Overview:

Yoshi Invidia is a major character of The Mage and the Princess, as well as the Reader's bodyguard. A non-native Beelzenian, his past his unknown.

Description:

Yoshi is a red eyed and blonde male with hair that is uneven and that goes to his shoulders. He typically wears a black shirt and black pants when he's resting, although he does have an outfit similar to Li's for formal occasions. When defending the Reader, he wears his casual clothes underneath his red armor.

Backstory:

Yoshi's backstory has yet to be revealed.

Story:

Yoshi first appears in the Prologue and asks Li why the Empress is crying. He mentions the name Elluki, causing the Reader to cry harder until Li boots him out to go inform the other bodyguards.

Later, he storms in with Li over the Empress's coronation.

Personality:

Yoshi is rather protective the Empress, viewing her as his little sister. He is disgusted with the disrespect she faces, and wants to fight Lucifenia for what they have done to Beelzenia years ago. Regardless, he can be a bit of a prankster, and his victim is almost always Li.

Skills:

Hand to Hand Combat - As the Empress's bodyguard, he must defend her from danger. Yoshi is quite good at had to hand combat.

Swordplay - Yoshi can wield a sword, but he is rather unwieldy with it.

Trivia:

- Yoshi is represented by YOHIOloid
- In earlier drafts, his last name Envidia was misspelled as Invidia
- He is the reason why Li is called pretty and why we have Li memes.
- He could pass off as a relative of the Lucifenian government if it weren't for his red eyes
- His past is in question because I don't know if I could pull it off.
