Epilogue ~ 100k Special! ~

The pink-headed beauty walked up the steps large building she is able to call hers. The receptionist gave her a bright smile, and she returned with a true smile. No arrogance, but a pure, and meaningful smile. A familiar face came into her field of vision, and she smiled at him.

He bowed his head slightly, "Good morning, Ms. Haruno."

She chuckled, "Gaara, enough with the formal tone. You know to call me Sakura."

"Got it."

Sakura and Gaara went into the elevator, and pressed the number '21,' signaling the floor her office was located.

Sakura peeked at Gaara, "Do you miss being the boss?"

He shook his head, "Not really. It's a lot of hard work, and I don't think I'm cut out for that kind of job."

"Well, you did excellent while I was away. This past month I've worked here, has made me really grateful for what I have."

The elevator doors opened, and the two walked at their own pace down the narrow hallway.

"So you're enjoying this new life, I see?"

She sighed joyfully, "Of course!"

The pinkette unlocked, and opened the door. She was welcomed to the giant window that had a full view of the city, and the sun shining through the glass.

"I have everything I could ever want," She continued, as she placed her jacket on the back of her chair, "I have a loving Mother, a nice home, a company that will forever be my Father's, and an amazing boyfri-" She stopped herself, and her bright smile turned into a sad frown.

"It's been a while, huh?" Gaara noticed.

She nodded, "It's been tough ever since Sasuke decided to go to a University in Suna. The long distance relationship worked out just fine, but I haven't talked to him in over two weeks. I wouldn't be surprised if he found a new girlfriend."

The crimson-haired man immediately frowned, "Sakura, Sasuke has been loyal to you for nearly five years now, even if those four years were just talking to each other behind a screen. You shouldn't think like that."

"But I am," She sighed, "I mean, have you seen him? Girls are probably throwing themselves at him. He's probably not a virgin anymore."

He rolled his eyes, "My goodness, have some faith."

"You're right. I shouldn't be talking to you about my relationship problems. You are my assistant, after all." She smiled.

As much as Sakura hated to admit it, she knew her smile was false. Sasuke has never left her mind for even a second. Their relationship isn't in the best condition. After Sakura decided to go to a local college for four years, Sasuke wanted to go too. She soon realized colleges were reaching out to him to attend, and she told him his education is more important. Sasuke decided to go to Suna, but promised he would always contact Sakura every day. And he did. That is, until two weeks ago. Sakura became the head of Haruno Web Industries just a month ago. She expected he'd come back to Konoha to see her, but he hasn't.

The door opened, and a surprised face appeared.

"Sakura!" Her mother exclaimed, and pulled her in for a hug.

Sakura accepted the hug, and replied, "How are you?"

They walked into her Mother's house, and sat on the couch.

"I've been great, dear. How's the company?"

Sakura laughed, "I never thought I'd be more stressed out in my entire life. But it's great."

Mebuki smiled, "I'm glad. Your Father would be so proud of you."

Sakura nodded, a sad smile crossed her face.

"So," her mother started, "Any grandchildren yet?"

The pinkette face-palmed herself, "I haven't even seen Sasuke in person in four years, let alone lost my virginity to him."

"Well, at least you're still innocent," Mebuki replied, "You won't be for long when you see Sasuke again." She mumbled.

Sakura rolled her eyes.

She walked into her apartment, and sighed while closing the door behind her. Lazily, almost loafing about, she dragged her feet into her room, and landed back first on the bed. She closed her eyes, trying to ease the headache that is beginning to form. Sasuke appeared in her mind, and she winced.

What are you doing right now, Sasuke?

Are you thinking about me like I am about you?

Do miss me as much as I miss you?

Have you met someone new?

Tears began to form in her eyes. What was she thinking? Their relationship wouldn't last long if it was to stay long distance.

He's probably kissing lips that aren't mine.

Turning her head, she saw the picture frame on her bed-side table. A picture she cut out of the yearbook with them in the cafeteria shamelessly flirting lays in the picture frame. Sakura grabbed the frame, and held it above her face, examining it.

"Times were much simpler back then."

Holding the picture to her chest, she closed her eyes as a tear rolled down her cheek.

"Good morning, Sakura." The receptionist greeted.

"Morning, Yumi. Any new clients?" She smiled.

"Yes, but Gaara's already taken care of it."

"Alright then. Thanks."

The receptionist smiled, as Sakura entered the elevator. Once the doors opened, she walked to her office, and unlocked the door as usual. She entered the office, and looked at the window blankly.

Why do I always expect you to be standing there every day?

Pushing the thought aside, Sakura sat in her desk chair and began working. Replying to numerous emails, and creating pieces of websites, she wished she could leave at that moment, and fly to Suna to see Sasuke. She can't stand not being able to see his face.

"Sakura?"

The receptionist came on the speaker from her office phone.

She clicked the button, "Yes, Yumi?"

"Someone's here for a job interview."

She sighed, exhausted, "Send him up."

And no notice? Damn. It's just non-stop.

Shaking her head, Sakura went back to her work, and waited to hear the knock on the door. It came after three minutes.

"Come in."

The door opened, and she spun her chair towards the door.

"Hi, welcome to Haru-" She stopped.

"I'm here to apply for the software engineer opening."

Drawing a shaky breath, she stood from her seat, and stared at the man, "You've got the job."

Her lip quivered, "Sasuke."

His lips formed into the usual smirk, and she ran to him, and threw her arms around his neck.

"Th-This must be a dream." Sakura sobbed.

Sakura looked at his face, and put her hand on his cheek, "Is this really you?"

The Uchiha tilted his head, "Did my absence make you this delusional?"

She chuckled, and brought his lips to hers, taking in the softness of his lips she hasn't felt in four years. After a short kiss, she broke it.

"Why haven't you contacted me?"

He sighed, "There's something I need to tell you."

Her heart immediately sunk, and she dropped her arms, "What is it?" The pinkette's tone was dreadful.

He scratched his neck, "There's this girl. . . "

Sakura placed her hands on her face, "Oh God, no."

Sasuke continued, "Who I've been seeing."

She let out a sob, "No, no, no."

The Uchiha sighed, "Sakura, look at me."

Hands still placed on her face, she shook her head.

"Dammit, Sakura," He grabbed her wrists, and forced her hands off her face, "Why are you crying?"

"Why would you ask me that question? You're seeing another girl!" Sakura yelled.

"Yes, I was seeing a girl to talk about moving to Konoha."

Sakura furrowed her eyebrows, confused, "What?"

"I'm moving to Konoha. I wanted to surprise you."

Her mouth opened in awe, "Are you serious?!"

"Yes."

"You're moving here?!"

"Yes."

"And the girl is a realtor?!"

"Yes."

"So you're telling me you haven't contacted me in two whole weeks because of a realtor?"

"Moving from one place to another costs a lot, Sakura. I've been busy with the cost of moving, plus I wanted this to be unexpected."

Sakura laughed happily, and hugged him again, "So you're still my boyfriend?"

He rolled his eyes, "Yes."

This time, Sasuke was the one to kiss her.

"Your Dad would be proud."

She giggled, "I hope so."

Sakura examined his face, "You're so different now. More mature, I see."

"Hn."

"And guess what, Sasuke." She smirked, "You work for me now."

He rolled his eyes, "I guess so."

They chatted about random topics for nearly an hour, until Sakura realized she had work to do, so she worked on her computer, while Sasuke looked around.

"How's your Mother?" He randomly asked.

"She wants grandchildren."

The Uchiha's eyes widened, and he gulped, "What?"

Sakura shrugged, "Maybe someday."

Little did they know, Mebuki would soon get her wish.
