Tick...tock...tick...tock...tick...tock...

This was the final moment, everything boiled down to this. It was up to us now.

"Right everyone, synchronise watches in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1..."

Beep, Beep.

It was time.

I grabbed my pistol and positioned it in a halter on my leg. I took one last look behind me to make sure the coast was clear before signalling to Giovanni who was on the other side of the bush. He winked at me and looked straight towards the Colombian Cartel base.

It was hidden deep beneath the trees, under the thick growth of the jungle canopy above. It was almost frightening how it was hidden from the outside world. These people were well organised, they knew what they would have to face.

We had worked out there was 6 main guard points each with 2 guards, in total 12 patrolling the outside of the base.

I could see the next pair of guards patrolling the entrance to the base, they were just in front of a large, electric fence, covered in barbed clumps of wire that were line with, what we discovered, was arsenic, a subtle yet deadly poison.

I looked back at Giovanni and he gestured for the rest of us to put on our masks, we did and he pulled the first pin on the smoke bomb. He threw it as far as he could and it landed at the guards feet.

*Giovanni's POV*

BOOM!

The bomb exploded at the guards feet sending him and his comrade into the electric fence. It was a nice sight seeing them electrocuted, the burning smell of their flesh filling my nostrils as I breathed.

Well that got creepy real fast...

I waited for them to stop screaming before running towards the fence, followed closely behind Adrijan.

"Ok, I'll grab your ankles and throw you over the fence."

"You being serious? You can't lift me."

"Listen, the bomb will have alerted the guards so unless you want to fail the mission, stand the hell in front of me and let me throw you across the fence."

"Fine" he grunted, standing in front of me. I bent down and held onto his ankles, almost buckling under his weight, This guy was fat.

I balanced him on my shoulders and stumbled towards the fence, trying to avoid the barbed wire, although it would be funny if he was spiked in the face. I felt him smack my head and point to two men running towards us.

"Throw me you twat!" he yelled. I throwed him over the fence and while he was in Mid air he grabbed a pistol from the halter on his leg and started shooting at them. He landed, shot one in the head and roundhouse kicked the other guard in the jaw, snapping it in the process. I pointed towards the box on the wall and he smashed it with his fist, sending a shower of sparks hurtling across the fences. I threw myself to the ground to avoid being electrocuted.

The sparks stopped eventually and I managed to brush the dust off my legs. I saw a security camera staring at me. I gave it a wink and shot the lens, the glass shattering into a million pieces. That should have got their attention.

In a few short seconds I had managed to signal to the others, I had got Pepe and Pierre over the fence and they were already heading into the base. Now it was Elizabeth's turn.

"You ready Bella?"

"Way ahead of you Bello!"

Without warning she had climbed up a tree and was standing on one of the branches.

"Do you know what you're doing?" I yelled up at her.

"Nope!" she yelled back. She jumped off of the branch, grabbing onto a disconnected telephone wire and swinging over the fence and landing into Adrijan's Arms.

*Elizabeth's POV*

"Had a nice fall?"

"It was Just Peachy!" I said with a smile. He was grasping me tightly and just staring into my eyes.

"Ragazzi! Remember we have a mission to complete, help me over the fence eh?"

I forgot that Giovanni was on the other side of the fence. Adrijan Put me down gently and I gave Giovanni a wink.

"Have fun Boys!" I said with a smile as I turned on my heel and ran into the base.

I had to be sneaky about this. The Guards would know we were here by now and I needed to avoid the majority of them if I wanted to have any chance of finding the room where the chip was hidden. I needed to find Natalie if she was here.

While running I spotted a fairly large crate that was next to a wall. I decided to climb on top of the crate.

The wall was quite low and it didn't reach the ceiling so I could just peer over it.

The cargo bay was littered with guards, each carrying a Ak - 47 which appeared to be loaded. From what I could tell they were speaking Spanish, rolling there Rs so smoothly, chocolate could have melted. I felt the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end as a muscular looking guard walked in my direction. I ducked behind the wall quickly and held my breath. I could hear the guards footsteps get deafeningly louder until they stopped suddenly, the echo bouncing off the metal walls.

"Enrique? Did you spot anything unusual?" I heard the soldier say.

"No, unless you count Serafin actually being nice for once" another, gruffer voice replied this time.

