise face appeared on the boys face. The girl with the ruby eyes smile at him as she clearly saw through him. The two of them stood there together facing the tomb as Ryu let out a weak laugh.

Akame: It's obvious that you're still hurt, about what happened. After all, you're the one who cared about us the most.

Ryu: Where did that come from? Stop it. You're making me embarrassed.

Akame: It's the truth isn't it? No matter what, we need you till the very end.

Ryu: Yeah. It's just that, I wish I could've done more.

Akame: It's not your fault. None of us were there and all of us could've done something.

Ryu:...

The silent gaze makes it clear that Ryu had acknowledge that Akame was right. This was the life of an assassin. In every mission, their life is on the line. They could be targeted too god who knows when and where. Seeing that Akame gently hold his hand, making him look at her. He saw she smile gently at him.

Akame: In that case, I promised you this. I will not die. In return, don't you dare die on me either.

Ryu: Yeah, it's a promise.

Najasho: Are you two shrimps done?

They both turned to and saw Najasho approaching them, Akame immediately let go of Ryu's hand to hide her gaze. But Najasho ignore her as a neutral gaze on his face as he sighed.

Najasho: Guy just came back with a map. We're going over the plan before we head out.

Akame: We'll be there, sorry.

Najasho: Well, if you have him back on track then it's fine. Otherwise, he won't live long enough for what he promised me forever ago.

Ryu: You remember our promise?

He stops for a moment, a smirk on his face all the while.

Najasho:...Why wouldn't I? So you better do your best, Bro...

Ryu looked at him annoyed. Najasho sarcastic remarks made him scoffs as Najasho leaves them and a smile appears on Ryu's face. Ryu and Najasho truly have a unique bond out of the other Elite Seven.

Ryu: Of course you would, you jerk...

Akame: What did you promise him?

Ryu: I'll tell you someday.

Ryu and Akame joined the other Elite Seven as Gai had just returned with the map and they all quickly memorized them.

Gozuki: Everyone's memorized the map of the tomb's interior, I hope.

Poney: Down to the last detail!

The information Bill interrogated from their captives alongside Gai's scouting got the Elite Seven a detailed layout of the entire tomb alongside the insane amount of traps within it.

Gozuki: And you know what I'm going to tell you, don't you?

Poney: Don't let our guard get lax just because we have a map... right?

Gozuki: That's right. The information we got from the captives matches what Gai brought us when we infiltrated, so we probably have it right, but still... With our teammates still not back, there's no telling what move the Gravekeepers will make. They could change the types of traps they use and such.

Poney: Uuuh, so you're saying...

Ryu: Information is important but don't forget to employ your five senses, is what he means.

Poney: Come on, I always do that!

Gozuki: Good point. So long as you apply everything you've learned, you should be fine.

Najasho: You'll be coming with us this time, correct?

Gozuki: It's an especially dangerous mission. Gai, you'll be the only one taking a different route. Throw them into confusion from underground.

Gai: Leave it to me and I'll make as much a commotion as Cornelia would've on top of that.

Ryu playfully punch Gai's right shoulder and Gai looked at him and saw a smirk on Ryu's face. Gai smirk as well already guessing what Ryu's intention was. He was saying that Gai better make sure to go wild while they were in there. Seeing their exchange, Gozuki smile.

Gozuki: All right. Once the other unit's begun their feight, we charge in!

(Timeskip)

The moment the operation began, Ryu and the Elite Seven charged in and infiltrate the Tomb. Their mission was to rescue their assassins teams that was first sent to investigate. But the moment they got in, they were met by traps and traps and more traps. There were far more traps than their information they've gathered. Sawblades, falling roof tiles, retractable spikes.

Ryu(mind): How the hell were they supposed to survive these traps?

Poney was hoping off the side of some spikes that appeared on the ground avoiding them. Ryu was dodging some sawblades that appeared from the left and right walls. Akame was dodging some falling contraptions that would slam down before rising back up. Najasho, Green and Gozuki was tailing behind them.

Akame: There's more of these traps than our information told us about.

Poney: Ahahaha! But it's kind of fun!

Ryu: -_- Can you still say the same thing after looking at that.

A multitude of oversized scorpions appeared in front of them. Poney's eyes immediately opened as wide as they could and scream.

Poney: So gross!

Najasho: Get back, Shrimp.

