Chapter 39: Smiles ~Final~
The final chapter is dedicated to: EVERYONE ~ Now, here is the last chapter of 'Internet Love.' :_)
Normal POV
She coughs to clear her throat, while everyone stares at her, smiling, "Uh hi there. I'm not really fond of speeches, so just bear with me, and please don't throw tomatoes!"
Everyone chuckled at what the happy girl said.
"I'm Sakura Haruno, and my Father was Kizashi Haruno. My Father was your boss. Now, I don't know what kind of relationship he had with all of you, but just know that he was the funniest man I ever saw. But like all of us, he had his downs. That took effect quickly, resulting in me losing my Father to business matters." She stared at the crowd for a moment, while she continued speaking into the podium microphone.
"And so, I found his will. It said only a Haruno shall be the owner of this business. This brought Deidara to justice." Sakura smiled.
The crowd clapped, obviously happy that Mr. Haku was gone for good.
"This is my business. I rightfully take ownership to this company. The problem is, I'm only 18." Everyone chuckled, "I have no idea how to even manage a business like this one, and I am not as fond as some of you in web design. I know I need more time to learn everything."
Her eyes directed to a crimson-haired fellow.
"And so, I will be going to college for approximently four years. The problem is, who will manage this company? There's only one person I know that has such a passion for what he does, that he went to school after school!" She giggled, "I want Gaara to be my eyes and ears while I'm gone."
Sakura saw his face light up at the comment, and nodded his head.
"So it's settled. While I'm away and leave Haruno Web Industries in Gaara's hand, all I ask is for you to have fun and enjoy working here. You don't have to live in fear of Deidara ruining your families or your lives with money. He's gone now, and I'm here. So. . . Can we get this company back to the way it was before?"
The whole crowd clapped and cheered, which left a wide smile painted on the young Haruno's face. She exited the stage, and everyone went to the snack bar to get finger food to celebrate the new owner of Haruno Web Industries.
Sakura's POV
I exited the stage, and everyone went to get some food. Kiba was in my line of sight, and I smiled at him. Once I he saw me, he smirked.
"Well Ms. Haruno, you did it!" He bear hugged me, and I grinned.
"I guess I did, didn't I?"
"Indeed. I'm so proud of you!" He released me, and I smiled sadly.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Kiba asked.
I sighed, "Sasuke didn't come-"
"Sakura."
I turned my head, and Gaara was looking at me.
"Oh hey." I put on a fake smile.
"I just want to say thank you for trusting me with your Father's company while you're gone. Even though I quit a while back when Deidara was here, you hired me back."
"Of course! Besides, Deidara was an asshole." I chuckled.
"Indeed," He smirked, "Well, the food is waiting for me. Have a good night, Sakura."
As a goodbye, I gave Gaara a sincere smile.
"Sakura, sweetie! Let's go home, I'm about to pass out from eating so much!" Mom came running towards us.
"Alright. Bye Kiba." I said, then hugged him.
He hugged me tighter, and said, "Just remember, there will always be that connection between us, so even though we aren't in school anymore, don't forget me."
"I'll never forget."

While sitting in the passenger seat of Mom's car, I thought about Sasuke. He practically saved my life only a week ago, yet I haven't heard from him. I thought he would come here and watch my speech, but he never came. After hearing Deidara say he forced Sasuke to break up with me, so I could marry him, I was confident Sasuke would come back to me, but I must be wrong. Depression is slowly lingering it's way to my emotions, invading like a virus. I touched the place on my neck where Deidara choked me, and sighed.
"What are you thinking about?" Mom asked out of no where.
"Sasu-" I stopped myself, and covered my mouth, then turned to Mom. She had a wide grin on her face.
"I approve." I couldn't read her tone. It wasn't strict, nor soft.
"What?"
"That boy saved your damn life. I will accept any young man in this family, if he is willing to save my daughter. He has my approval 100%." She smiled.
"Thanks, but I don't think that's going to happen." I looked down at my lap.
"And why is that?" She side glanced at me.
"I haven't heard from him since the 'incident.'" I replied.
"Don't doubt yourself. Uchiha's are very, what's the word. . .? Mysterious. They always have been, always will be. Maybe he's waiting for the right moment. When you two have my grandchildren-"
"Ahh, Mom!" I grabbed my head in annoyance.
"What?! He's a good-looking young man, you won't be able to resist him for long!" She snapped.
"I cannot believe you just said that."

