Flowers
When you told me of the girl of a flower
How you beamed and gushed over someone
Though I only knew the name to
I supported you
Speaking of what you wanted to hear
You smiled, as I tried not to cry
Then I dreamt of the girl
A dainty figure made of petals
Covered in vines of thorns
Full of scorn
Lips as smooth as silk
But dripped toxic poison
Eyes flawless and pristine
Yet hid a evil figurine
In reality she was a human being
One I've never seen
At last I wished this was all a dream
