Jungkook: hey Taehyung
V: that's unusual. You usually don't text me out of no where...
Jungkook: I wanted you to know that I'm coming to visit Japan. Wanna meet up, I'm actually coming today... I might already be there...
V: yeah, my part time job isn't until later
Jungkook: cool! :)

Taehyung and Jungkook were also best friends. But not as much as Hoseok and Taehyung were.

They made their plans to meet up in an hour.

Taehyung looked at his phone and decided to message Hoseok. It's actually been a few days since he's talked to Hoseok. He felt really embarrassed after being rejected that he ignored him.

V: hey hyung
Jhope: it's been forever since you messaged me, you said you were going to talk to me two days ago
V: sorry I've been busy, I can see you spammed me with messages asking if I was alright
Jhope: of course I did. Sorry if i bothered you, I didn't know you were so busy
V: it's fine
Jhope: do you have a day off today?
V: yeah, I only have one part time job later
Jhope: oh... Well don't work too hard, no one wants you getting sick
V: I won't. Don't worry.
Jhope: ok good
V: I'm surprised you aren't awkward texting me especially after what I told you three days ago
Jhope: it's not my first time being confessed to
V: by a guy?
Jhope: well yeah, that's a first... But I'm not awkward talking to you, maybe that's cause I'm awkward myself
V: awkward buddies!
Jhope: yeah! Awkward buddies!
V: sorry hyung, I gtg now
Jhope: I thought you didn't have anything to do til later
V: I'm meeting Jungkook, he's visiting here maybe sometime you should too
Jhope: sounds like a plan
V: good

Taehyung didn't get another message from Hoseok. He headed off to the coffee shop he was going to meet Jungkook at.

"Hey Jungkookie." Taehyung said as he sat at the table Jungkook was.

"Hey, it's been a while." Jungkook smiled.

They ordered their coffee and talked a bit.

"So, you know Hoseok hyung?" Taheyung asked all of a sudden, "Like, actually met him."

Jungkook nodded, "I go to his dance studio."

"Ah... I've seen videos of him and he seems like a good dancer... How does he actually look?" Taehyung tilted his head.

"He's good... I guess. Hyung, you sound like a fanboy or a stalker or something..." Jungkook sighed, "Let's not talk about him."

"Why not?"

"Because I don't like it." Jungkook rolled his eyes.

"Why? Isn't he your friend?"

"It's cuz I like you, you idiot." Jungkook hesitated to say but said it anyway.

"Woah, what happened to that little innocent Jungkook I knew back in middle school. Anyway aren't you still in high school?" Taehyung chuckled. "Also, I thought you liked Jin."

"Jin doesn't like me back and I can have two crushes... I know you had two crushes once at a certain point when you were in high school." Jungkook said.

"True... Uh, but you know who I like, right?" Taehyung asked.

Jungkook nodded, "It's obvious. So obvious. But I'll be in Japan for a while... Can you give me a chance?" Jungkook asked.

Taehyung thought about it, he didn't even have a chance with Hoseok... At least that's what he thought.

"Okay." Taehyung said.

"Great! Can this be our first date then?"

Taehyung nodded, "Sure."

Taehyung wasn't the happiest person in the world but he wasn't upset either. He didn't want Jungkook to feel rejected and depressed the way Hoseok made Taehyung feel either.

After a while, Taehyung checked his watch, "Sorry, Jungkook, I've gotta go now. It's about time I get to my job." Taehyung said as he stood up.

"Ok, want me to walk you there?"

"If you want." Taehyung shrugged.

They ended up walking to Taehyung's job next to each other.

"Wanna hold hands?" Taehyung asked bluntly, he knew Jungkook was thinking it and he didn't want Jungkook to hold it in.

Jungkook nodded and reached for Taehyung's hand.

The rest of the way to the job, they walked hand in hand, but Taehyung felt nothing at all except for embarrassment that two guys were holding hands.

When they arrived to the job, Jungkook went into an alley next to the job pulling Taehyung with him.

"I'll see you later, Hyung." Jungkook said.

Taehyung nodded, "ok, but why did you bring me over here?" He asked, giving a slight smile.

"To do this." Jungkook gave Taehyung a light kiss on the cheek, "Good luck at your job."

Taehyung looked down, "Okay, see you later." And headed into his work. Again, he felt nothing with that.

Hoseok looked at his phone waiting for a message from Taehyung. Nothing. He didn't know why he felt that way.

Instead he decided to go into the group chat:

Jin: what do you mean you're dating Taehying now?? What about me?
Jungkook: you rejected me and I like you both...
Jin: I didn't reject you! I just said to wait!!
Jhope: guys... You do realize this is a group chat, right?
Jin: yes!
Jhope: wait? Jungkook...
Jungkook: wat?
Jhope: why was the first message I saw when I got on here Jin yelling at you for dating Taehyung?
Jungkook: Well I'm in Japan now, it's pretty scary since I don't know much Japanese, and I confessed to Taehyung and now we are dating.
Jungkook: I even held hands with him and kissed him on the cheek.
Jhope: he literally just confessed to me three days ago, wth
Jungkook: are you mad? You were the one who rejected him
Jin: oh I see where this is heading. Jungkook is a rebound! Ha! Aren't you sad you didn't wait!
Jungkook: shut up
Jhope: so... I'm too late?
Jungkook: yep
Jin: nope like I said, Jungkook is a rebound
Jin: wait do you heave feelings for him?
Jungkook: you better not, he's mine now
Jhope: no I don't... I think. Idk I gtg...

Hoseok immediately texted Taehyung after he left the group chat:

Jhope: why didn't you tell me??
V: hey... I'm at work right now, this has gotta be quick. Tell you what?
Jhope: that you and that fetus Jungkook is dating now! I didn't give you permission.
V: why the hell do I need your permission to date someone?
Jhope: because you confessed to me
V: but you rejected me. Case closed, goodbye! I'm gonna go continue my work in peace!
Jhope: we weren't done yet
Jhope: why aren't you answering
Jhope: I'm gonna fly to Japan right now if you don't answer
V: ... There I answered. I told you I'm busy. Bye.

The truth was, Taehyung was on a little break, but he was on the edge of tears now because of how Hoseok got mad at him.

"I'm sorry, Hoseok, I'm sorry..." He mumbled to himself and didn't answer Hoseok the rest of the day.

Jungkook was waiting for Taehyung when he got done with work.

They spent the rest of the day together but all Taehyung could think of was Hoseok.
