It's a new day and it has overall been quite silent, that is until a motorbike zoomed past and made its halt near a coffee shop down the block from where the biker parked at. The biker then removed His helmet and placed it onto the biker's seat before heading toward the coffee shop and went inside, gently holding the door for anyone to come inside before heading elsewhere, sitting himself down for some coffee. Whilst within the coffee shop, came a familiar person and that was Trini as she surprisingly took a job at the exact place.

"Welcome to the Coffee shop! How may i— Wait a minute...Billy?"

"Trini?? I didn't know you worked here!"

"I never knew you came here!"

"I always come here!"

"Wow!! I just..never took a second glance at you since you always have your helmet on.."

"Sorry 'bout that, trini-"

"No need to apologise billy.."

Billy smiled at trini and trini did the same back at billy before heading back to work yet, billy felt a bit conflicted that trini worked here though it wasn't in his business to tell what his friend what to and what not to do. A few minutes later, Billy received his Mocha and gave them a thanks before lightly sipping on the mocha.

Just then, the doors of the coffee shop gently swung open, letting someone inside..and that someone was none other than Cole himself, greeting everyone within the establishment. Trini was stunned as to why Cole came here but didn't question it further and went to greet him either way. Billy's gaze averted from his coffee and to gaze upon Cole for a moment and a half before daydreaming slightly and Cole took notice of this, glancing in Billy's general direction with one eyebrow raised. Billy then snapped out of it and looked away with his face flushed a dark, rosy red but upon a second glance at Cole, He had a displeased look upon his face which sent billy into a spiral of different emotions but before he could speak, Max came into the coffee Shop with his headphones in, blasting loud music into his ears as he danced around with his camera hung around his book bag.

Billy sighed and rose up from his seat and grabbed Max's shoulders which, in turn, caused Max to remove his headphones to look at Billy with a raised eyebrow before smiling at him.

"Oh wassup, billy!"

"Yeah, hi Max...uhm....do...do you know...him?"

"Who? Big boss man back there drinking a macchiato?"

"Yes...him...do you know him?"

"Obviously!"

"....How well do you know him, max."

"Uhh...not that well but I talked with him just a few weeks ago!!"

Billy was taken aback by this and slowly looked over to glance at Cole, who was still there, before looking back at Max who had a friendly smile upon his face. Billy then thought for a moment before crossing one leg over the other as he sighed. Meanwhile on the opposite side of Billy and Max's table, sat Cole, Keeping his eyes on Max 24/7 without blinking as it was until that his Watch beeped, causing him to snap out of his trance and look at what messages he was receiving, causing him to raise up and walk to leave but stopped to turn toward Max and walked to his and Billy's table, standing right behind Max's seat. Billy Instantly noticed and began to blush again but max didn't realise just yet and thought that Billy's reaction was quite hilarious until he felt a palm upon his head.

"It's nice seeing you again, max......."

"GAH— Oh!! Hello again, cole!!!"

"I see you're talking to a friend?"

"Yup! He's my friend! Billy!"

"..uh...hi—"

"I see....He's billy.........."

"Yup!"

"The one who's been....eyeing me?"

"PFFT- WAIT WHAT???"

Billy embarrassingly slumped his head down onto the table whilst Max laughed himself out of breath with tears in his eyes but Cole gently rubbed Max's back with a small smile upon his face. Max then calmed down and ruffled Billy's head with a smile upon his face.

"Ay, don't worry bud...He isn't that harsh!"

"Yeah but, he didn't......you know—"

"I didn't what..billy."

"Uh...you know what, n-nevermind—"

"Cole?"

"Yes, max?"

"I still have one of your cards!"

"I'm impressed..."

"I'm glad you are!"

Max chuckled and Cole kept a long gaze on him before Looking at Billy, who was eagerly waiting for someone to say something. Cole blinked twice and scrunched his nose slightly at Billy's gaze but didn't think much of it. Billy then looked away from Cole, eyeing something else with a nervous smile upon his face.

".....Billy."

"Hm? Yes Co—"

"its Mr. Evans......to you."

"Ah...Yes, Mr. Evans?"

"Why do you always look at me?"

"W-Well, I was wondering if...I could have..one of your cards?"

"............."

"That'd be a good idea! Please, cole?"

"Of course, max...."

"You're awesome!"

Cole then reached into his suit pocket, pulling out a card and reluctantly handing it over to Billy, who was sort of surprised with this and smiled gleefully but Cole on the other hand, shifted his mood from happiness to disdain in a couple of seconds each moment he glanced at billy.

Billy then arose from his seat and gently extended his hand out, spreading out his fingers in the form to give Cole a handshake but Cole, "politely" declined, shuffling backwards which Made Billy quite confused seeing as how he was with Max would've made him comfortable enough to be around Him also...

Cole looked at Max then at his watch once more before ruffling Max's head, taking his leave eventually, having Max wave goodbye to Cole with a happy grin upon his face.

"...hey uh...max?"

