I thought that was rather funny
Considering what I am compared to her
She said I beyond what beyond meant
Yet I feel her straining at the words
She said we're going too fast

The darkness is taking control
Sure, I don't see it like others do
She's cracking around them

I keep her grounded to reality she says
I'm a therapist they all say
I listen
I talk
I give advice they need
Yet I ask for nothing in return
Not even respect for my words