Laying on my bed, I looked through the year book that I bought the other day. I was looking through all of the class photos, student photos, sports, clubs, etc. I stopped at one specific picture, and widened my eyes. It was a picture of the school cafeteria. The caption said 'Smiling faces during lunch.'
That's not what caught my attention though. In the midst of the students and tables, as clear as day, was a shot of Sasuke and I sitting across each other. Sasuke flirted with me, and told me I can't stand him up on a date. I smiled sadly, remembering his smirking face.
My phone beeped, and I picked it up, and unlocked it, without taking my eyes off the yearbook photo. After staring for a while longer, I finally looked at the screen. The Facebook page popped up.
No Name: You should get a new hobby. Staying in your room is pointless. Come outside for once ;)
I grinned from cheek to cheek. I haven't gotten a message from him in a while. Another beep went off.
No Name: Do you get the memo or what? ;)
I ran to my window, and there he was, on his phone. I slightly squealed, and ran down the stairs.
"What are you running for?!" Mom yelled.
I quickly replied, "He's here, he's here!" Then swung the door open.
He was in my line of sight, and my eyes lit up from the moment I saw him. I sprinted towards him as fast as I could.
"Sasuke!" I screamed, then held my arms out.
He looked up at me, and right when he did that, I jumped in his arms. Sasuke seemed to be taken by surprise, because he hesitated, before wrapping his free arm around my waist. I let him go.
"W-What are you doing here?" I asked.
"I uhh-" He scratched his head.
"Are you. . . Hesitating?!" An Uchiha never hesitates.
He looked down at the ground.
I gasped, "You are! What are you so afraid of-"
"Be my girlfriend." It wasn't a question. It was a demand. His tone was sharp.
"W-Wha-"
He softly pushed me against a tree, and leaned towards my ear.
He whispered, "Be my girlfriend. Don't make me wait." His warm breath gave me goosebumps.
I didn't know what to say. I'm speechless. All I did was hug him. He did the same.
"That's a no brainer," I let go and looked into his eyes, "You saved my life."
"No, don't accept me because I saved you. Accept me because you love me." He moved closer to me, making my back hit the tree again. Sasuke placed his hand on the tree, right above my head, trapping me. He was towering over me, and staring intently at me.
I looked up at him, "I've been waiting, for so long. I thought you hated me-"
"I was forced. You should know that by now." He slightly squinted his eyes, as if forcing me to answer quickly.
"Yes." I smiled.
He smirked, "I thought so. You're such an annoyance."
"You didn't call me an annoyoying until the other day," I giggled, "What's your problem?"
"You haven't left my thoughts, ever since I broke up with you," His expression changed into sadness at the thought, "I haven't been able to force you out of my mind. It was quite annoying."
I chuckled, "Same as you. Wait. . . Are you still leavin-"
"No. Where ever you go, I go." He said in a serious manner.
"Y'know," I poked his chest with my index finger, "I need a software engineer when I get back from college."
"Hn, I accept."
"You had no other choice anyway." I smirked, "This is going to sound far-fetched, but I'm afraid I'm in love with you." I said out of no where.
"Hn, it's quite obvious."
"Wha-" I was cut off.
His soft and plump lips touched mine in an instant. I relaxed after a few seconds, and closed my eyes. It started out as more of a romantic type kiss, but then turned deep and passionate. I placed both my hands on the back of his neck, while he lifted me up, forcing me to wrap my legs around his waist, with my back still against the tree.
I never want this to end-
"Hey! No making out in my front yard!" Mom interrupted.
We stopped automatically, and my feet dropped to the floor, but my hands were still placed on his neck. Both of our heads turned towards Mom, and she was standing at the doorway, with her hands on her hips, while her face held a smirk.
"Sorry Ms. Haruno." Sasuke sincerely said.
"Yeah, yeah Uchiha. Go take that somewhere else." She winked, then closed the door.
He looked at me, and chuckled, "You wanna go for a ride?"
I directed my gaze to his motorcycle, and smirked.
"Hell yeah!" I yelled in joy, and we made our way to the motorcycle.
Sasuke handed me the other motorcycle helmet, and I sat behind him, while wrapping my arms around his waist. The motorcycle roared.
"You ready?" He asked loudly.
"Hurry up and go!" I snapped.
And so he did. I smiled, and giggled at the speed we were going.
"I love you!" I screamed over the engine.
"What?!" He yelled back.
"I. Love. YOU!" My voice became louder.
"Yeah, yeah. I love you too." He mumbled.
And we kept riding along the streets.
