Reading reminded me of
The small glances we once shared
Like everything I ever fared
Was lifted off me
Though now I don't share glances or talks
With you or anyone
I still remember the small moments
We shared
The other I once glanced at and held
Is now head over heels for another boy
I support them
One of my best friends
That's all we are now and it's fine
Recently strutted in another
We talked before for a seemingly short week
It was by far the best place I'd ever gone
Sure I had to leave behind every friend I made
But I didn't regret a moment shared with them
With her
She now is the only one who talked to me
She now wants to know me better
And hates the distance between us
As do I
But she wants to be with me
And I still don't know how to reply
With the feelings I never hid
Sometimes I just want to cry
Remembering everything I never did
To deserve their eye