Ryu: We'll deal with these.

Both Ryu and Najasho moved on ahead, grabbing their sword. Najasho with his Water Dragon Shingu and Ryu with his katana. The two of them cut all of the scorpions within seconds and jumping back to moving forward.

The team continue to move forwards, before a chameleon GraveKeeper appeared from behind Akame, with its ability to camouflage attacked Akame with its tongue pistol. But Sidewinder instantly latches onto something's tongue as Green noticed the attacked and Ryu also pull out Prometheus.

Green: I knew someone would be using camouflage. It's my duty to watch out for that.

Ryu: Good catch.

A single bullet kills the Gravekeeper. But the moment the GraveKeeper drop dead, a rumbling sound appeared and the ground shakes a little.

Akame:...What's that sound?

Green: I've got a bad feeling about this!

Ryu: -_- Oh brother....

Ryu just pointed forward, and the Elite Seven all saw a boulder rushing down the hallway towards them as Poney's screams could be heard probably everywhere in here.

Poney: Waaaaaaaaaaaaa?!

Gozuki: All we can do is run to escape it...

Poney: Chief, Ryu, can't either of you slice that thing up?!

Najasho: So long there's no mechanism on it.

Ryu: That will only make these place crumble alongside in it.

Green: It's times like this it hurts to not have Guy and his strength.

All the Elite Seven could do but run. The passageways and rooms they discovered from that point on were all booby trapped. One room fired poison arrows at them from every direction, another had a pitfall filled with acid, and yet another had turned into a whirlpool of sand with a worm-like monster waiting for them at the center. Everyone was stressed beyond belief.

Nevertheless, they cleared trap after trap, until they finally found themselves in a passageway larger than any other they'd seen up to that point. It was six to seven meters wide, had quite a steep slant to it, and curved to the right. It was like a spiral slide descending into the depths. Everyone tensed up. After all, the passageway just screamed "trap." But the trap that made everyone tense up was that a a huge wall fell from the top separating the teams from each other.

Ryu: -_- Great. Now we're all separated.

Ryu was all alone as he was stuck in a really horrible area, more of these god damned traps... But these are a hell of a lot more dangerous than before that's for sure.

???: So you're my opponent, I take it.

Ryu spun when he heard the voice and took a shot in his direction, grabbing his blade.

Ryu: A GraveKeeper!

Ryu fired multiple Prometheus shot. But the GraveKeeper jumps around the wall in a very fast speed, that he easily dodge the bullet of Prometheus. Ryu was caught off guard by the fast jumped and fast reflexes.

Ryu: A Grasshopper!

???: Oh... So you noticed. Well, die.

The GraveKeepers began to rush Ryu, but Ryu stay calm and he speed up jumping around the walls as well keeping up with his opponent, surprising him.

???: Wha-?!

Ryu: As if a Grasshopper can stop the likes off me.

The two of them started speeding around and clashed speed vs strength. After which, Ryu leapt behind, trying to cut the GraveKeeper down for good. But the Grasshopper GraveKeeper was good at running away.

???: How can one person without any secret art moved like that.

Ryu: A Grasshopper can't beat a Vampire. You asshole.

???: !!

Ryu started cutting through the traps and his opponent even quicker then before, as his blade cut straight through the traps. He smirk pulling the trigger of his Prometheus, lowering his opponents movements.

Ryu: Alright, let's end this!

???: You're a tough one, I guess I'll have to defeat you the old-fashioned way.

Once again, he started to bounce around this cramped corridor, Ryu's eyes being able to keep track of him. After dealing with Poney's speed, and kick power this GraveKeeper's attack means absolutely nothing.

???: Die!

Ryu: Where do you think you're aiming at?

Ryu had his weapon to his neck already, the last thing Ryu could saw from his opponent was his look of surprise before a smirk appeared. He had activated another trap.

???: Activate!

Spikes from the ceiling appeared as Ryu tried to land a bullet through the GraveKeepers leg but barely missed and one of the trap's managed to pierced through Ryu's hand, making him drop Prometheus and dodged back. The GraveKeeper took Ryu's Shingu and ran further away into the room. Ryu realized that his opponent wanted him to chase after where he would lead him into more traps. But Ryu wasn't buying any of them.

Ryu: One of you guys better give that thing back to me after you kill him...

Ryu said rushing towards the corridor where he would search for their missing comrades.