"Hm? Yeah, billy?"

"....I'm pretty sure I like him—"

"Oooooooooo~ you like himm??"

"Shut.....shut your mouth right now—"

"Naaaahh I don't think i will! besides...Cole wouldn't mind you workin' with him even though...taylor works there too.."

"Taylor??? Taylor Earhardt??"

"Eeeeeyup."

"...I thought she..hated working there??"

"She does......but she still goes there for income which is surprisingly high..."

"damn....I should probably start workin' there..."

"You have the card now!! You probably should...Oh, speaking of work, I actually start tomorrow!"

"You do?"

"Yup!"

"Well, goodluck, Max! I...believe in you!"

"Thank you, Billy!!"

"Yeah...."

Max soon arose from his seat and walked out of the coffee shop, placing his headphones back on once more and danced his way down the streets, leaving Billy alone with his thoughts within said Coffee shop. Trini noticed Billy sat there and decided to place whatever she was doing down for a moment and headed over to sit next to him.

"Heya billy.."

"Hm? Oh hello again, Trini!"

"Alone with your thoughts again?"

"Unfortunately.."

"Don't worry...I'll keep you company.."

"You're too kind.."

Trini giggled, happily smiling at Billy and him doing the same back to her and just like that, they began to talk without stopping about their interests until closing time.

Meanwhile, At Animanix Corp, Taylor was cleaning up the souvenirs and keeping things clean, a cloth and materials that she had laying back at her home. Taylor thought to herself that if she could make it another day without being spotted by Cole then she could clock out and go home with a large sum of money.

Taylor then stopped cleaning and observed the objects before her and slumped down to collect her products and pack up for the day to leave but right as she was about to, Cole had unexpectedly snuck up behind her, causing her to Jolt out of fear but then, exhaled angrily.

"Cole, for FUCKS sake."

"What a way to greet a friend, hm?"

"Oh fuck off..."

"Still the Taylor I remember."

"And you're still the Stubborn piece of Shit who couldn't even pull a bit of weight when first joining WILD FORC—"

Without any warning, Cole placed His palm around Taylor's face and mouth, squeezing slowly with applying pressure each second. Taylor Struggled and Kicked a few times before Cole let go of her.

"...Watch your mouth, Taylor."

"......"

"Now, get out."

Taylor Rubbed her jawline and collected her things and left, gradually growing angrier and angrier by the passing moment. Once Taylor had left the building, Cole Angrily clenched his fist and Punched the nearest wall in vicinity with exaggerated force but once his fist fell from the wall, he composed himself and slicked his hair back and forced a friendly smile upon his face before walking to his office and closing the door behind him.

Taylor, on her way back home, ran into Max and grabbed the collar of his hoodie, catching Max off guard. Max flailed and slowly looked at Taylor before grumbling quietly.

"Max—"

"I knoooww how this is going to go!! Stop trying to misdirect me into not going to Animanix Corp."

"....God fucking— you know what that guy is capable of?!"

"So??..."

".....SO?!...THAT'S ALL YOU HAVE TO—....now, let me calm myself down."

"And there you go......yelling at me AGAIN...jesus, you're such a mom."

"The way you act is borderline CHILDISH, Max."

"And I'm proud of that!!"

"....."

"You're NOT going to police me around!!!"

"Max, I'm not policing you around! Just listen to me for once!!!"

"Fine."

"Thank you....it's just don't go to him, please...for the love of god, you do not know what he is capable of..hell, he doesn't know what he does half of the time...He's just downright evil...so, if you know what's good for you, Max...."

"...I—"

Max Looked at the ground, contemplating Once again whilst Taylor gently pulled him into a hug. Max looked up at Taylor and wondered if what she said was even true to an extent to even trust Cole, but He wanted to believe the opposite and with that, Max gently got out of Taylor's hug and continued to walk whilst also placing his headphones back on. Taylor saw this happen and tried calling for Max to come back but all of that went unnoticed and so, she gave up and headed back home knowing she couldn't persuade him into not going there.

Max, now standing in front of animanix Corp doors, questioned himself if he should even head inside but all of that was placed on halt upon seeing billy inside through the window which, naturally caused him to go inside with the happiest grin upon his face but as he was about to go toward billy, Max was dragged aside by a secretary of the establishment, causing him to jump out of his own skin with fear. The secretary pulled up her glasses and stared at Max for a good while before smiling happily.

"You must be Mr. Evan's new right hand man!"

"His— His wha—"

"Right hand man?? A position whom he only gives to his buds?"

".....How high is that position?"

"Oh, jeez..well it's higher than us that's for sure!"

"You seem very friendly to be a secretary...what's your name??"

"Oh! Name's Lily...Lily Chilman!"

"Lily?!...Jungle fury's Yellow ranger?"

"You got that right!"

"Do....Do your glasses...still work?"

"Oh they do, but Not right now.."

"Coo!!"

