You here absolutely nothing

No breathing from the others in your home

No air rushing down from the vents

No creaking of the floor

No movements or shifts of the sheets

Not even your own blinks, your own breathing, anything

Not even your own thoughts

They are silent

It's like they've just disappeared

Your head is now empty

Then you hear the woosh of air coming down from the vents

The patter of something running down the halls

The snores of the other humans in your home

The sudden slam of one of your doors in the house                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       Someone moving positions in there bed

 Like someone turn the worlds sound switch back on

But wait-

The one thing not back one yet

Your thoughts

They are still silent    

The world had continued its rotations but your stuck in that same spot

Your stuck in the silence 

You can't keep up with the world

Your stuck

But when you finally catch up

It's to much

Your overwhelmed and now you can't processes anything more

But the world wont stop moving

You can't keep up

And now you can't even function

Now your just another broken part

Another piece of this world crippled
