A/N: Oh wow, has it really been so long since I updated this? Oopsie hehehe, sorry about that. Guess I kinda had a little bit of a writer's block for a bit. But I'm back now-

Me: *groan* Yes, thank you for that. Anyways, I hope you all enjoy the chappie

Me: Also, if it wasn't clear before, Phantom Planet never happened, but everything leading up to it did.

Third Person POV

After their encounter with the mysterious Danny Phantom, the Pines and their friends made their way to a hotel, booking three rooms. Luckily, the currency from their dimension was the same as this dimension and Ford was able to pay for a weeks stay. As the group headed up to their rooms, Dipper turned to his great-uncle. "Hey Great-Uncle Ford? Where'd you get all that money?"

Ford merely just winked at the younger boy. The group arrived at their rooms and peeked inside each one. They were all relatively the same. Two beds along the wall, a television across from the beds on a stand. A closet near the door with a bathroom across from it. Two of the rooms held empty mini-fridges. "Looks like we're gonna have to pair up," Stan commented somewhat sourly.

Sparks: I call being in Wendy's room!

Blitz: *still holding suitcases* I'm still packed and ready to go.

Me: You two hush, you're not going anywhere.

Sparks and Blitz: *groan* You're no fun

"I call this room!" Mabel cried, running into the closest room and flopping onto the bed. The room she had chosen had a window that overlooked a small park area. It also had one of the mini-fridges.

"I'll be with Mabel," Wendy said, walking into the room after Mabel, "Girls gotta stick together right?" Wendy winked at Mabel, causing her to squeal excitedly. The lumberjack sat on the other vacant bed, falling onto her back and kicking off her boots.

Blitz: SLEEPOVER!

Sparks: GREAT IDEA! WE CAN TELL THEM STORIES ABOUT DANNY!

Me: Absolutely not! You two are staying here with me!

"I guess Soos and I can pair up," Dipper said.

Soos smiled at that, "Oh yeah! The Pterodactyl Bros are back!" Dipper chuckled at the memory of their time hunting down Mabel's pet pig Waddles to save it from an actual pterodactyl. Waddles was currently still at the twin's home in California. Apparently, pigs still weren't allowed on public transport vehicles. But their parents had promised to drive Waddles up to the shack as soon as they could.

Blitz: Aw, poor Waddles

"Guess that leaves you and me Poindexter," Stan said. Ford nodded and headed into the room leftover for the two older twins while Dipper and Soos entered theirs. Everyone got settled into their designated rooms and they were each given a key card. Ford mindlessly flipped on the TV to the news station.

"This is Lance Thunder, reporting live from downtown Amity. It appears town hero, Danny Phantom is fighting the infamous ghost known commonly as Plasmius alongside one of his sworn enemies. The Red Huntress." A blond male spoke, as the camera panned upwards to a fight. Ford instantly whipped around, planting himself on the bed and calling everyone into the room. Dipper, Mabel and Soos sat on the floor in front of the TV while Wendy sat on the bed beside Ford and Stan stood with his arms crossed.

Sparks: Yay Valerie!

"Val- I mean Huntress! Watch your back!" Danny Phantom cried as he pushed a girl wearing a red suit on a hover board out of the way of an oncoming blast of energy.

"Thanks Phantom!" Huntress replied, as she headed towards a floating ghost with pointed black hair, red eyes, pearly fangs and blue skin, wearing a white suit along with a cape.

He merely laughed at the teen's attempt to blast him with a wrist ray on her gauntlet, "Is that all you got child? I've seen an infant do better than that!"

Blitz: Wow, that was possibly one of the worst quips I've ever heard. And I've listened to all of Danny's puns.

Sparks: Hey! Some of them are funny.

"Can it Plasmius! We're just getting warmed up," Danny retorted as he blasted the ghost with an ice beam. "Hit 'im with all you got Red!"

The camera panned back down to the reporter, "Citizens are warned to remain indoors during this encounter. This is Lance Thunder saying... why don't I move out of this city?" The channel flipped to a weather report and Ford muted the TV.

Sparks: Good question Lance. You'd think a town constantly haunted by ghosts would have a very low population.

Blitz: One might even say it could be a-

Me: Don't you dare say it.

Sparks and Blitz: A GHOST TOWN!

Me: *groans* You said it.

"Who's in the mood for a little field trip?" The scientist asked. Mabel, and Soos's faces lit up with excitement while Wendy just smirked. Dipper smiled and Stan stared at his twin incredulously.

"Ford you can't be serious!" He cried, "Why don't we all just bunk here until that thing is recharged and get the heck out of here!?"

Mabel stood up, "Aw c'mon Grunkle Stan, if you had the chance to explore an entirely different dimension would you spend it sitting in a hotel?" Stan frowned slightly and muttered something about him going out to explore a little bit. Mabel smiled and pulled her Grunkle out of the room, the rest of the group following close behind.

Sparks: Yay! An adventure!

Sparks and Blitz: Hey!

The group arrived downtown just as the fight was coming to a close. Red Huntress rammed into Plasmius on her board while Phantom flew into him, landing an uppercut. Plasmius was knocked back and Danny took the opportunity to pull out his trusty thermos. Plasmius noticed the weapon and smirked, "Not today son." And with that, Plasmius faded into mist. Red Huntress cried out in anger at the loss of her enemy. She and Danny shared a conversation before the two parted ways.

Blitz: I ship it.

Sparks: Blitz! Don't anger the Amethyst Ocean shippers!

Blitz: I can't help it! They're so cute together. Valerie and Danny I mean. Don't get any other ideas you guys!

Me: Ugh

Ford immediately began to rush onto the scene of the fight, with the others following close behind. He turned to hand everyone small devices. They were small, thin black rectangles with an antenna on the top and a screen on the face. Dipper turned his over in his hands, "What are these things?"

Ford smiled, "These are Ecto-Energy-Tracking-Devices. I designed them to pick up high levels of ectoplasmic energy."

"When did you have time to make these Mr.Pines?" Asked Soos.

"After our first encounter with Danny and while you were all settling in at the hotel," Ford replied simply, "Now come, search the area for any signs of an energy source"

The group began to walk around the area, waving their devices around. After maybe five minutes, Wendy cried out, "I think I found something!" Everyone rushed over to the teen and saw what she had found. On the pavement of the road was a very small puddle of green liquid.

Blitz: Ew, gross.

Sparks: I once saw something like that outside that weird club in New York

Me: SPARKS!

Ford pulled out a empty test tube and a cotton swab. He dabbed it in the liquid, getting a sample of it before placing the swab into the test tube. He pocketed the test tube and began to walk off. The rest of the group rushed after him. "Well, this was quite the successful field trip wasn't it?" Ford mused. He received no reply.

Sparks: Cold

"Well, we best get back to the hotel. You kids have to get up early tomorrow," Ford said, turning to Dipper, Mabel and Wendy. The kids and teen sent a confused look Ford's way.

"Why do we have to get up early?" Dipper asked.

Ford chuckled, "Because you three are going to school tomorrow."

Sparks: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Blitz: HE'S SENDING THEM TO SCHOOL?! THE HORROR! THE HOOOOOORRRRRRRRROORRRR

Me: Ugh, well that wraps up this chapter. Sorry it took so long to get out. I'll try to do better in the future.
