It's been two months since Taehyung and Hoseok had met each other online. They've been texting, skyping, and calling each other. Mostly texting.

Yet, they still didn't know each other's actual name since they both agreed to keep it hidden for safety reasons.

Taehyung went by V and Hoseok went by Jhope.

Taehyung hasn't met Hoseok yet because they live in different countries. Due to family issues like money and stuff which is really bad now, somehow Taehyung's father found a job in Japan and he lives there. But only for temporarily, he doesn't know how long though.

Hoseok lives a perfectly normal life in Korea as a dance teacher.

The day started off as Taehyung woke up on his futon to the ringing of his phone.

He looked at it and it said: Jhope

His smile brightened and he answered it.

"Hey. Did I wake you up?" Hoseok greeted over the phone.

"Uh, no, I've been awake for a while." Taehyung lied.

"Oh, that's good that I didn't wake you."

"Yeah... So what's up." Taehyung yawned.

"I'm just making sure nothing's happening with your family right now. I remembered you told me that they ignore you a lot and when they don't, they just order you around a lot." Hoseok said to him.

"Oh... Yeah... Uh, everything is fine. Didn't I tell you that it was my mom who did that, not my dad." Taehyung said.

"Still, you should get some rest. I'm surprised you were even awake this early." Hoseok told him.

"Well, thanks for worrying even though you don't have to..." Taehyung looked over at the clock and realized it was almost time for his part time job. "I gotta go, I'll talk to you later, ok?"

"Is it another part time job?"

"Yeah, sorry." They said goodbye to each other and hung up.

Taehyung got ready quickly and headed outside the door.

"Remember to watch your brothers so be home in 4 hours!" His mom shouted as he left.

"Yeah, yeah! I know!" He walked out into the sidewalk and headed to his job.

He remembered the first time Hoseok and him met as he walked to his job.

It was actually the first week that Taehyung had moved to Japan. He was getting stuff unpacked as someone just joined a group chat that Taehyung was in with 5 of his other friends that he had back in Korea.

He talked to Jhope for a while and they became best friends.

But now... Taehyung was starting to get feelings for him even though Jhope didn't have feelings for Taehyung.

Right then, Taehyung got a text from the group chat:

Jin: where's V? We haven't heard from him in a while.

Jhope: I talked to him earlier. He's heading to his part time job now, let him be.

Jin: ok, so what's up?

Taehyung didn't answer any messages because he arrived at his job right then. He shut off his notifications and got in his "uniform"

His first part time job was at a grocery store. It only lasted two hours.

Once he was done, he headed to his next one which lasted an hour and a half.

It was at a gas station. He worked there and had to head home to watch his brothers.

He got home to his two younger brothers hugging him tightly.

"Hey guys." He rubbed both of their heads.

"Hyung! Give me a piggy back ride!" One of them ordered.

"Ok. Ok." He kneeled down as his brother got on his back. He went around the house, running.

"My turn hyung!" He let down his brother and the other got on. He repeated what he did before.

Finally the two younger ones calmed down.

Hoseok had a normal day. He headed off to work at the dance studio and taught a group of kids a dance.

But the problem was, once that group of his kids left, his manager called him in.

"Hoseok... I have some bad news..." The manager said.

"What is it?" Hoseok tilted his head.

"This dance studio isn't get a lot of money... The inspectors came by and said if we don't get a certain amount of students in the next month, we will be shut down."

Hoseok's eyes widened, "Ah, I see... I'll do something about it." Hoseok stood up and waited for his next group to come.

He had a while until he did, so he decided to text his best friend who he cared for much but didn't know why:

Jhope: hey, you there?
V: yeah. I'm taking care of my little brothers right now.
Jhope: don't you always take care of them?
V: yeah. So?
Jhope: like I said, you should get some rest. Don't you have class tomorrow at your college?
V: yeah. I do... I also have three part time jobs after.
Jhope: I swear, I'm gonna ride my horse all the way to Japan and force you to get some rest
V: there's a ocean in the way. You're older, don't you know that?
Jhope: I'll ride my Pegasus then.
V: have fun with that. What about you though? You must work a lot with your job.
Jhope: not really. My dance studio isn't the popular.
V: oh... why do you even care anyway?
Jhope: cuz I'm your best friend. Best friends care for each other.
V: right... Best friends...
Jhope: ?
V: nothing. Hey, I gtg my little brothers are whining for food.
Jhope: ok! See ya. Go get some rest.

Hoseok went into the group chat since he still had a little bit.

Jhope: hey guys
RapMonster: hey
Jhope: whatchya doing
RapMonster: don't ever say that again...
Jhope: sorry...
RapMonster: I'm wondering too, where's V?
Jhope: babysitting his brothers
Jungkook: dude I feel like you're lying now
RapMonster: same.
Jin: same 2
Suga: me too.
Jimin: yeah, you probably murdered him and you're trying to hide it.
Jhope: I haven't even met him like you guys how is that possible?
Jimin: you guys are like best friends though.
Jhope: yeah, so why would I murder him? Oh gtg students are coming.

Hoseok shut off his phone and started the next class.

Finally his work was over and he headed home.

He checked his phone and their was nothing from V.

Until one text message:

V: goodnight. I'll try to talk more in the group chat tomorrow. Jin was chewing me out earlier for it.
Jhope: lol okay. Night.

Hoseok fell asleep after that last message.

And so did Taehyung.
