I wrote these over a period of months. Some were inspired by things that happened to me, others were inspired by books, and a few I just had an idea and went with it. I haven't edited these so please excuse an errors that I may have missed while writing them. I honestly debated even sharing these so I decided that I'd only do it for a day, unless people read them and wanted me to continue. So goodbye for now.

Obviously I continued on with this book despite not getting many comments but rather because I think a person's art or writing truly shows who they are. Although when I was just beginning poetry, I knew absolutely nothing about it and I still don't really use the traditional methods of poetry because I don't think you should have to conform to a certain style to speak your mind. When I look back on my older work, I don't really like it as much as my more recent work but it's good to show progress. Since you'll only be a beginner once, so enjoy learning and messing up because you can only improve.

So I never update, 'Tis a shocker, I know. Geez I sound so formal in those last ones, that's weird considering how much I've changed.
Do you ever look back at old writing and just cringe? Because, same.
Just posted tonight (actually it's almost 2am whoops) since I randomly got inspired and maybe I'll do that again. Who knows.
I barely dabble in poetry anymore, I write "short" stories now (if they're less than 9 pages that's a miracle).
I guess what I mean is, every writer starts somewhere, even if it is crappy vent poetry. And hey, it is what it is, so you gotta keep moving forward.

In summary: free verse poetry is the best you can't change my mind (oh yeah and don't forget to take care of yourself, ya hear?)