Once Max and Lily kept on their conversation, Billy was on the far left of where they were, fixing up his hair and tie which he wore with a suit. Billy looked up from fixing his tie and turned to where Max was and saw that he was wearing his usual attire. Billy couldn't help but laugh a bit with how ridiculous Max looked as Animanix Corp was more on the extravagant side but that didn't stop Max at all.

As soon as Max and Lily's conversation came to an end, Max walked over to Billy, waving happily but Billy only gave Max a smug smile which Max wasn't all too accustomed to which only spiked his curiosity. Max placed his hands into his pockets and tried to converse with Billy but all he did was avert his eyes elsewhere which threw Max off guard. Max's face fell from happiness to pure confusion as to why Billy behaved like this but before he could even get a word across, Cole came out of his office, looking extravagant as ever and glancing down from the railings which stood on the top floor descending into railings for the stairs on opposite sides. Billy instinctively looked up at where Cole was, smiling happily and thought what Cole would've done if he saw Max in such a state but Max only looked up at Cole with an eyebrow raised. Cole glanced down at all of them before descending down the stairs and approached Max specifically, completely ignoring Billy's presence which caught Billy off guard and sort of pissed him off to some degree.

Max Smiled at Cole and Cole smiled back whilst also ruffling Max's hair. Max pat Cole's head before placing his hands back into his pockets, glancing around the establishment. Billy, who was gritting his teeth, wondered why Cole was ignoring him so much but giving his attention to Max out of all the people who actually tried to dress appropriately for the occasion. Max then pulled out his phone and began to spark a conversation with Cole but Cole only listened, only opening his mouth to answer questions Max had for him. Billy walked off to clear his mind, tapping his foot whilst grumbling to himself about what was going on and Taylor surprisingly saw him and approached him suddenly out of the blue.

"Billy?? Why're you here?..."

"...."

"Is Max here?"

"Why is everything about max!?"

"Because he's throwing himself into DANGER is why I worry."

"....He's just getting doted on by Cole."

"Oh for the love of—....wait is that why you're pissed??? That max is getting attention from him?!"

"........."

"Oh.....my god, billy...you shouldn't even waste your time with him!!"

"But I Have feelings for him for god's sake!"

"What the fuck— WHY DO YOU HAVE FEELINGS FOR HIM!?"

"Because I can. Now quit bitching."

"I'm not bitching, billy!! That guy's just altered your fucking brain chemistry for crying out loud!!"

"He wouldn't even glance in my direction."

"And for good reason."

"IT'S NOT!! I actually tried to dress well!! And max just looks like a fucking broke teenager with nothing going well on him!"

"......THE BOTH OF YOU GRADUATED TOGETHER, DIPSHIT."

".............."

"AND THAT'S HOW YOU VIEW YOUR FRIEND???"

"God, leave me alone."

Billy soon stormed off, leaving Taylor alone where she stood but She didn't have an ounce of anger on her face, just worry and fear for Max as she sighed and went back to her casual duties. Billy, on the other hand, continued to Loathe Max and everything about him but had to keep it hidden for as long as possible.

Billy then walked back to the main area and stood around for a bit before admiring everyone else with a small glint in his eyes but only had his eyes for Cole but turns out, He wasn't there. Billy's eyes widened upon noticing that He wasn't there, he started to internally panic and began to look for the both of them. Meanwhile, Both Max and Cole were in the office, talking amongst others with a bright smile upon their faces. Max, who was sitting next to Cole, began to fidget with his camera which he brought along whilst Cole looked on with confusion.

"Max...?"

"Yes, Cole?"

"Why do you carry that camera with you..?"

"Oh! I'm actually inspiring to be a famous photographer!"

"Hm.....lovely vision of life, hm?"

"Yup!"

"Your camera will be of use here...but not as much."

"What do you—"

Just then, their conversation was interrupted by none other than Billy who scanned the entire room with his brows furrowed. Cole arose from his seat and glared at Billy with a scowl upon his face. Max was beyond confused and rose up as well but slowly sat right back down.

"Billy, we're in an important meeting right now. We do not need an encore."

"But—"

"No buts.....get out.."

"........."

"If you're just going to stand there, then I'll have no choice but to have Max to escort you out."

"WHAT???"

"Do not...raise your voice in front of me."

Max rose up then gently escorted Billy out of the room and closed the door right as he was out the room completely. Billy gritted his teeth and stormed off in a fit of rage and walked down the stairs and exited the establishment all together. Max then went back to his seat and sat down and Cole clapped for Max with a grin upon his face.

"I'm so proud of you...for getting rid of the jester..."

"J-Jester? But he's my frie—"

"Now.....Let us continue?"

And with that, The rest of the people who were within that room carried on with what they were doing with Max being the centre of attention at some intervals but got used to it eventually.

As the day came to an end and as everyone left to go home, Max exited the Corp and headed down to where The coffee shop was but didn't dare to enter and went home.

Things may go great for better or for worse...either one will be detrimental to one's way of mind and how they'll act.

Let's hope Max doesn't go in such a direction.
