Sakura's POV

My heart was racing a thousand miles a second. All the sadness I have been dealing with this past year is fading away with every step I take. Each breath I took became heavier and heavier. I held the paper so tight in my hands, that it was beginning to crumble from my fierce grip. Once I reached the door, Mom looked at me frighteningly.

"Sakura? Where are you going?" She asked, getting up from her seat on the couch.

I didn't turn towards her. Instead, I opened the door with one swift motion, and stopped.

"I'm going to make things right. . . For us." Then I ran out the door.

It was night time already. Stars weren't visible in the sky, due to the stormy clouds that were beginning to slowly roll in. The atmosphere matched my facial expression. I was determined with every marching step I took down the street. Emotions were flowing through me from head to toe. I honestly didn't know what to think about this. I'm mostly mad at myself for not finding this sooner, but I'm also feeling victorious that this company with stay in the family name.

Once I reached the city, it was empty. There were a few people here and there, but they were speed walking, probably to get home before the bad weather threatens to pour down on them. Haruno Web Industries was in my line of vision, and my eyebrows furrowed with determination and victory.

Walking inside my company, the desk lady looked at me with a shocked expression. I ignored her, and went into the elevator, with the paper still in hand. I was pumped. Something positive was finally going to happen to me. My life was going to turn reach a good turning point. It's finally time I save myself for once. I just hope my Father is cheering me on from beyond.

I didn't hesitate. The elevator doors opened, and I ran down the narrow hallway, leading to his office. He is going to get it. All of his lies and blackmailing is going to stop now. I'm not going to knock. I'm not going to be polite. No, I am going to run into that room, and stop him. And that is exactly what I did.

"Saku-" Deidara exclaimed, shock apparent in his eyes.

"Save it." I snap, "You see this?" I held up the paper in between my fingers.

"What about it?" Deidara stiffened.

"This is my Father's will." I smirk.

His eyebrows furrowed.

"It reads, 'A Haruno, and only a Haruno shall be the owner of Haruno Web Industries. Preferably, my wife and daughter.' It's over, Deidara. I'm taking this to company management immedietly." My body shifted towards the door, and I began walking.

"Hmph. Quite the contrary, my dear blossom."

Arms wrapped around my body, and I gasped in surprise. I was lifted up, and thrown towards the ground. I winced in pain, as my head hit the tiled floor hard. When I opened my eyes, I saw Deidara's hand reach for the lock on the door. With one quick motion, it was turned, and a 'click' was heard. I gulped. He turned towards me, and looked down at me, smirking.

"Let me clarify something." He said arrogantly.

His shoe kicked my side hard, and I gasped in pain. The impact made my body turn away from him. I tried with all my might to get up, but his shoe slammed down on my back, making me fall down again.

"Haruno Web Industries is my company now. I have worked too hard to have you ruin everything. I don't give a damn if you're my fiance." He bend down to my level, and grabbed my chin roughly, making me stare at him.

"Am I going to have to do more to make you understand that?" He asked.

I grit my teeth, but spit on his face and said, "Go to hell."

He smirked at me, then wiped off the saliva from his face.

"I see." Then his hand connected with my face, making a stinging sensation surround my cheek.

He began walking away from my body, and looked out the window.

"Y'know, I always thought you were a strong young women. When your Father died, and when I forced Sasuke to break up with you, you didn't give up on yourself. I repected that."

I felt his hand grab my hair, and he pushed me on the wall near the door. His arm was placed on my throat, threatening to choke me. His body was touching mine, and my eyes were widened. I'm in pain, serious pain. He leaned towards me ear.

"I was wrong. You're just as weak as your Father was."

That made me snap.

"Don't you ever insult my Father again!" I slipped under his arm a bit, and dug my teeth into his arm so hard, my teeth went through the fabric of his clothing, and found their way to his skin. Blood began to seep out quickly.

He screamed, and released me. I then used all my strength to punch him in the jaw. This is my chance. I reached the door, and put my hand on the door handle, but it was too late. His hand reached my neck, and I was swung back and my body collapsed on the floor once again.

"You little bitch." He got on top of me, and wrapped his hands firmly around my neck, but there was no pressure.

"Now I'm going to have to get rid of you too."

All I could do was stare at his demonic eyes. This is it. I'm going to die. All because I wanted to make things right. I thought of Mom, Kiba, and Sasuke. Those are the three people in my life that I trust with all my heart. Even if Sasuke could care less about my existence, I still love him. I just wish I could have said goodbye to all three of them.

My thoughts were stopped, when my breathing stopped, and hands were squeezing my throat.

Sasuke's POV

I've made up my mind. I don't care anymore. Deidara is going to take Sakura's hand in marriage. I just want to set him straight, and warn him of a few things, before I move away and leave Sakura and all of my friends behind.

My car parked in front of Haruno Web Industries, and I stepped out. I walked through the lobby, and ignored the desk lady. Once the elevator doors opened to the 21st floor, a strange feeling came to me. It was unsettling. I pushed the feeling away, and walked down the hallway. Once I reached the door, swung it open without knocking.

Sakura's POV

I wanted to breathe through the pain, but that was impossible. This is a terrible way to die. The process is slow, painful, and terrifying. I don't know when I'm going to die from this. All I know is that it's coming, but it feels like an eternity has passed. I want to close my eyes, but I can't. When I finally knew that my last sight would be of Deidara's face, I tried my best to close my eyes.

I didn't feel anymore pain. Was I dead? No, I can't be. I can still feel throbbing from my throat. I open my eyes, and all I see is the white ceiling. Then I heard a gasp.

Sasuke's POV

I opened the door, and stopped breathing. What I saw made me stop what I was doing. Deidara was on top of Sakura. I can't tell what they were doing, until I noticed Sakura was struggling. I knew immedietly he was hurting her. Without hesitation, I grabbed Deidara's collar, and pulled him off of her.

He flew back, and hit the wall. I pulled him up to the wall, and grabbed his collar with one hand. My eyes held an intense glare.

"What the hell do you think you're-" I cut myself off. My eyes dropped to the ground. There was a peice of paper, and I could see the words. It was a will.

"You bastard!" I continued, "You're hurting a women just for that?!" My fist connected with his face.

"Heh," Deidara started, "I don't see why you love her. She's weak."

That comment made me snap, and I knocked him out with five hard punches. My instincs told me to tell someone to get help, and I remembered the desk lady. Running to Deidara's desk, I grabbed the phone. There was a peice of tabe on a button that said, 'Lobby,' and I pushed it.

"Yes?" The lady said.

"Call an ambulance. Now." I demanded sharply.

"Wha-"

"Now!" I screamed, then hung up.

My attention turned to Sakura. I ran to her, and her eyes started closing slowly. I fell to the ground, and looked at her. Without a second though, I pulled her to me, and let her head rest on my chest, until help would arrive.

"S-Sasuke." She said softly.

"It's okay. You'll be fine." I closed my eyes.

"Thank you. . ." Sakura replied.

"Hn. You're so annoying."

She chuckled lightly, and all I could do was wait for help to arrive. And so I did. With her in my arms.