It was unusual for them to be speaking English, especially when this was in the heart of Colombian jungle but then my heart stopped as i heard the reason why.

"Alberto? Enrique? Where are you?"

It was a high pitched female voice. The women spoke in an English accent and a sense of foreboding filled the room, almost as if the sun was hiding from the situation.

"Natalie...Still haven't learnt Spanish?"

"Don't question me Enrique...did you find the Agents?"

"Natalie for the fifth time, NO. I feel as though you are being paranoid. There is no one here."

"Maybe you should go back to the gutter you crawled out of Natalie, You are just the Bosses Rebound. Nothing special" Laughed Alberto. I heard a slight humph and then the room went red.

"INTRUDER ALERT!" "INTRUDER ALERT".

Someone had set of the alarm and now there were soldiers everywhere, frantically scrambling to search for the culprit. The marching of feet surrounded me but no one had seemed to notice me yet.

"Maybe you should stop kissing the bosses Arse and actually do your job!" I heard Natalie yell after Alberto and Enrique who had passed me on there way out.

Soon the room was empty except from Natalie facing away from me. I studied her carefully. Her dark hair was wound up into a bun. she was wearing a black dress and black heals, as though she was dressed for a funeral. She looked glamourous and refined to the naked eye but I could see the truth she was hiding for so long. She was and evil person with a soul so twisted and tormented that the devil himself hid from her viciousness.

"Hello Elizabeth".

I froze.

She turned and looked at me, no emotion on her face at all.

She motioned for me to stand in front of her. I tried to resist but my energy was drawn to hers, pulling and tugging for me to go near her.

"Natalie, what are you doing here?".

she sighed, I was now in front of her, we were face to face.

"I have a purpose now, a new beginning. You can't stop me Elizabeth"

"What about Matthew?"

she sighed and looked down at her feet.

"Didn't you love him?"

"Of course I loved him...But that's different now! I Love Serafin and he loves me."

I scoffed. "You call this love? If he loved you he would have made sure you were safe during the Alert but there are no guards here! No one loves you. "

Her breaths became faster and shorter as her anger grew.

I placed me hand behind my back and reached for a gun.

"You know nothing about me Elizabeth! You will pay!" she said as she charge towards me.

I slid to the left and stuck out my leg which tripped her up.

"You are losing your touch Natalie"

She glared at me and took deep breaths. With a sudden burst of energy she thrust herself towards me, knocking me off of my feet. We were wrestling on the metal floor of the base, i was trying to gain control but she was stronger than she looked, digging her heel into my ankle I cried out in pain.

"Weak, little Girl...You call yourself an Agent?"

She dug her heel into me harder, Blood was now pouring out from my ankle. I was becoming to weak, I looked at the base of her heel. It was laced in a white powder.

"Arsenic?" I said in between stuttered breaths. she laughed as she pulled the gun from my hand and threw it away from us.

"You wish...its a sedative darling, you just need a little more."

without warning she grabbed a knife covered in the powder and stabbed my abdomen.

I screamed out in pain and yelled for the others. My cries echoed of the walls but they fell on deaf ears.

The blood was flowing faster now, I was slowly losing more and more of that precious liquid.

I was going to die.

*Pepe's POV*

"Don't stop believing! Hold on to that Feeling!"

"Pepe, shut up! do you want them to hear us?" whispered Pierre as he ran behind me.

"Despacito, quiero respirar tu cuello despacito!" I sung out in perfect pitch, sounding exactly the same as luis fonsi.

"Pepe, save it for your next album ok?" sighed Pierre in disbelief.

"You just can't appreciate good music Amigo!" I said as we slowed to a halt. We were infront of a large door. It must be the entrance into one of the bays. I scanned the door and saw that it needed a passcode to activate it.

I motioned for Pierre to look and I traced my finger over the keypad.

"It needs a passcode".

Pierre looked down at his watch. "Well we don't have time for that!" he said and in one swift movement he had punched the keypad so hard that it shattered into a few pieces.

Before I could say anything a Siren went off and the room flashed red.

"INTRUDER ALERT!", "INTRUDER ALERT!".

"Eres un idiota de mierda!" I yelled as the door opened to reveal about 20 soldiers.

"Desole" he said with he shrug as we faced the soldiers.

