Chapter 25: Imperfection
Dedicated to YathzinaNarutoLover: Your comments make me laugh! Thanks for supporting this story! :)
I ran. I ran from Sasuke. I ran from our past. I ran from all the hope I had.
It's not a good thing to think since a boy broke up with me, I think my life is over. But that's exactly how it is. Sasuke gave me hope. And that hope is lost.
I don't know how fast or how long I was running. I blocked out all the cars that came my way and the stares strangers gave me. I could feel my tears spiraling off my face and the pain my bottom lip had from me biting down so hard to keep from screaming.
I've always been imperfect, but do I deserve this much pain?
~~~~~~~~~~
Deidara's POV
I sit in my office chair, looking out the very large window that is directly behind my desk. Looking into the crowded city, I smirk. I won. Sakura Haruno will be my wife and I will have more fortune just from it. I will keep succeeding from this point on.
I reach into my drawer and grab a ball of clay. I put it in between the palms of both my hands and open them up. A clay bird rests on my hand and I smile.
"Pingeons should suit the wedding."
Sasuke's POV
I watch Sakura's figure bolt away from me. My anger meter rises and I punch the tree that was behind me at least ten times. Even though I see blood dripping from my knuckles, I know I deserve it.
"Dammit!" I yell.
I get into my car and drive away from the neighborhood. I know exactly where I'm going to go.
Gaara's POV
Sakura marrying Deidara? That was the project all along? I can't say I'm not happy about it, but it is a great way to promote the business. That doesn't change the fact that it's wrong and minipulative.
I walk down the long, narrow hallway that lead's to Mr. Haku's office. I need to know more about this project. I need to convince him he shouldn't be doing this. Especially to an 18 year old girl.
I knock on his door hesitantly, but no answer. I knock once again-
"Just come in Gaara!" He yells not as rude as I would think.
Walking in, I notice he's smirking. Once I shut the door, he looks up at me and smiles.
"You do realize you don't have to knock, as long as I don't have the 'do not disturb sign' up." He explains.
"I understand, Mr. Haku." I bow.
"So, what do you need?"
"I was hoping to talk about Sakura Haruno."
Sasuke's POV
I burst through the doors of the large building and gasps are filled throughout the large lobby, but I ignore them. Stomping through the lobby to the elevator, I everyone moves out of my way.
"Excuse me sir, but you can't go up there!" A women yells.
I ignore her and punch the up button roughly. The elevator door opens and I click the floor I want to go to.
Now to wait.
Deidara's POV
"Ahh my dear cherry blossom. I'm always up for talking about her." I smirk.
"Sir, do you think she will truly accept your offer?" Gaara asks.
"It's not an offer." I furrow my eyebrows.
"So it's more of a command?"
"Call it a favor, Gaara. I'm doing this for the good of her." I answer.
"What if this isn't good for her? Maybe she actually loves the Uchiha."
I smile, "Gaara, are you saying that you don't agree with my upcoming actions. Because if that's so, then you need to be taken care of immedietly."
"No sir, I'm not. I'm just asking curious."
"Don't be, because she's mine." I answer.
The door slams open and I look ahead, shocked at who I see.
"You bastard!" He yells.
Sasuke's POV
I march down the hallway, my anger rising even higher. I'm about to walk in, until I hear voices talking and I put my ear against the door to listen.
"Sir, do you think she will truly accept your offer?"
"It's not an offer."
"So it's more of a command?"
"Call it a favor, Gaara. I'm doing this for the good of her."
This bastard...
"What if this isn't good for her? Maybe she actually loves the Uchiha."
"Gaara, are you saying that you don't agree with my upcoming actions. Because if that's so, then you need to be taken care of immedietly."
"No sir, I'm not. I'm just asking curious."
"Don't be, because she's mine."
That's it!
I slam open the door, and yell, "You bastard!"
"Ah Mr. Uchiha. How nice of you to-"
I cut him off when I push him up against the large window behind him, and hold him by his collar with both hands.
"Now you listen to me." I demand, through gritted teeth.
"Sasuke." Gaara interrupts.
"Shut the hell up!" I yell.
He furrows his eyebrows at me, and I continue looking at Deidara.
"You have no idea whats best for her. As a matter of fact, you are FAR from knowing. I do love her, but I'm only letting you go along with your plan, because I don't want YOU to make her life a living hell, because I know you will. Just know this Mr. Haku," I slur, "she is and will always be mine." I let him go.
Once I turn around for the door, I hear laughter behind me. Once I turn towards Deidara, his head is looking down, and he's giggling. I glance at Gaara and he's squinting at Deidara suspiciously. I focus my gaze on the blonde again.
"A man with fortune always wins." He says with his head still down, "Always," He puts his head back up, "Have a nice day, Sasuke."
Without saying another word, I leave.
Damn him...
~~~~~~~~~~
I hate Deidara. I hate him SO MUCH!!!
I updated on a FRIDAY, because I didn't update last Saturday like I was supposed to. Instead I updated on Monday, and I felt bad.
I would update more, but school just... Sucks. I effin' hate it.
Anyway, I have been getting quite a bit of positive feedback on this story and that makes me SO grateful. I didn't know if this type of plot line would work, but I think I'm doing well for a bored 13 year old girl.
Also, I have decided that I am going to dedicate chapters to those who have been commenting!
Thanks SO SO SO SO SO much for reading and have a GREAT Friday night! (I know I will, because I'm eating pizza tonight :3)
Ta Ta ;D