"Well, Well, Well...Look what we have here, A has been and a one hit wonder!" laughed a tall, well built man who had slightly thinning hair.

"Sorry, Are we supposed to be impressed by that?" said a unfazed Pierre. He raised his left eyebrow at the soldiers and waited patiently for their answer.

"You won't be laughing when we give you over to Serafin!" the man scoffed.

"Ooo, I'm shaking in my custom Baby seal leather boots!" I said clasping my face and shaking my legs in a mocking manner.

"Matalos Y los dos!" yelled the man to his soldiers

"No, no lo haras!" I shouted as I pulled out my gun and started firing at the other men. The bullets ricochet from wall to wall as they flew into the flesh of one man, ripping gaping and bloodied holes into him, and then into another soldier. I could see his life torn out of him in front of my eyes. It wasn't a pleasant sight but it doesn't effect me anymore.

I turned to my right to see Pierre punch a guy in the gut and push him hard into a two other soldiers, there backs cracking against each other as they fainted from the pain he caused them.

There were more soldiers flooding into the bay now and it was difficult for us to keep them off of us. My arm was pulled towards the floor and I used my free arm to punch the guy in the jaw so he would let go. Suddenly I felt a sharp pain on my leg and looked down to see a dart hanging out of it.

"Pierre!" I yelled as I saw him collapse to the floor while being surrounded by guards. I pushed my way through the guards but collapsed a few feet from him. My vision blurred and my eyes rolled into the back of my head.

I blacked out.

*Giovanni's POV*

I hated this mission as much as I hated the guy next to me.

Adrijan is a stuck up asshole who needs to lighten up. I was still fuming about how he beat me in the fight but I tried to not let it get to me. We had heard the siren go off which meant the majority of the guards had left to see who it was which left us plenty of time to capture Serafin.

"Giovanni, stop a second."

I slowed down my running to a gentle stop and shot him a glare. He was looking at a map and then at a vent above him.

"Nope, na ah, I am NOT getting up there." I stated firmly.

"From the looks of things there are around 5 guards that should patrol here any minute now so that would give us the height advantage." He said pointing to the vent on my side.

"I hate you, stupid Vlach.!" I muttered under my breathe. He shot me a glance.

"Oh I see how you are playing this game...Terrone" he replied smirking. My eyes narrowed and I clenched my fists. He has no idea what he is saying.

"Stai zitto Adrijan..."

I squeezed my self into the vent and was laying flat, my sniper rifle in position. Suddenly the 5 guards game round the corner stopping just below the vent. I was about to pull the trigger when three of them were shot at once. I pulled the trigger twice and shot down the other two guards.

We climbed down from our vents in unison and I checked a couple of the guys pulses.

"Dead. How did you do that so fast?"

"Practice? I had a boring childhood. My father was part of the military." He said with a shrug.

"well, that was good." I said with a slight smile.

"what's embarrassing is that your 30 and I'm 27 but I'm better at this than you" he said as he started walking down the corridor where the guards came from.

"Eh, lucky shot I guess."

"Right...".

I followed him out into an area with a large open space. It had a few crates in the corner and there was a large metal floor.

"Lets split up and look around eh?" I suggested and Adrijan agreed. I headed towards a large wall and started to examine the floor. A large blood stain adorned it with a few specks of white powder.

I took out a swab and took a sample of some of the blood which i then put into a device which could match up the blood to anyone we had on the database.

"Adrijan! I found something!" I called and he came rushing over with a packet of something.

"So did I, I found a small packet of white powder over behind those crates." he said holding it up to my face.

"Does it match this?" I said pointing to the white specks on the blood stained floor.

"Jesus, what happened?" he seemed shocked which was unusual for his stone cold emotions.

"No idea, I'm running a blood test now." I said.

"Its a large amount, know one could survive that surely?"

suddenly I heard a beep and looked down a the device.

I stood in silence.

"What is it?" Adrijan said stealing the device away from me.

"Its Elizabeth's blood."

Before he could react to this devastating news I collapsed as a sharp throbbing pain was stabbing into my ankle. I looked through faded vision as Adrijan was being dragged away by some men in dark clothes.

I passed out.

*I was away doing my GCSE's and I had a dark spell of writers block which stopped me from writing! But I'm back now!**
